DOMINIQUE

I was violently smacking the stupid wolf's back, he finally gave in and fell. I hit his temple, putting him out of his misery. Tarrion cried out in pain, i limp/ran over and started hitting him. My leg was throbbing, the wolf turned around and bit my leg, it wasn't that hard, i really didn't care if i lived or died.

My head was pounding. I hit the wolf again and it whimpered and backed off a bit. I hobbled over to the tree. "Saphire, come down. They're leaving." My leg gave out again, i leaned agaisnt the tree. Just needed to catch my breath. Wow, weird since of deja vu.

TARRION

I fell to the ground, clutching my wrist and squeezing my eyes shut. "I need this bandaged," I muttered to Domi through gritted teeth.

"Gemma! Saph! Come over here! Tarrion's hurt badly!" She screached. So she still wasn't willing to get too close to me? I began wondering why I was so relentless, why I needed her trust so badly. It didn't matter though, I was going to win it.

"My stuff is back at the fire, somebody help me back there please?" I whimpered pathetically. Maybe once Domi saw that people could get hurt without being exiled she would trust me more.

Gemma leaned down beside me, Saphire not far behind. "Dammit," one of them muttered. I couldn't tell which, my eyes were still shut tightly.

Gemma and saphire helped Tarrion up, and started back to camp. I followed not far behind. Wasn't he worried? What if these people turned on us? They would leave us, cause we are useless. Well i was. My heart began to pound as we got closer to camp. They sat him down beside the fire and started looking for something to bandage his hand with. I ripped off the bottom of my shirt and started wrapping it, keeping a distance from him. Why was i even letting myself get this close? I knew it was dangerous. I could hear a helicopter in the distance.

I looked up at him and smiled weakly, realising that he had been watching me. When i finished i backed up from him.I suddenly felt a bit relieved, i wasn't the only one who was weak alone, maybe, just maybe if we could build trust amongst us, we could survive. The helicopter got louder, coming into view. Every one sat around the fire, which was somehow still going despite the drizzle. I guess Tarrion had the same idea as me...
"We need to build trust, and get to know each other better. Who wants to start?" He looked over at me, no, no way. I shook my head and he sighed.

A helicopter came over our campsite, decending onto our camp. That woman was back, great. A guy was pushed out of the helicopter, then it took off agian. We all sat shocked, the guy gotup and brushed himself off. He waved at us and ran over.
"What's going on?" Tarrion studied him,
"We don't know, you can stay with us. Come, sit." The new guy sat right beside me, i scooted over. More guys, shudder.

Dimitri

Hello guys, I said. I was with you on the helicopter, but I was knocked out in a corner where that retched woman couldn't see me. I haven't properly introduced myself though, I'm Dimitri Skylar-King Svendsen. They call me Thunder though, so you can to.

I looked over at everyone else, they looked dazed. Then the unexpected happened, it started to pour. Thunder and lighting crackled all over the sky. "Oh shoot said Dominique, my bandages". She must have been afraid of me, other wise she wouldn't have shied away when I tried to help her. "Come here", I said sternly. "Those cuts will become infected if they are not covered properly", I said firmly again. I tore off some of my shirt and quickly bound it to Dominique's wounds. "Ouch, that hurt", she squealed playfully. I laughed and said "Don't take them off in the rain though." She gave a smile and said, "I'm glad I met you". Quickly I trudged through the rain to my bag. I pulled out a large piece of tarp, and went over to camp. The fire was out, so it was cold and dark. I went over to what looked like a chest, and unlocked it, pulling out an axe. I chopped away, while the others watched in awe. "How did he see that", "Wow he can split a full grown tree in like three hits, he must be strong". I delayed no longer, and made a make shift tent for shelter. An hour passed, and we all seemed to have dozed off.

DOMINIQUE

This new guy was amazing! He managed to do what we all struggled to do for the past few days. Build a shelter, cut down a tree. He was actually kind of cute, he had that, welcoming sence to him. That feeling you get when you believe you can actually trust some one. He even changed my bandages. Tarrion seemed to have a distast to him. But he kept quiet.

We were all asleep in the make-shift tent he made, at least he was smart enough to bring a tarp. Well, you couldn't blame us, we had no clue what was going on. I woke up in the middle of the night, every one was still asleep. Every one had found their way back to camp, thank god i was so worried. It was still pouring ran.

I crawled out of the tent, careful not to wake anyone. I stepped out into the rain, it had always allured me. It was so natural, yet... some how magical. Maybe it was because my village was so dry. We rarly got rain. I was drenched now. Standing by the dead fire, in the pouring rain, watching it fall from the sky.

I wandered into the woods, following an unknown pull. My arm was stinging, the pain in my leg was managable now, but my arm was stinging like crazy. I checked over the burn, how i had managed to hide it this long was beyond me. The rain was stinging it. Hitting it feircly. Stupid guys. Why did i allow myself to be hurt like this so many times? I must be a sucker for punishment. I heard a branch snapp behind me, i quickly turned around and called out.
"H-hello?"
Dimitri stepped through the trees. I sighed in relief. Thank god, not another animal.

I could hear Dominique wake up and walk away, and I stood there, making sure to hear whether or not she was in trouble. She wasn't, as far as I could tell- she was talking with the new guy, Dimitri.

I relaxed a bit and closed my eyes. I couldn't get to sleep under any circumstances- the sound of the rain pounding wasn't exactly music to my ears- but I would try, anyway. I heard someone behind me and spun around.

I crept closer, as to make sure Dominique knew that it truly was me. I spoke softly, and calmly; "Dominique, I couldn't help but notice your burns,I...", I was cut off short as Dominique fell to her knees and wept. I sat down next to her, and held her; "There there now, please don't cry". I tried my best to comfort her. I let her just weep in my arms. When she was done she told me, that it had been an accident. She was the village "slave girl", and she was bullied. She had been burned, by some village boys. I comforted her the best I possibly could, I mean what could I possible say to a girl who was still obviously still traumatized about it. When I was done, she smiled and said, "Wow, you totally have just changed my whole view about guys, I never knew they had hearts", she said jokingly. I said nothing but instead, I simply smiled. Just then Tarrion burst into laughter. I simply stood up and went back to camp. I took all my strength to hold back my anger.

I followed after him, there was something about him that... intrigue me. Maybe it was the fact he hasn't hurt me yet, even if it is by accident. I looked over at tarrion. suddenly felt so bad. He had tried to comfort me and i screamed at him, i would apologize to him later, but for now i wanted to see Dimitri. He had sat beside the dead fire.

This was odd for someone like me. I had been hurt so many times by people, yet i always let people get close. I looked over my shoulder at tarrion. The ran started to let up. I had the sinking feeling i was missing something. Something important. I walked over to wren. Gentilly taking her shoulder and turning her around.

"Can we talk? I need your advice."

"Sure," I said, smiling. "Hold on, let's get away from them..." We walked over to the far side of the clearing.

"Whats up with Tar?" Dominique asked. Oh, geez, obviously she had never been much of a guy kind of a girl. Well...

"Dominique... he kind of likes you."

"Well, I like him too," she said, confused. "Whats the problem with that?"

I laughed. "No, I mean in a... um... husband-wife way except not as serious."

"Oh." Dominique looked stunned. "That can't be true. No way, we're just friends-"

"Dom, trust me. I know how to tell these things."

"But I... I don't like him in that way," she said quietly.

I sighed. "I know, Dom. I can tell how you feel about Dimitri." I felt a little envious of how Tarrion liked her so much, but brushed it aside as I continued, "But that's why he's acting like that."

what? No that can't be it. I had screamed at him for crying out loud!
"No that can't be it! Wren, I'm not even sure how i feel about Dimitri." My heart quickened as i looked over at him. What was this crazy feeling that i couldn't explain... did tarrion feel it? More importantly did Dimitri?
"Trust me, it is." She sighed...
"What's wrong wren?" She looked away.
"Nothing." It sure didn't look like nothing.
"It has to be something." She shook her head. "ill be around when you want to talk about it okay?" She nodded.

I hugged her and walked back over to Dimitri. The rain had stopped now. It was just barley getting light out. The rain had stopped. I sighed oh well.

She gave me a quick hug and went back to talk to Dimitri. I sat there for a while as the rain died down. I sat there, staring at the sky and sighing.

My head was in my hands when Dominique came over. She sat bye me, and shot an irritated glance towards Tarrion. Tarrion didn't leave though, then I shot him and irritated glance, but he still didn't leave. I questioned myself, what was he doing. Was he testing me. He must have known I was thinking about what he was doing, because he shot me a quick glance, analyzing me, and left.

I just sighed and looked over at Dominique. She was eyeing me intently. "Dimitri, does Tarrion like me?" I stared at her for a while and replied, "I belive so, but Wren I belive likes Tarrion". "If I were you, I would stay away from him, because if you and Wren like him, theres bound to be trouble". "I know that you may think this is a "plot" for me to get closer to you, but I'm trying hard to help everyone here". "I belive you, but I dont know what to do", Dominique said bluntly. Before I could speak Tarrion again burst in to laughter. I got up abruptly and socked him right in the stomach. "STOP IT, STOP IT NOW, IF THATS HOW YOU SOLVE YOUR ANGER, THEN MAYBE I SHOULD STAY AWAY FROM YOU TO". I looked over at Tarrion who was buckled over, and I picked up Pinko, and left, trying to ignore Dominique. I sat down on a ledge near a waterfall. Clearly the others were up, becuase I could hear fussing. I just decided to sleep it off, I really could use the extra sleep. So Pinko and I slept, and slept, and slept.
