Zaelia

A little girl with blond hair ran by us, skidded to a stop, then ran back.

"The king is going to execute all the magic creatures! You have to evacuate!" she shrieked. I looked at Nightfall. She looked at me.

"Do you think it's true?" she asked.

"I wouldn't put it past him. I'd say so." I answered, reaching behind my back for my sword. So Nightfall and I ran behind the girl, me with my sword held out to the side, her in lioness form.

Maybe I could stay in the land... you couldn't really tell I was an elf...

Except I was already known for it. Lovely.

hey, Jude, don't make it bad

This was terrible. My world was falling apart! This was my place, where I could go to escape everything else. I could do whatever I wanted here, but now all the creatures were in danger.

"We need to warn everybody." I said. The two following me nodded.

We split up so we could make sure to warn everybody in time.

((Shortness is okay. I understand that sometimes there's not much to say in your post.))

"Not really, no." I said, taking another step back. She shook her head. Both our heads snapped in the direction of a branch snap. "Someone's coming hide!" I said, she jumped into some bushes and I climbed up into a tree. I couldn't get a hold on the branch, so I was hanging off of it. Two gaurds from the castle stepped through the trees. Standing right below me.
"I know I heard talking." One gaurd said, scanning the area. The other guy put a hand on his shoulder.
"I think you're hearing things." He said, the other one stood, almost directly below me. Karma was taunting me.
"Your right, it's not like magical creatures fall from the sky." I waved my hand, making a branch lower down to me. I grabbed onto it. I cursed silently when I heard it snap. They both looked up. As if on command it broke and I landed on top of one, I jumped up and flapped my wings, the gaurd who was still standing grabbed my arm. I flapped my wings, getting a little air, before falling agian. I forgot about the dragon...

Rosella

The fairy had managed to reveal herself. When two men came she just took off into the air rather then finding a place to hide. She had revealed herself by making a branch snap. Rosella cursed and considered leaving the fairy. That was against the code she had been raised on. She lowered from the skies and landed on the ground. She tacked one of the men with her shoulder while she hit the other with her tail.

"Fucking dragon!" She knocked over the one man with her tail and made the other stagger a bit. She looked up at the fairy. "Run." Her voice was calm. She didn't want the men knowing she could speak much. It was generally a bad thing, they'd make you carry them around, and then do everything for them. Humans were lazy creatures.

While the humans were dazed she shot purple sparks onto them. They cursed some more and tried to get them off. Unless washed off those sparks would stick. During the confusion the fairy got lose. She ignored what the fairy might like better and snatched her out of the air.

She jumped and beat her wings hard. She flew up to the point where they would be safe from thrown weapons and hovered. "Are you okay?"
All I can hear; "I me mine, I me mine, I me mine". Even those tears; "I me mine, I me mine, I me mine". No one's frightened of playing it. Everyone's saying it. Flowing more freely than wine. All through your life; "I me mine".

Enyalius

Enyalius sped through the forest, his muffled strides slightly longer than the average human's and his swirling eyes that much keener. Escaping the palace had not been difficult, but he knew that this was because Gryk had engineered it to be so. The king wanted his son to be on the run; perhaps he believed that the faeries would not rally around him, and would fall, leaderless, before the palace gates. Enyalius grimaced. His logical mind was powerless to disagree with Gryk. The odds were against the Prince.

As he forged his way deeper into the forest, he wondered how long he had been running for. He was sure it was more than an hour, by the reckoning of the sun, which was now dipping below the horizon. It was bowing towards him, as his subjects had done all his life. Now, Enyalius was not royalty, but a fugitive.

If he had forgotten this for a second as he stopped to catch his breath, the sound of leaves crunching underneath heavy feet, approaching quickly behind him, soon reminded him. Stepping elegantly into the shadow of a nearby tree, Enyalius disappeared into darkness - and waited.

((Could be anyone!))

Ren

I stepped out from behind the tree, looking for Sera. Instead, I found someting much worse.

"Prince Enyalius," I said. this wasn't good at all. No doubt he was on an errand for the king. I had to stall, and fast, "What are you dong here?" I thought of the most generic question I could. Something that would take him more than one word to answer while I thought of a better plan.

"That is none of your concern," he answered, and began to walk away. This wasn't working. I needed a new plan. I thought for a minute, then an idea cme to me. I followed after him, almost runing to match his stride. He stopped again.

"What do you want?" He demanded. I suddenly felt bad for anyone who got on his bad side.

"Well, the king ordered you back to the castle. He needed someting from you. He sent me to find you." The lies flowed easily from my tounge, and I was thankful that my friend Ellsie had taught me. I leaned against the back of a tree, and waited for him to take my bait and leave the forest. Whatever he was up to wasn't good.

I ran through the forest, tears in my eyes. I heard talking, and went to warn whoever it was about what was going on. Unfortunately, I came across the prince. I hid in a bush nearby, hoping he wouldn't notice me. No one inside the palace knew I came here so often, even though it was my world. I thought that they were good people, but now that I knew what they were trying to do, I thought it best to stay away from them.

"Step out of my way." he said to someone who was standing in front of him. "The king just sent me to do something."

"He forgot to tell you something. Something important." The girl said.

"What is it?" he asked.

"He didn't tell me. He said only you could here it." The prince glared at her, clearly not buying it. I heard guards coming towards me, and I knew I had to get out of there fast, but there was nowhere to go. If I came out from my hiding spot, the prince would see me. If I stayed where I was, the guards would find me. I was trapped.

Sera

I sat up in a nearby tree, watching as his high-high-highness and Ren argued. Just as I was about to go show the Prince who was boss around here, a little girl ran under the tree I was in. I heard the loud voices of guards behind her, and decided to do a good thing. I reached down, covered her mouth, and then pulled her into the tree.

"Keep quiet," I whispered, "or we're both dead." I waited until the guards ran by, and then uncovered her mouth. I put her on a branch near mine. I looked her over. She looked like a short human. I didn't have much experiance with humans outside of Ren, and didn't know what young humans looked like.

Sorry it's short...

Enyalius

"Well, the king ordered you back to the castle. He needed something from you. He sent me to find you."

Enyalius vaguely recognised the pretty young woman standing before him; he had seen her once or twice before, occupying the shadows beneath the colonnades at banquets. He could hear her upbringing in her perfectly sounded consonants, but he knew immediately that her story had no place within Gryk's plan. Who was she, with the audacity to lie to royalty? He wasn't insulted, but impressed.

Heavy footfalls began to echo in Enyalius' ears once again, though it appeared the girl had yet to hear them.

"You should go," he said, his voice a monotone. "I don't know why you're here, but it's hardly difficult to work out that a young woman in the middle of a forest, alone, has a story. Get out before your cover's blown."

The woman nodded slowly, but didn't move. The footsteps were louder now and Enyalius recognised the measured step of guards. So far out into the forest? They really were searching, but Enyalius couldn't believe that it was all for him. He had acknowledged before that there were other creatures in the forest, but he had no idea that they could be so important to his father.

"You can follow me, lady, or face them." The woman could hear the footsteps now; they were ever closer. They had moved further into the dark, but Enyalius knew that they were far from clear. He drew a long silver knife, bought at a travelling fair years before. "Here, come this way. It's thick, and difficult to navigate, which means that only the brave and the foolish will follow. I'm sure you'll find that both are easily dealt with."

"Keep quiet, or we're both dead." The girl said. I closed my eyes and said nothing until the prince and guards had passed. When they did, I started breathing heavily.

"What's wrong?" the girl asked. My eyes were still closed, so I didn't see her.

"I-I-I'm afraid." I said, shaking.

"Of what?"

"Falling." I said. The girl laughed. I could feel that I was moving, and then it stopped. I opened my eyes. We were on the ground. I was glad to be out of that tree, but that didn't solve all of my problems. My fantasy world, the one I came to to get away from everything, and enjoy it all. My one place where everything was perfect, where I could make anything possible, was ruined.
