Wren

"Deer, great," I said. Dominique and I cooked it and I turned to the person who had brought us the deer.

"Hi," I said.

"Hey," they replied.

"I'm Wren," I said brightly. "And you are?"

>Sorry I haven't posted. I'm very sorry if it doesn't fit! :D <

~Annie May~

I woke up, half expecting to roll out of bed as usuel. Instead, I fell out of a helicopter--if you called being pushed falling. I sat up only to see the helicopter leave. What had happened? I'd been out last night with my friends, leaving my sister Kendall at home, then, I wake up here. My bags and my only pet were here. I looked at the snake. It was a yellow bananna snake.>sorry I didn't put it in the character profile<

I looked up and around. It was morning by the look of the sky, but fairly early. I saw my sister gathered around with the others that I vaguely remembered being forced onto the helicopter with us. I rubbed my eyes, grabbed my stuff, and headed over to them. Kendall looked up at me hapily. I had obviously missed something. I sat next to her in a daze, pulling out my snake. This was awkward, and I wanted to ask what had happened, but who would know?

"Where are we?" I asked instead. Kendall looked at me, her smile gone. Then, she explained what happend.

((Guys, one thing I'd like to say: Please post your character's name in bolded letters at the top of your posts. Thanks!))

Tarrion

I sighed. Okay, so Dom hated my guts already. Good foundation for a friendship. I shook my head and slipped into the woods, weaponless. We had a deer now at least, something to eat. Probably big enough to share with the others.

I slipped through the trees, looking for any signs of the elevator and every so often checking back to make sure I could still see the smoke from the fire. As long as I had that in site, I would be fine.

It was late and I was exhausted, but I forced myself to stay awake and keep searching for the others. My mind wandered back to what was said about beasts... A low, distant grumble sounded from far off and I shuddered. We needed weapons of some sort. I sighed and trudged on, forcing my fears aside.

"Is anybody out there?!" I shouted into the bushes. "We've got deer meat and we're willing to share!"

"We're here!" It was a female voice. I peered into the bushes.

"Well follow the sound of my voice then! I can't see you!" I shouted back.
Guuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurl.

got trans?

"No problem," I said to Kenndal, grinning. "Now, let's finish this food," I added.

I sat down on the ground with my legs crossed and my bag in my lap. I wasn't hungry in fact I was jumpy which was wierd for me. I sighed and laid back and stared at the sky wondering what the hell happened why was I chosen. "Hey are you going to eat?" Someone shouted.
"You are without a doubt, the worst pirate I've ever heard of."

"But you have heard of me."

"Sounds like a plan!"

I walked over to the bright fire, and sat on a log.I looked up from staring at the fire,to look into the dark woods i had just came out of.Three dark figures ran across the open space.

My eyes grew wide as i screamed "PEOPLE..!!!" I pointed out were they ran from as i yelled.

*DOMINIQUE*

I watched as everyone else ate. I couldn't eat... i still felt sick from whatever chemical they knocked me out with. I sat down and put my head in my hands. I felt so sick. I couldn't show weakness, i had a feeling they were still watching us. Wren put her hand on my shoulder.
"Are you okay?" I lied, don't show weakness.
"I'm fine. Really, just a little dizzy is all." The i felt it. The curl in my stomach. "Be right back." I jumped to my feet and ran into the trees, no use spoiling every one else's meal.

I leaned over and began to empty the contents of my stomach. Ew, so gross. When i was done a low pitch growl alerted me that i wasn't alone. I looked up slowly. A huge hairy, beast. Four legs, huge teeth and sharp claws. I screamed and scrambled up a tree as it charges at me. It cut my leg as i did so. I whimpered in pain as i began to rip limbs off of the tree and throw them at him... but that seemed to make him angry. I screamed for help...
"Some body! Please! Help me!" I continually screamed as the beast growled and snapped at me, inches from my legs.

I heard someone scream for help. I jumped up and grabbed a dagger I had stuck into my bag. I ran into the forest and saw a girl stuck in a tree with a wolf below her. I whistled and the wolf turned towards me. To the girls surprise I cut my arm from the crease of my elbow to my wrist. "You want it honey." I cooed to the wolf. It ran at me and I stabbed it in its stomach. I ripped up and it fell dead. "You can come down now." I shouted to the girl in the tree.

DOMINIQUE

I climbed down slowly, careful off my leg.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you!" I looked at her arm and gagged, limping over to her. "Lets go wrap this up." She nodded and we headed back to the others. I sat down beside my bag and dug through it, finding an old shirt. I ripped it and wrapped it around her arm, covering the large cut.
"You didn't have to cut yourself like this. What would have happened if you would have hit a vain? You would have died. That's what. Don't scare me like that again." She nodded.

I stood up and fell back down, i had forgotten my leg, wait. No! I couldn't get hurt, injured people are useless, and useless people are disposed of. I Fought back tears, calming myself down. Breath, control the situation.
"We should build a shelter..." I looked over at the fire, which was dieing out. "And collect more wood. Fire is an essential, don't let it die out." I closed my eyes, hoping when i opened them every one would be gone, and that no one realized i was injured.

"I'll start building shelter," I said nervously. I ran towards the woods to collect wood.

As I collected, I realized it was very dark. Very very dark. And... alone.

DOMINIQUE

i opened my eyes, and surprisingly everyone was gone! I looked up at the sky, it was getting dark out, i shouldn't of sent them out. Now i felt bad, they could get killed! The danger level of the woods was proven high... by me. Stupidity... I was useless, and as soon as they realised it, they would dispose of me. It's basic survival, all i was, was another mouth to feed.

I wasn't useless! I was going to prove that! I stood carefully and limped into the woods, luckily no one was there to witness my weakness. I collected some fire wood, but as soon as i heard a branch snap i quickly got out of there. I dropped the wood in the fire and blew gently, feeding the fire. It quickly grew. That was good. The fire wouldn't die before the others could get back with some real wood. Wood that wood feed the fire for a while.

I looked up at the sky, the first star had came out, i mumbled quietly to myself.
"Star light, star bright, first star i see tonight. I wish i may, i wish i might. Have the wish i wish tonight. I wish we could all make it home safely." I looked around, i couldn't see anyone. I tended to the cut on my leg, it was pretty deep. I wrapped it up, then put on long pants, to cover it. I changed my top to, a longer sleeve top, that covered the bruises and the burn better.

That was something i wanted to keep to myself, I continuously let myself be vaunderable to men, letting them beat me for the thrill of it. It sickens me. My head was pounding. I watched the few clouds fade away. Into nothingness,i saw a larger cloud on the horizon, an angry dark cloud, a storm cloud, heading this way. It would come in the middle of the night, great just what we needed.

Name: Gemma

Age: 17

Gender: Female

Skills: Gemma is a wonderful writer, her main focus is poetry. Making people smile when they are about to cry. She does this because not only does she not like to cry she doesn't like it when other people cry.

Weaknesses: Her inability to show her 'bad' emotions. Like sadness and anger, it can often get her into sticky situations.

Likes: Hiking, nature, family, friends, writing, sometimes cooking.

Dislikes: The supervisors, carcasses (this keeps her from hunting well), math, crying, control freaks

Personality: Gemma has quite a brisk personality. Even when she feels like breaking down she can usually maintain a smile. She hates to cry, she says it makes her feel inferior. She is normally pretty outgoing but no where near obnoxious.

History: Lived just outside the village with her father and two older brothers. Her mother and younger sister died of Malaria 8 years ago. She is fairly comfortable talking about it. She has never had a boyfriend, partly because of disinterest with the local boys and partly because of the father and two older brothers I previously mentioned.

Other: Has always wanted to learn some kind of musical instrument, she figures she could turn her poems into lyrics and write songs. Has intense scarring on her left thing as a result of an animal attack when she was 15.

Up for love: Yes.

GEMMA

"Follow the sound of my voice, I can't see you!" he shouted back at me.

"No, you follow mine. I'm stuck!" I called into the trees.

I heard him laugh, "Well say something more, I need a voice to follow."

"Like what?" I asked.

He laughed again, "I don't know, tell me about yourself."

"Um okay," I said, "My name is Gemma and I was taken out of my warm bed in the middle of the night by werd men. They told me I was 'chosen' and rushed into a helicopter. After a long ride I was dropped off in the middle of no where and told to 'survive'. Somehow in surviving I got my foot stuck in a log. Fun hey?"

"Sounds sort of like another story I know." he smiled, coming into veiw.

"Oh yeah?" I asked, "I'd like to hear that story, but first, help."
