CRIMSON

I chuckled and watched as Thorn ran off. "She's a delightful one," I muttered, beginning to follow slowly as I pleased. I liked to enjoy life.

"Very," Kade said sarcastically.

I was with a lovely bunch, I was. Then again, I was rather despicable myself. I patted my thigh and clucked my tongue. Stealth came trotting up, happy as ever. I wished I could tell what he was thinking. Maybe he had the answers to this all. Who I was, why we were here... I sighed loudly. No use trying to be cheerful when I really wasn't.

"Beautiful day for them to ruin." I sighed again. The cameras had totally ruined my ideal solitude. For all I knew billions of people were watching me now. Billions of people to hiss and boo. I could feel myself frowning, but I didn't think much of it.

THORN

Finally everyone filed in to the lounge. I picked up the c.d. and turned it in my fingers.
"Here, I'll put it in." Dylan offered. I handed it to him and he slid it into the DVD player. A dark figure appeared on the screen. The voice obviously changed.
"Welcome, guests. As you all have seen, this is no ordinary island." He chuckled, "In fact, this is no ordinary game. Some believe that the key to this game is teamwork. I believe that was one of the very rare teams to get off the island. But the truth remains. There is one rule, and one rule only." He said putting up his finger, "Get off the island alive, your reward is your life. It's not much in some cases..." I could swear i heard him mutter Tracy under his breath.

The C.D. ended. We all stared in awe.
"That. is even more sick and twisted then me." i said pointing at the t.v. Suddenly we heard the sound of glass breaking. Everyone ducked as nails whizzed through the air. I looked around, no one was hit. I leaned towards the sound of the broken glass, but Dylan pulled me back,
"Your not getting killed, no one is."

CRIMSON

I shoved Kade to the ground, myself not far behind. "What in hell's name..." I hissed under my breath. I looked up to see Dylan pulling Thorn back.

"You're not getting killed, no one is." Nice little confirmation there. I had an extremely protective side, and as much as I wanted to believe Dylan, I couldn't. There wasn't much use in stuffing lies into my head. False hopes lead to rash decisions.

I scrambled to my feet and offered Kade my hand. I helped her to her feet and looked around. "Looks like we're dealing with some sick puppies," I grumbled, kicking at the flat side of a glass shard.

Dylan gave me an annoyed look. "No? Really?" he scoffed sarcastically. I could only sigh.

DYLAN

I watched as another nail whizzed over my head. I looked over at the others.
"Maybe teamwork isn't such a bad idea." I couldn't tell if they were agreeing or not. Thorn piped up.
"How bout we use you as a human shield and make a run for it." She rolled her eyes. She definitely wasn't one for teamwork.

THORN

I looked over at an extension cord, plugged into the wall.
"Hey, are some nail guns plugged in?" I looked up at Mr. helpful. He nodded.
"Ya why?" I pointed over at the plug.
"That's why. How do we get it, if any of us go out there we are an easy shot."

Allegra:

"That's why. How do we get it, if any of us go out there we are an easy shot." Someone said.

Walking over to the wall I said sarcastically. "You all ready for this? This is so difficult no one else in the wolrd has ever done it." Grabbing the cord I waited for a dramatic effect. Them I tugged the cord out of the wall.

"Wow, thatw as so difficult." I said. The ADD kicking in I grabbed another side of the cord and began jumping it like a jumprope. I recieved some funny looks but all I did was smile at them.

"I'm Allegra. Well, I think I am. I'm not sure if that's my name or someone elses but I like it so I'll use it. Excuse the speed I'm talking at. I'm extremely hyper. Why you ask? It's because I have ADD. That's all I remember."

Bored with the false jumprope I dropped it and began pacing around the room.

Again, I recieved some funny looks. "What?" I asked with wide, innocent eyes.

Looking down at my nails I exclaimed "Oh cool!" Shoving my hands towards a girl I said "Look at my nails! They're so pretty!"

Kade

Looking down at Allegra's nails, I force a half smile. "Uh yeah, they're really nice. Mine are...," I look down at my nails, "okay I guess." When the jumpy girl moves onto someone else to bother, I nudge Crim. He glances at me from the side.

"What?"

"Thanks for, you know, helping me. If I got hit..." I shake my head. He shrugs as if it wasn't a big deal. Right. Not quite sure how I know just how typical that is, but I do. Probably the same way I know my name.

I sigh and sit down, watching Allegra. For such a dull place, she serves as pretty good entertainment, I have to say.

CRIMSON

I just shrugged and leaved well enough alone. Things like that is just what I did. Kade and Allegera were fantisizing about fingernails. ADD was a strange thing indeed.

"Well, are we all going to sit here like a bunch of mindless idiots and get our heads chopped off? Or are we actually going to go divise a plan?" I asked, crossing my arms. If nobody else was thinking cleary, I suppose I would have to do it for them. Watch the ego Crim. I warned myself. No need to make that grow on me.

THORN

"Well, are we all going to sit here like a bunch of mindless idiots and get our heads chopped off? Or are we actually going to go devise a plan?" stupid egotistical jack... i shook my head looking back up at everyone.
"Right, well we definitely need to get off this island, so we should find out what we have to help, and we have to stay together. As much as it bugs me, we'll survive longer if we do." Dylan being his annoying over happy self agreed.
"I like that plan!" ya ya go shove a sock in it. I looked up at everyone awaiting their responses.

[Raz here, sorry. I'd like to point out that ADD doesn't make you hyper, ADHD does. I should know,I have ADD.]

CRIMSON

I couldn't help but chuckle at Thorn's irritating expression when Dylan agreed a little too enthusiastically. Dylan should just give up hope. Thorn didn't want a corky guy with a positive attitude.

I eyed the cut marks on her wrists. Now there was another interesting point. How did she know that she needed to cut herself? Sure, the scars might have said something, but it was still strange to think about. Just how much did they leave us with? If we thought hard enough, could we uncover our pasts? Good thoughts that needed to be shoved aside for now.

Now, what next? First off, I was not sleeping in my own cabin. Who knows what it was rigged with? Nope, I was going to build myself a lean-to and use that instead. I thought out loud. "Well, I'm not sleeping in my cabin. I'm not risking the traps."

Kade

"Well, I'm not sleeping in my cabin. I'm not risking the traps." Crim has a point. Maybe we should sleep in a tree or...maybe a hole. Nah, I like the first idea better. The traps are too risky, and it would definitely be safer to sleep somewhere other than where we were intended to. But wait...

"If people are watching us, they heard you," I point out. "We don't know if they can set traps from wherever they are. For all we know, they're here on this island, or in a helicopter on their way here. We should be really cautious."

Thorn snorts, as if the idea of caution is ridiculous.

Whoops, I meant to put ADHD. I guess my finger must have slipped over the key,

CRIMSON

I shuddered, ignoring Thorn's snort. It didn't matter where I went, people would be watching. Bathing, relieving myself...whoever was in charge of this game was both perverted and sick. And what of the girls? Absolutely disgusting.

"True. Well now what? No matter what we do they'll be watching." I shoved my hands into my pockets and sighed. This was not exactly my favourite life experiences. How many more traps were set for us? For all we knew this whole building was going to go up in flames within the second. "First off, I want to get out of this hellhole of a cabin."

DYLAN

"Agreed, it's not safe, someone could have just got a nail through the head." I glanced over at thorn. I knew her, from before, i just had to! Maybe she was a lost cause, to me all she needed was love.

THORN
I nodded at crim after Dylan shut up. He was seriously annoying, I secretly hoped he'd be first to go. Cause let's face it, we will put up a fair fight... but we are all going to die. We all quickly got out of the cabin. I breathed in the out door air. Were we safe here? I looked over at the others.
"Who wants to humor me and share their idea of getting off the island. Cause i got nothing!" I clapped my hands together.

Allegra:

"Well don't you think we should make sure no cameras or microphones are around? If they find out what we're doing then they'll find a way to stop it just for their twisted enjoyment. Likes this," I knocked Crim on the back of the head and pushed him down "That was for my sick twisted enjoyment. I'm pretty sure they'll do worse."

Crim glowered at me. I gave him an apologetic smile and held my hand out to him "Sorry. I didn't mean anything by it. You were just closest and I was showing an exampple. Please don't hate me."
