SIS - Epic Storybook (No longer Accepting)

Welcome to the Espionage Epic Storybook.

Why's it epic?
This storybook has farmed characters from numerous numbers of YWSers in an effort to make YWS' first ever epic Storybook. What should result is a huge winding of character relationships, plot twists and dramatic curves. The output may even be comparitable to a novel!
Also, once we decide we've finished (which will, optimistically, be atleast 6 months after the deadline of accepting new characters) I'll be forming all the posts together in order to create a joint novel that'll essentially be co-written by every participant of the Storybook! I'll then send each of you a copy, and we'll see where to go from there!

Background

The British international secret intelligence service was born as a result of War security. Over the years it has changed from being Military Intelligence 6 (MI6) to it's new and modern name, "Secret Intelligence Service". It has also gained good relations with foreign Intelligence agencies, such as the CIA and GIGN in the USA and Germany.

Storybook Plot

The world is on the brink of World War III. The British intelligence service has been the most successful, longest running, international intelligence gatherer, field agent and assasin, in the world. The time has come for the elite of the SIS to be put on the field. A group of Secret Agents who have been flown over to the R.E.A.F (The Russian & Eastern Asian Front) to gather intelligence. Here they've set-up a base of operations disguised as a bookshop. You're a member of this team. However, they also have enemies in the South, threatening to use a Nuclear deterent if they don't get their demands of resources of oil, food and arms. Will the SIS be able to stop WWIII?

Your mission as a member of the SIS Elite Group:
There are many REAF officials circulating Russia and China, with the odd few in Japan. Your job is to assasinate/gather information or bug any of these in order to prevent a Nuclear war. However, at the same time, you're a community. You fight together daily and live in close terms, all on the first floor of the same book shop for a start! So relationships are also very important.

Personalities of Armies:
REAF: Aggresive history. China is ready to blow and Japan is majorly paranoid. This is the closest force to starting a nuclear war. Johnov Potrenski is the most protected man in the World.
STD: Extremely peaceful and diplomatic. However, they're lacking resources and have resorted to threatening nuclear war if they don't get necessities to live.
UNFD: Powerful, but unwise. UNFD rarely acts according to intelligence received and President Obama is on a quest for undeniable strength and power. The CIA sometimes interfere with SIS affairs, corrupting intelligence to their benefit. At points, the SIS will have to work against the CIA.

Appearance (Description): Short, cropped dark brown hair, young of face. Pale, white and relatively tall. He comes across as quite a hard-thinking bloke due to his stance of putting his hands behind his back and looking downward as a detective may be seen to do.

Personality: Loving and kind first and foremost, thanks to his family man attitude he was raised in. However, he's never been married or had a wife; he's a player in the romance side, but his relationships never seem to last. He's a hard thinker, hence the fact he's the leader and will never kill someone unless he has to. He's also quite patriotic.

Style: Stealth, if he has to. He prefers going undercover in operative situations rather than using his license to kill. Very rarely does he get involved, Guv'nor's a thinker and always has been.

Skills/Weapons/Other: Silenced Walther P99 9mm pistol. He can also adapt to a character quickly and therefore thrives in undercover operations.

Up for love: Yes.

History: Started in the army and by the time he was in his early twenties he had been fast drafted into the SAS. His rank rose quickly as his superiors realised his natural art as a team leader. However, by order of Her Majesty, he transferred into the SIS and has worked as a team leading Field Operative ever since. In terms of childhood, he loved the outdoors and had one good solid friend through school. Unfortunately his friend was killed and that sent him on a quest for justice ever since. Now his priority is to stop a war.

Nickname: C-4

Age: 32

Appearance: Hair usually slicked back, an easy smile and always that five-o'clock shadow for the roguish look. Tall, with broad shoulders, tanned skin. His stance is always very casual and relaxed.

Personality: The quiet, sarcastic kind of guy. He may appear charming and harmless most of the time, but when the circumstances demand it he is absolutely ruthless and shows no hesitation in getting things done, no matter the cost. It can bring him to take extreme measures, which isn't always a good thing in his line of work, and sometimes needs to be reined in by the others. Tendencies for overkill aside, he keeps his cool under pressure and can be counted on to do his job properly.

Preferred Vehicle: Heavy vehicles - jeeps, trucks, etc.

Style: Sabotage

Skills/Weapons/Other: SIG Sauer P229. Good with explosives and mechanics.

Up for love: Go for it.

History: A pretty non-descript childhood; father served in the Army, he grew up around the military and enlisted after finishing school. Started out in the 1st Armored Division, in the 24 Commando Engineer Regiment, where he served for a few years before being transferred to the SIS when the war seemed more imminent and some more men were needed on the field.

Nickname: Stepps, heart breaker

Age: 25

Appearance (Description): Long dark brown hair, light green eyes, her skin is paler then the picture, she's 5' 4", only weighs 115 LBS.

Personality: She is very flirtive, open and fun too. When the time calls for it she becomes very serious. Some say she's sick and twisted, messing with peoples heads the way she does.

Preferred Vehicle: Anything fast.

Style: For example: seduction

Skills/Weapons/Other: Best at hand at hand fight, she has terrible aim, but makes up for it with her skills to handle a dagger, or any blunt object.

Up for love: Of course, but you'll have to show her what real love is... not seduction, real love.

History: Her father was an assasin, her mother worked in the military, so she figured why not? She loves her country! All during highschool she was the heart throb, the girl every guy wanted to date. Often called heart breaker, because of this.

Personality: She is really nice, sweet, and interesting girl when she is with her co-workers. When she goes not a job she completely changes. She turns into someone who is really sweet, to someone who is a really cold and heartless girl. When on missions she really knows how to mess with people's mind and confuse them. She also knows how to cover up her true intentions really well.

Skills/Weapons/Other: She is amazing with guns. Specifically the Sniper Rifle. She can also use knives and other weapons. She also knows how to blend into the shadows and become "one" with them.

History: She mom and dad were pretty normal people or so she thought. She she was ten, her dad first taught her how to shoot a BB gun. It's when he taught her, where she learned who he really was. An assassin for the government and her mom was an investigator. In high school is where she chose to follow the footsteps of her dad.

Appearance (Description): Jax is a very attractive young guy. He's about 6 foot. He's rather muscular but not overly muscular. He's got tanned skin and messy, sandy blonde hair. He has emerald coloured eyes and wears thick framed glasses when he is reading something. He dresses in a rather quirky way; he always wears a pair of black and white converse that he's had since he was 16. They're a bit tight on his feet, but he doesn't mind. With his glasses on;

Personality: Jax is an outgoing guy. He doesn't take life too seriously, not seriously enough, to be honest. If he's in a tricky situation, he will always look on the bright side of things. Jax doesn't care all that much about himself, he's more interested in everyone else around him. He's a bit of a loner, but secretly, he likes being with people. He just doesn't like getting close to them because he is determined that, if he does, he will wreck everything for them. Jax isn't the smartest of all guys, but he is very good at fighting itself. He is also a brave guy, mostly because he doesn't care what happens to him. Purposely, Jax doesn't always act that kind to people. He can come across as arrogant and careless, but realisticly, he does care an awful lot about others. He can also get pretty annoying at times.

Preferred Vehicle: Red Mini Cooper.

Style: Making other people believe in what he believes. He's really good at deceiving people, especially girls, which is down to his looks. He's also a pretty avid fighter, but he can be hesitant at times because of his upbringing. Whenever he feels that way, he pushes the thought out of his head.

Skills/Weapons/Other: Jax is a very good fighter and can do wonders with a small shotgun. If he's given a large, powerful gun of any kind, he has a field day with it.

Up for love: Yeah

History: Originally from Essex, England. Jax grew up in a peaceful family, which is rather ironic. His mother hates anything to do with fighting and wars, therefore, when Jax told her that he was joining the SIS, she was no way happy. His father was no different. He would sometimes organise anti-war protests along with his wife and Jax would be forced to come along. That is one of the main reason Jax wanted to be a member of the SIS; he hated being forced to believe what his parents believed. Sometimes he can be slightly hesitant about fighting because of the way his parents brought him up.

Nickname: Casanova, Liar

Age: 26

Appearance (Description): Somewhat messy strawberry blond hair, amber eyes and the sweet boy-next-door sort of charm that comes with his innocent looks. He can look more mature if he wants to be, but most of the time he's the blond pretty boy of the bunch.

Personality: For all that he looks laidback, he's got a very dominant streak in him that likes to take control of any situation. He tends to research lots in preparation for anything. Often snarky and sarcastic when told to do something he doesn't like. Hardly ever sits around doing nothing - he compulsively searches for something to do at any given time, whether it be staking out a place or breaking some poor woman's heart. He often attends functions simply because he likes parties and company. Is particularly fond of hustling people - pretending to suck at a game only to suddenly become amazing when the stakes get high enough.

Preferred Vehicle: Sleek fast luxury cars. His personal favorites include the Mercedes McLaren and Lamborghinis.

Style: Deception/Manipulation. Leighton is not averse to using his looks to seduce girls and play the helpful civilian/lower worker to the more powerful men.

Skills/Weapons/Other: Leighton is fond of using poisons and drugs on whoever threatens the plan. During actual combat he uses machine pistols and has average to good aim, but most of the time he tries to avoid the confrontation by poisoning his enemy before it gets too messy.

Up for love: Sure.

History: He lived a fairly sheltered life as a politician's son. He had no interest in combat but was always fascinated by poisons, spies and such. When he made known his desire to join the army to be a spy, he was put in the field for a month - max - and experienced no heavy combat. Through connections he was able to get transferred to a spy unit, which is where he learned how to con deceive people. Eventually he was transferred to the SIS thanks to his good record. He hasn't spoken to his mother since he entered the army, as she was heavily opposed to it. His brother tries to contact him once in a while but he does his best to lay low and stay away from his family since his father's death a few years before the SB starts.

Name: Maya Elizabeth Cardinal

Nickname: Foxfire

Age: 25

Appearance: short cropped red hair. She has a large scar by her right arm and a small scar over her right eye. She is relatively small. Her face is somewhat sharp and wears red eye contacts that allows her to have night vision. Her real eye color is green.

Personality: Sarcastic and sometimes sadistic in nature and is unable to settle herself from chuckles during formal meetings. She is likes to be different and is an anti-conformist. She hates to conform even to her own colleagues. She likes to compete and hates to be beaten by anyone especially by a man. She likes to dresses in androgynous clothes and has a habit to grin. She is also observant in behavior and dialogues because she does not want to be fooled with stand against her philosophy of not being beaten by anyone.

Style: Interrogation, she often uses psychological or physical torture in order to get information. She also uses a special drug that deletes the memory of the interrogation from their mind.She also do the typical assassination but after some torture.

Skills: Maya is an expert of using knives and daggers either as throwing or in melee fighting. She does not like to use guns because they are quick in killing. She carries an estimate of 50 knives in any given time.

History: She was a daughter of influential politicians in Britain though Maya never felt that her parents actually cared for her. She was often seen as an aloof girl due to her anti-conformity behavior. When she was 15, she befriended a girl who became her best friend for a few years. Yet, when she was close to 18, she found her parents and a number of her cousins murdered during a family reunion in which she was late to arrived. She found her best friend as the murderer. Maya was told that she was simply a decoy for her main goal and tried to kill Maya. She got hit but survive leaving the two scars. When she recovered, she discovered that her best friend work for a secret agency in REAF. To avenge herself and her parents, she trained very strictly to the point that she became a member of the Secret Intelligence Service.
