Setji nodded at the newest newcomer, "You say think train is gonna blow? Let's hope not. We're in the blast radius whether we run down the tunnel or up the tunnel. The explosion will hit us either way."
He looked around and then noticed that one way of the tunnel V'd off. He grinned, but without emotion, "Okay guys, left or right? We'll take a vote."
He wanted to go right, it looked safer, but he didn't need his assets despising him. They were meant to be advantages, not cons.
Corey glowered at the right tunnel, squinting his eyes. He jumped back suddenly at the shadow that moved across the tunnel quickly, invulontarially shoving Ashley back and standing in front of her. "There's no vote. Left. We go left." He growled, sticking his hand in his pocket to feel his switchblade. Gently taking Ashley's hand, not caring if he had her permission or not, he started towards the tunnel on the left.
Oh, the tiger will love you. There is no sincerer love than the love of food. George Bernard Shaw
He took my hand? And he had a knife? This wasn't awkward and scary AT. ALL. I pulled my hand away and he turned, smiling sympathetically. For a big guy he was such a softy, i was starting to see that. What was i saying, i had lived in almost complete solitude for quiet a while. Talking to people on chat-sites didn't really count as social interaction. I wish it did. Then my mom would have never sent me to that stupid camp. I don't regret getting pregnant, i regretted not knowing who the daddy was and getting pregnant without being married. OH NO if my dad found out would he find the guy and force him to marry me? Derek had always been old fashioned. That's why he would never divorce my mom, they always worked things out. I shuddered hearing something moving. I slipped to the back of the group. I heard something, we all turned around, I couldn't see anything. We continued on a little more wary. Suddenly something grabbed my wrist. I stopped abruptly. I turned my head to come face to face with a hideously deformed male. He growled from deep in his throat, which scared me enough to scream. Corey was first to turn around. "ASHELY!"
"Even in the end --even in death-- I can't hate you." - Neri Hereford's last words.
"The Gods demand blood, for they... do not bleed." Jaska.
Setji rolled his eyes at the scream. He had wanted to go right. He sighed and turned around to look at the girl being attacked by another mutant thing. Setji shrugged. The "there-is-no-vote"-man could take care of this one. It was his fault anyway.
So Setji leant against the tunnel wall and watched as the others battles the mutant.
<Sorry for such a late reply. I went on a short vacation and I wasn't allowed to bring the laptop, so I couldn't type.>
Aurellia Rose White/Tsundre:
I jumped back, missing the voilent swing of the monsters hand. Swallowing a scream, I grabbed onto Ashley's waist and pulled her back before she was clawed down the side of her face. Sarabi moved quickly, ducking she ran towards the gas light, pulling the tattered scarf from around her neck. Before I could see what she was doing, Corey yelped as the monster leapt on him. Sending the two of them crashing towards the ground.
Surging forward, I hit meekly at the monster turning its attention on me. Bad escape, growling it jumped, dragging me to the cold floor. Ashely howled as I just barley missed my neck being sliced open. Grabbing onto its hands, I fought back it weight, trying my best not to fold (give up). I could see Deu lounging against the wall, what was up with him!
"Help!" I shouted urgently, flicking a glance momentarily at me, he stood.
"It's not a challenge," he muttered. Forcing the monster under me, I lunged backwards dodging its vicous claws. Kicking me in the chest, I rolled backwards; winded. Clutching at my chest, I began to gag.
"Deu!" I shouted.
I do not have a short attention span, I am-Hey look it's a sparkely KITTY! Quick Catch it!
