Personality: Dameon's very... loud. He loves to laugh, loves to have fun, and absolutely loves to flirt with girls. He loves the ones who play hard to get, but he also can be really sensitive. Sometimes Garrett calls him a big baby.

History: Dameon's the crown prince of the Kingdom of Ayahana. His fathers the king, however he grew up without a motherr, and instead, his father married the princess of Greal. Together they had Dameon's little sister, who is fourteen at the moment in time. She was supposed to be wed to Dameon's best friend, Garrett, but the young man wouldn't have it, saying that she was far to young, and then telling Dameon that she wasn't even pretty, which was true for a ten year old. Dameon, like Garrett, refuses to bewed a royal and instead, will let his little sister take his place.

Torture? I thought with disgust. My parents would never. Or would they? Something told me I didn't know them as much as I thought. I held back a cough that made me make a gaging noise, and Garrett turned to look who was here. I froze, not moving an inch as he moved around the corner to look at me.

KING TORRAN

I stared at the boy, biting my lip. The general had joined us, and he looked thrilled with the girls' capture.

He cleared his throat loudly and I looked over to him. "I still say torture is the best policy. After all they've done, it's a fitting punishment, and they might tell us where that Davis boy and Clare got to," he insisted.

I glowered at him and had there been a table in front of me, my fist would have come down on it. "No!" I shouted. The others blinked at me, shocked by my outburst. I calmed myself before continuing. "I do not give death sentences and I do not allow torture. If you dare hurt any prisoners in my absense without a very, very good reason, I will have you hanged. Is that understood?"

The general gave a slight bow of his head. "Of course your majesty. Forgive me." Jaykob remained silent, as did Adola.

"Thank you, General. I was hoping to catch a few words with the others, but it seems that it is our time to leave." I turned on my heel back towards the stairs.

SHANAELA MARZ

I let out a sigh of relief as the king left. They weren't near Garrett or the princess, which I took as good. I doubted they were supposed to be down here.

"If you come back," the general muttered under his breath, smirking at Raven and me.

"What was that sir?" Jaykob asked, obviously not catching it.

"Nothing. I'll leave you with these two for now. I have... matters to attend to." With that the general left, and I couldn't shake the feeling that he was incredibly familiar. Where had I seen him before? He went the same way as the king and queen, not passing the two that remained hidden. I returned to glaring at Jaykob.

MARROE

I stayed at the edge of the forest near the palace gardens, waiting. Bobo had taken to sitting in a limb next to me, fiddling with things boredly. "She'll be out soon," I assured him. "Hopefully."

Where was she anyways? She doesn't know you're here, calm down. I told myself.

DAVIS

I saw a bird fly over, I went the direction it came from and sure enough, saw a stunned clare, standing. All alone. I snuck up behind her, taking out my dagger. I wasn't ruining my lie. I walked up behind her slowly, she looked like she didn't knowwhat to do with herself. I slid my arm out in front of her and held the dagger to her neck, she gasped.
"W-what do you want?" Guess she didn't realise it was me.
"I'm going to make it all better darlin'" I said. I grabbed the weave of her hair and pinned her toa tree. I had to make her forget again. I smashed her head against the trunk, making the tree shake and her tense up and yell out. I pulled her head back and smashed it to the tree again, she went limp as a few loose leaves fell to the ground.

As Garrett rounded the corner, I slid out the door, ignoring the slight touch he was able to give me. I skidded out into the hall, away from everyone, and began walking casually to my garden. My heart was racing, and I kept my hand on my chest, scared he would get me back for listening later.

I walked out into the garden, waving the guards off as I did yesterday. I had no need for them. My only encounter out here was with a thief who I had no intention on hurting. I stopped short, closing my eyes and taking a breath, wishing Garrett wouldn't have seen me. He was my older brother, what was he going to do to me? And besides, I wanted to help him in any way I could. I would find him later and tell him this, but at the moment, I spotted Marroe.

MARROE

Ha! She was here! I had to keep from running at her, and this I didn't quite understand. I approached her as slowly as possible, grinning the whole way. I took her hand and held it to my lips, kissing her knuckles. "I almost thought I wouldn't be seeing you today," I whispered.

"But you did," she answered, smiling back.

She seemed troubled, which bothered me slightly. "Is anything wrong?" I asked, furrowing my brow in concern.

"Of course not," I answered, relaxing a bit. Not anymore, anyway. I just hope Garrett would come out here to find me. I shook the thought away, and tried to enjoy my time with Marroe. I couldn't help but hug him, it was something I had to do. He laughed, and put his arms around my waist. This was actually the first time I'd hugged someone other than my parents. I hadn't even hugged my own brother. That was sad, but I didn't want to think about him right now.

MARROE

I was unconvinced, but I'd leave it alone for now. Bobo scampered up behind me, climbing my back and perching on the edge of my shoulder. He didn't seem to like that I was giving all my attention to somebody else, but he could suck it up. I pulled Shadow closer still, grinning.

"You know, I almost got caught last night," I whispered.

She looked up at me. "You did?"

I nodded, my grin broadening. "I almost gave up. But I figured that you'd be lost without me and kept going." I winked, chuckling lightly. I was almost caught...multiple times... and she had, in a way, been my encouragement to escape alive. Of course, I wouldn't have given up easily...

That only made me more worried, but I couldn't stop him from doing what he had to do. Or could I? If I gave him money and gold, he would have no reason to do that. I kept my thoughts to myself and leaned my head on his chest. Bobo seemed jealous, but Marroe didn't seem to care. Sophie wasn't in the mood for attention, so she laid on the bench, probably sleeping, if I knew her.

I pulled away from Marroe reluctantly, but took his hand and pulled him to the bench. Sophie hopped down, laying next to it. I wanted to kiss him for being safe, but I was way too nervous for any of that. Rain was perfect for a kiss, but, unfortunately, it wasn't raining. I guess as long as it was him I was kissing, I would be fine. I smiled at the thought.

MARROE

I smiled gently and tucked a few stray strands of hair behind Shadow's ear. "You know, I'll be fine when I go out. I've got something worth living for now after all." My heart was pounding dangerously. That had happened awefully quick... had I not been in such a good mood, I would be slightly unnerved at the moment.

Which I was I guess...but not in the way I would be... You're making no sense Marroe. I told myself. I hadn't realized until just then how close we were... nor did I realize that I was inching my way closer. How had I not noticed that one?

What I did notice, however, was that my lips had managed to find hers. Moment of perfection.

I closed my eyes. This was just a dream come true, but all too soon it was over. He pulled back an inch or two to look at me. I smiled at him, happy he did that. Bobo was screeching loudly, but I could barely hear him over the pounding my heart was making.

Sophie barked once, and he was quiet. I really didn't know what now, but I hugged Marroe once more, staying there for a moment. I loved him so much, there were no words for it. I laid my head on his chest, and heard his heart was beating fast too.

Garrett~

Garrett glared from the shadows as his father and mother walked out, barely catching his father's eye. The king frowned, tears glistening in his eyes, and continued up the steps. Once they were out of sight, Garrett nodded to Jaykob, who had his arms crossed and a arrogant smile on his face. Garrett grinned back, shaking his hand. "Great job. Tell me, what's that on her shoe?" The soldier leaned over, his head close to the bars.

"Where?"

"Right there, on the younger girl. You see that? Seems like a dagger." Jaykob leaned a little closer, and Garrett smirked, slamming Jaykob's skull into the bars. The soldier's eyes rolled into the back of his head, and he slid to the ground, breathing deeply. Garrett's eyes immediately went from anger, to worry as he wrapped his fingers around the bars, gazing at Naela and Raven. "Are you alright?" He asked softly, worry evident in his voice.

Dameon~

Dameon's horse, Gee, galloped heavily down the path. The escorts were following behind quickly, unable to see Dameon as he veered into the forest. Gee ran a little further, closer to the castle now, and suddenly, stopped. Dameon twirled his feet in the stirups to keep from falling out. "What is it?" He asked softly, Gee letting out a heavy snort as he slowly started walking again.

Slam!

A loud slam threaded through the air around Dameon, a scream following it.

Slam!

And then, there was silence. Gee's ears pivoted west, and Dameon pushed him on in that direction.

A man was heaving a young girl, younger than Dameon, over his shoulder, her head bleeding heavily. "Sir, I advise you to put her down." Dameon growled, trying to remain calm. One thing he didn't take kindly to, was abuse.

"Ha!" The man spit out a laugh and dropped the girl, grabbing his dagger. He charged Dameon, who kicked out with his steel toed boot, making contact with the man's temple. A groan, and soon, his fell to the ground. He was going to have one hell of a headache when he woke up. Dameon stepped off his horse, and walked over to the girl, picking her up gently and laying her over the back of the horse.

"Hup," he comanded, Gee trotting towards Garrett's palace. Dameon's best friend's palace. Dameon kept one hand on the girl's back as they rode. He prayed she didn't wake up and think him to be her attacker.

KING TORRAN

I swallowed hard before exiting the dungeon and blinked back my tears. My people really didn't need to see their king cry. Please, help him understand. I prayed silently, nodding at the guard station at the top of the steps.

He dipped his head in respect. "Is something wrong your majesty?" he asked quietly, voice edged in concern.

It was that obvious? I sighed. "I suppose something is wrong, but it's nothing that will affect anybody but myself. You need not worry."

Adola placed a hand on my shoulder and gave it a slight squeeze.

SHANAELA MARZ

I stumbled to my feet, almost choking on absolutely nothing. Idiot, of course he didn't betray you! I hissed at myself. Tears were brimming my eyes, and I blinked them back quickly. Why the heck was I crying? Apparently I had lost it. Yes, that was it, I was going crazy.

I'm fine, but Raven needs medical attention. I wrote quickly, tearing out the page and handing it to Garrett. It was messy, as I'd barely even pulled the notebook out before writing, but it was readable.

MARROE

I ran a hand through her hair, still half-fascinated by her choice of colour. Oh good lord, you can't possibly be in love already... And yet, I'm pretty sure I was. Shadow had to have cast some weird spell on me or something, I didn't know I was capable of falling in love.

I kissed the top of her head gently, pushing my confusion aside. Well, you are in love. Guess you'll have to live with it. I smiled to myself. Bobo jumped onto the bench and stared at the wolf, obviously having given up.

CLARE

I felt like I was moving. Where was Davis taking me? I slowly opened my eyes, to find I was facing the ground, on a horse, but... Davis didn't know how to ride a horse. At least not without falling off, and that could have been a lie. My head was pounding. I turned my head up to see a man. It definatly, wasn't davis. I pushed myself up off the horse and fell back on the ground. I grunted as I made contact. The horse stopped abruptly and he hopped off of it. I pulled myself to my feet and took a step away from him.
"Who are you?" I asked, this some how was davis' work. I just knew it.
"I won't hurt you." he said taking a step forward. I took a step back. Prepairing to run.
"Look I don't want to hurt you. But if I have to I will." He put his hands up defensivly, as if to say 'No harm'. I turned and started walking off. I felt a hand on my shoulder and swiftly turned punching him in the face. He stumbled back, I didn't make him bleed but that had to of hurt.
"I won't hurt you. I'm not like that guy back there, I won't let him hurt you." We stood in silence for a moment. Then I realised I freaked out. I relaxed and sighed.
"I'm sorry, I over re-acted."
