sorry about that...i edited my old post and will begin again in coming inside.

Maya

I walked across the street realizing that there was someone in there at the door. No, there were about two of them. One was on the door while the other one was inside asking them for their name. Again, this was another clue for any suspected citizen to get an idea that this bookstore was not a bookstore. I just hope there was a back-up plan for this but then again, it's almost night time.
I stood behind the woman and waved at the guy who was asking question. He looked at me curiously though i was predicting that he was about to asked me a question while he was busy asking the other woman some details. When he was finished with her, he looked at me. Wow, that's another clue for suspicion.
"We have some personnel problem here, may I know your name?"
That's another clue.
"Heh, for a staff member, you sure don't know your colleague do you? Anyway, I'm Maya...Maya Elizabeth Cardinal."
"Maya..." he said my name and happy i was that he did not called me Elizabeth. Elizabeth just sounds good when I pronounced my whole name.
"So am I in or out, your call?"
"You're in." he nodded and i slipped past him and entered the store while he locked the door. I moved inside and found a few people in there. They gave me a curious look and I grinned.
"For colleagues, you don't give a good welcome to new members do you?"
John McClane: Drop it. It's the police.
Tony: You won't hurt me.
John McClane: Oh, yeah? Why not?
Tony: Because you're a policeman. There are rules for policemen.
John McClane: Yeah. That's what my captain keeps telling me

(( Hope I wrote this right...)

Nyx Chruchill aka Jinx

After a thirteen hour plane ride, Nyx was tired and was ready to get to her destination, which was an old bookstore somewhere in town. Getting off the plane she looked around the airport. It was a busy place with many people in it. Sighting she made her way over to the luggage, picked up got her stuff and headed outside.

When she walked out, she was amazed by the site. There where buildings everywhere and cars were rushing down the street in mad dash. Standing my the side of the road, she actually mange to get a taxi The taxi stopped in front of her, then the driver got out and put her stuff in trunk of the car. He walked back around and get in the drivers side.

Nyx had gotten in the left side of the taxi, when the driver asked her where she wanted to go, she replied that she would like to go the old bookstore. Nodding he revved up the taxi and started on his way. While he was driving Nyx started looking out the window, wondering what her new accomplices would be like. It took a couple minutes to get there, but when she did their was already another girl standing in the door way.

Paying the taxi driver and then getting her stuff out of the trunk she then walked up to the door. Looking inside she noticed that their were people in there, so I gave a knock on the door, hoping that they would see or hear me…

Leighton Howell

The silence of the greenhouse surrounded Leighton as he watched the woman saunter away. There was a certain sway in her stride that convinced him she had taken the bait. Taken it and swallowed it whole, in fact. He wondered for a moment what she would have done had she known the flower he'd just given her came from a poisonous plant.

Probably nothing. It wasn't the flower that was poisonous anyway. Leighton turned to the plant vendor, who was slightly miffed. She sniffed and stuck her nose up in the air, a little indignantly. Leighton didn't blame her. She probably believed Leighton was hers after all the times he'd flirted with her.

"You pay for that?" she demanded in broken English.

How adorable. She never demanded he pay her before. In fact, she'd been content to order plants for him without letting him pay anything but attention.

"I'd never stiff you," Leighton replied in unbroken mandarin. She stepped backwards, surprised. He rewarded her with one of his most charming smiles. "I learned mandarin so it would be easier for us to talk."

Finally, a smile shone through her features as well. She blushed and shook her head.

"So, how much is it for the plant?" He leaned in close enough to make her blush harder.

"Three hundred yuan."

"Surely it doesn't cost that much?" He pretended to be appalled by the price. In China, everything could be haggled for. "I'll pay two hundred."

"No. Two-ninety."

"Darling, I only have two hundred and forty."

She mulled it over for a moment and finally gave in, nodding. He laughed and gave her the full three hundred anyway, as well as a peck on the cheek before picking up the potted plant and leaving. He heard her protest, not because she didn't like the kiss but because it was the proper thing to do.

He beamed at the potted plant in his hands. He would replant it in the mini-garden he'd convinced Clint and the others to allow him to have in the bunker. Not that anyone dared touch his plants anyway. They were always afraid they'd get some sort of terrible rash if they touched his plants.

The bookstore wasn't far from the vendor's shop - less than a block away. He headed towards the front door only to see a mini-crowd surrounding the bookstore.

Leighton stopped abruptly, causing someone behind him to crash into him and curse at him. Leighton ignored the man, who scurried away soon enough. Chinese never had enough time to stick around and throw a few punches anyway. Instead he watched with growing curiosity as the man stepped inside without even touching the doorknob. All of Leighton's blood rushed to his head and he reached for his inhaler, just in case he had an attack.

Why was the door unlocked? Did something happen to everyone else? Those three women staying outside - they were part of the enemies, weren't they? They definitely weren't Chinese, nor were they any of the regulars. Leighton walked up to them cheerfully and greeted them as he walked into the bookstore.

Thank God there was no blood. There was only Clint, entertaining yet another newcomer.

Huh. Suddenly the bookstore was popular?

"Y"I'm sorry, there's been some personnel confusion lately. May I have your name?" Clint asked the man.

But if Clint was around, then why wasn't the door locked? Leighton frowned and glanced at the man beside him. He grip on the potted plant tightened and he didn't doubt that he resembled a little boy more than ever now. Thank God he wasn't short, or Clint would have plunked him in the orphanage. He still remembered the first time he came. None of them believed him simply because he had no scars. Pfffft.

But now he sort of understood why they were so suspicious. The newcomer could be a foreign spy sent to infiltrate their tiny bookshop. He couldn't help but pout a bit when he realized that if the operation was compromised, their adorable little bookstore would be burned down.

Leighton glanced at Clint, who nodded at the younger man. I can take care of this, Clint's look said. So Leighton left well enough alone and slipped downstairs to the bunker...only to find even more unfamiliar people. Now Leighton was surprised.

Strangers in the bookstore were one thing, but in the bunker? Had he missed some sort of announcement? Not that he minded more people, but he did wonder where the sudden flood of new people came from.

"Leighton! Welcome home - hold on what's that? You brought another one of those plants?" Ty had come out of his room and was greeting Leighton with his usually warmth.

Leighton rather liked Ty best among all his current teammates, but that was just his own opinion. Leighton nodded. "It's a black hellebore. Beautiful, isn't it? Deadly too."

That was when the newcomers froze. Well. Leighton supposed not everyone got along with poisonous plants.

sure thing mixed up, i'll pull you. I also want some bit of interaction

Maya

I scanned the people around here, seemed average looking people to me. Heh, that's just the outer look. I wonder what the inside look looks like. The door opened, another person came in but this time, he was exclaiming something...some sort of plant.
I chuckled. Now that would live a lively mood in here. I think i'll talk to him....maybe some other time. I'll be going around to check the books. As i went to the corner by the eastern part of the store, there was a woman checking out some books.
"I see you beat me in here."
The woman looked back with the book between her hands.
"I came here early."
"Fair enough...that's a good reason for going here before me." Okay, Maya, try to calm down. It's not like she had purposely came here to show who's boss. "Name's Maya Elizabeth Cardinal or simply Maya. Don't want anyone to call me Elizabeth."
"Why not?"
"Elizabeth is only good when pronouncing my name as a whole. That's it"
She looked at me with green eyes before chuckling.
"Clare Stepples or Stepps?"
'Why? You like stairs or is S a favorite letter?"
" It's catchy in some way."
I nodded partly looking at her with a steady stare. I looked back briefly wondering if the boss was already starting. But then again it's too early. How many agents do you actually need? In this mission...must be a big one for I only work big ones unless its the old detective work again.
"Say do you know how this mission would work...i only got a message from HQ that i need to go here."
"Don't know...I more curious as you."
"This is sometimes the case for group mission, you know." I said as I looked at the book on trying to read. I hope most of them are Chinese. "Don't know what will be happening until everyone here."

Hayley Wilson, Assassination Specialist:

I walked into my boss's office, not the least bit intamidated. British Home Secretary Keates was something like a father to me, ever since my own father had died. A numb feeling washed through me at the memory of his burial ceremony. I bit my lip and shook the thought from my head. One day, I'd avenge him...killing was my specialty, after all.
Keates turned around in his swivel chair and faced me, his face hard.
"How'd it go?"
"Smooth as ever..." I grinned, remembering the past five days. I loved my job.
He cracked a grin. "Should've known, it's always that way when I send you on a case."
I nodded, a slight smile on my lips--which was rare for me.
"Well, I want your good luck--and expertise--out of this office and into a bookshop."
I raised an eyebrow.
He explained the situation to me.
"You in?"
"Definitely," I said.
I walked out the door to the waiting plane, and he called out behind me, "Make me proud, Hayley."
I smiled one last time at him, and left.

CLARE

"Well i hope i was sent here for a darn good reason. I'll be upset if i never get to use my specialty." A soft smirk spread across my lips as i looked down at the book i had been attempting to read. Reading was not my favorite pass-time.
"What's your specialty?" She crossed her arms and gave me the quick up-down stare. I winked and out my finger to my lips.
"That's for me to know and you to find out later." She sighed, i looked back up to her as she rolled her eyes. "I'll tell you mine if you tell me yours." I gave her the quick up-down in return.
"No, you tell me yours first." She gave me a slightly disgusted look and a scoff. 'One that can't be beat.' I thought to myself.
"Fine, my specialty is seduction. Your turn." I nodded at her, trying to look half interested.
"Interrogation, and torture." She smirked again, funny little one isn't she? I had hoped this place wouldn't be dull.
"I won't seduce anyone here if you promise not to torture them." I smiled and winked at her, she didn't look amused. I turned back to my book, it was about some dog sled team... why did i even pick it up?

seduction, huh? Clare began to read the book.
"I read an article." I added as she stared at me. "That there is such a thing called sexual torture."
"That's bondage." Clare looked at me. "I don't do such thing."
"No, that not what i meant. Bondage is not torture because there is pleasure. what I mean is a type of torture where you cut bits of pieces of a sexual organ in order to interrogate."
"That's disgusting, I can't believe that you do that."
I raised both palms in defense. "I did not say that i do that. I only interrogate when needed so no torture here. I just read an article. Besides, the only time i would do that is..."
"Please don't continue."
"Yes, maam. I am at your service." I chuckled. i got a feeling i was a little too friendly for her. The right word is annoying, Maya. Anyway, has it started already. Not yet. Clare began to read again. i peered in for a closer look. Dog sleds...so this girl sled or simply like dogs or snow or sleds....the list goes on, Maya.
I sighed as I whistled to myself. I began to stretched my arms up high. With those time sitting in the plane, it is pleasure to stretched my legs once more.

Daemys,

Seeing that the door was actually locked, I cursed. Right. No means of communication. Just great. I meandered around in front of the shop, hoping someone would come in and notice me. No luck. So I found a route 'round the back and looked for a back door. Finding one, I knocked on it as hard as I could. Nothing happened.
I waited ten minutes. Still nada. I knocked again. By now, I was frustrated, but I wasn't about to let that show. It was just that being ignored really got to me, for some reason. I'd have to work on that.

I'm a tad bit lost, so you'll have to bare with me... ;)

James Dakota (Jax)

Leaning back on the sofa, I shut my eyes and began whistling happily to myself. I could feel a few people staring at me, but I didn't care much. It was like a funeral in here at that moment. To be perfectly honest, I had no idea what was going on. There were a lot more members here now than there were an hour ago. At least when I eventually screwed up, I might not have ended up looking like an idiot. Someone else would be bound to screw up at some point, therefore making my future mistakes not look so bad.

Opening my eyes, I looked around the room. There were some nice looking girls around, that was definitely a good thing. The guys seemed pretty cool as well, most of them did, anyway. As the thoughts circled my head, I noticed a guy coming in through the doorway. In his hands was a rather exotic looking plant. Amused, I looked at him.

"It's a black hellebore. Beautiful, isn't it? Deadly too." He grinned, looking at the plant.

Everyone else seemed to be looking at him, terrified. Seriously...? It was a plant... If these guys were scared of a little plant, how on earth were they going to react when it came to guns?

"Dude!" I said, sitting up. "That is well cool, where'd you buy tha'? I am so gettin' one!"

"There's a vendor's shop, not far from here actually." He replied, laughing slightly at my enthusiasm.

He seemed pretty cool, he was the only guy so far who hadn't looked at me as though I was an idiot. I know that I was an idiot and everything, but nobody had to know that. I preferred coming across as cocky and arrogant, they wouldn't see me for the waste of space that I really was if I behaved like that.

The guy with the plant sat down, still admiring his plant. I heard TY call him Leighton as they began a conversation. Ty wasn't too bad actually, Leighton seemed nice enough too. Sighing to myself, I once again shut my eyes.

"When is this Leyton dude turning up?" My eyes remained shut. "'Cause I ain't got all day and I don't know about you guys, but I'm pretty bored."
I didn't know what to put here so I put this.

Ria

After say, twenty to fifteen minutes here I have learnt a lot about the people here. First of all they were touchy. Secondly, they didn't especially like people who pulled out guns at them.....so sue me! I thought they were getting attacked, the first thing I heard was poison and I wasn't known for not acting on the spur of the moment. It was what made me....Me.

I zipped open my bag and pulled out my Dragunov, I was very proud of it...it was the latest model too. I reloaded it quickly and put it back in my bag. I looked around the room and saw the other girl...Erika...Yes that's it! Erika leaning on the bed and reading her book, I probably should sit down and relax but I couldn't. I needed to do something to entertain myself. Bored Ria didn't get along easily with people.

I removed my I-pod from my pocket and turned the music up as loud as it could go, leaning on my makeshift bed and nodding in tune with the beat of the song.
Dont tell me the moon is shining, show me the glint of light on broken glass.

Maya Elizabeth Cardinal... Yeah, that rung a bell. A distant one, but it'd have to do. He let her in but kept an eye on her and the other, staying out of the talk and watching the street for any more arrivals. It seemed to be the trend today.

At least Leighton was a familiar face. He stepped out of the doorway to let him pass, rolling his eyes at the plant but staying carefully away. There'd be no repeat of that one incident from three weeks ago, thank you very much. He probably should have told him what was going on, but didn't want to do it out in the open, especially with two people who were technically strangers still there, so he just nodded at him and let him go on down to the bunker.

Now to deal with the two women who'd struck conversation... He'd caught the name Stepples, which had also been on the list, so that was one less thing to worry about.

...Were they actually talking about the job in the open? Scratch that last thought. What was HQ thinking sending them here? He stepped in before they could go into more detail. "Alright, enough with the pleasantries. Everyone's downstairs." He herded them to the stairs, ignoring the dirty looks. "Say hi, the rest of us will be down in a minute."

He'd only just closed the door behind them that there was someone knocking on the backdoor, and he sighed. "This is not my day..."

In retrospect, they probably should have taken care of the clutter in the backroom before. As it was, he nearly tripped over two chairs and a crate full of dusty Cantonese dictionaries before he made it to the door. He opened it, a touch more strongly than he normally would have, and stared at the man standing there. Caucasian still, visibly desperate to get in...

"You're another one, eh? Get in, and stop making so much noise." He locked the door behind them, went through the basic presentation and ID check. "OK, good. We've got most of the team assembled, I think, so let's just go down." And here was to hoping that was the last of it. He stopped before joining Reet and Leighton downstairs, hesitated. Should he go get Leyton? He must have been done with the visit by now.

[[I think everyone's in the house now? If I missed anyone, just pretend you got in by the back or after Leighton, so we're spared the whole getting in part >.> ]]
