DOMINIQUE

Oh my god. What just happened. I ran over to tarrion and helped him up. Dimitri left, and quite frankly i was TERRIFIED of him. Wren came over and helped to. I stepped back so she could be closer to him. She smiled at him, then looked concerned.
'What's his problem?" I swallowed hard.
"I-I don't know." I was fighting back sobs now. Tarrion looked up at me. Smiling, couldn't he see what i saw?

Wren so did like him. I could tell. I may be nieve and inexperienced with guys, but it was as plain as day. I peered into the trees, Dimitri was no where to be seen, thank god.

Dimitri

I woke up, I sat there, and I felt empty. What I had done made me sick, even for what I have done in the past. I sat there for a good ten minuutes before I came back to my senses. I thought to myself, this is going to be hard. I ran long and hard for hours before I circled back into camp. I was immediatly glared at by almost everone, and then there backs turned on me. I went to Tarrion, "Tarrion, can I speak with you, alone". Dominique turned and glared hard. But Tarrion resisted not.

I glared at him, but went. "What the hell was that for?" I hissed. "All I did was laugh at Shalo...she's got her talon stuck in a tree-"

"That's what you were laughing at?!" Dimitri turned around.

I nodded. "Umm, yeah." I wanted to slug the creep, but I resisted. I disdained him.

I looked up at Tarrion as he and Dimitri walked away. Wren came and sat beside me.
"You okay?" I swallowed hard. My head was pounding.
"I'm scared Wren." I lifted my sleeve, revealing the large burn. It stung in the cold air. Wren gasped,
"What happened?" I shuddered and held back sobs.
"False love." There was a moment of uncomfortable silence.
"A guy did that to you?" I nodded, and started sobbing.
"I'm scared Wren." She wrapped her arms around me, trying to comfort me. It was useless, i was stupid and nieve, thinking a man could really love me. I was to ordinary. To weak.

Dimitri

I felt like a total creep, and the biggest jerk alive. I wondered if that's what everyone thought? I apologized profusely to Tarrion the whole way back. When we walked back into camp, all eyes were on us. To show that we had "made up" (so, I thought) I gave Tarrion a nice long hug. He muttered something under his breath, and I let go. Then they cheered and whistled. "Thank you, Thank you", I said. "But now lets catch us some food, and make a more perminant shelter". I said. Everyone agreed, and we got right to work.

they man hugged and looked like they made up... i hope. I was still keeping a distance from Dimitri. I wandered off into the woods, i would search for food, that's basically the only thing I'm any good for. I found wild cucumbers... perfect!

I took off my sweater, using it as a basket. I picked most of the cucumbers, every one was probably sick of meat. Then i noticed a berry bush, raspberries. I was on a good luck spree today... not considering what happened earlier. I kept going farther and farther, the solitude was nice. At least i could get away from the guys. They were creeping me out. Scaring me even.

I found a creek, but had nothing to carry water in. good luck dies fast around here. I put my sweater down, looking into the creek. It was so calm, the water was hardly moving. I could see my face, tear stained. I washed it off in the creek. Back to square one, mustn't show weakness.

"I suppose I should go get Shalo out of her little predicament," I muttered, staring at the poor bird. She was screaching at me to come save her. Poor thing. "Then again I have no clue how I'm gonna get her."

Dimitri piped up. "I'll get her for you," he offered.

I really didn't want his help, just one more thing to add to the traits of Mr. Wonderful. "Whatever," I grumbled, trying to hide my disapointment behind a smile of false gratitude. I would risk scarring my ego for the sake of my bird.

I watched Dimitri scale the tree. It didn't look quite so easy to him. Probably the tight abs getting in the way. I thought bitterly. Of course this meant I was better than him at something.

He helped Shalo out, and she didn't take kindly to him. She pecked at his hand and screached in his face. I had to work hard not to start laughing. Glad somebody shared my distaste. When he finally managed to get her unstuck, I whistled and held out my arm. She flew over and landed gracefully. She didn't seem injured. I muttered my thanks to Dimitri and ruffled Shalo's feathers.

I leaned in closer to the creek. My eyes were still red. I slipped and fell in, great, now i was wet. I stood, the creek was pretty shallow, it only went to my thighs. I climbed out, and saw a squirrel helping himself to MY berries. Great my luck was turning again. Into bad luck. Sigh. My head was still pounding, as i tried to get rid of any thoughts. But my mind kept wandering back to what had happened.

I Shooed the squirrel away and picked up my sweater. He didn't manage much to take much. I headed back to camp. Hoping everyone would be happy with what i found. As i neared the camp i saw Dimitri climbing down the tree, Great. I would just leave the food and grab my pot, that way i could get water. I saw Tarrion and Shalo a the bottom of the tree. Where was every one i wanted to be here?

I set my sweater down and grabbed my pot and turned around,at the same time they both called out.
"Dominique!" I shuddered and turned around.

Tarrion

"Dominique!" I cried out in sink with Dimitri. I frowned, taking a deep breath. Dimitri was really starting to get on my nerves. That and the fact that there was no way I could compete with a guy like him. Mr. Wonderful over here was perfect. I would have to dig up his weakness and expose it.

I shot a glance at him, but he didn't seem to notice. Poor Domi looked frightened, and she was drenched. I took a few steps over to her, still keeping a space between us; just to show that I respected her need for personal space. "What happened?" I asked.

"Fell in the stream. It was shallow, I'm fine," she muttered, shifting uneasily on her feet.

I gave her a quick smile, the kind that my parents claimed could win over any heart. "Well, I'm glad to hear you're okay. What've you got there?" I craned my neck to get a peek at whatever treasure she had in her sweater.

She beamed. "Rasberries and wild cucumbers."

"Woo! Finally something that's not meat!" My smile widened and I debated whether or not offering my hand was a good idea. I shot a quick glance at Dimitri, who didn't look at all happy with me. Good. I decided it was a better idea not to act all escort-like and simply walked beside her.

*jem i kinda pulled every one back to the tent sleeping cause i felt bad cause you were all falling behind*

DOMINIQUE

I kept my burnt arm out of view and my good arm had the pot in it. I wasn't about to take his hand, both of these guys terrified me. They had friking issues! Especially Dimitri. Why did he punch tarrion in the first place, we all agreed that we needed to work together, and get along. These two were making it harder for every one.
"I'm fine, im going back to the creek to get water to boil. Or we will all face dehydration." It sounded a little snappy, but i turned and took off anyways.

I couldn't wait to get back to the creek. It was so peaceful, not considering when i fell in. I filled the pot with water, it took the strength from both my arms just to get it back out of the creek. Now how was i supposed to get it back to camp! I sighed. I would go ask one of the guys for help. My leg was starting to hurt again, and my head. I felt like i had fallen out of a tree or something.

I got closer to camp as my leg turned numb. Great, now i was wet, tried and sore. I didn't even check to see if anyone was there.
"Can someone come help me? I can't lift the pot." I begged to myself, please not tarrion or Dimitri!

Dimitri

I was able to see Dominique, struggling with that heavy pot. However I have noticed the last couple days that she has tried her best to stay away from me. I looked at her, and left her. It took literally all my strength to resist helping her. I went over to the other side of camp. "Dimitri go split wood, so we can have a decent shelter", Tarrion scolded. I didn't want anymore trouble, so I split wood dawn until dusk. I gave my self two hours, to help build our bunker. I found a spot on the open plains where I could drill to find a hard like substance. It was weather proof. So three hours of the day I gathered the substance, It was soft clay, then hardened into concrete. I came back to camp and everyone was by the fire. I finished putting the last couple logs on the structure. It was magnificent, but still I was not satisfied. I layed about three layers of the soft clay on the shelter. In the morning I would get more. I walked back to camp, and all eyes were on me. "It is finished, if you want we can sleep in it tonight". "I built another fireplace right next to the window". Tarrion got up and shoved me really hard. I stumbled backwards, but maintained my footing. "Mr.Perfect yet again amazes all of us, isn't it funny how he can do what none of us can". Tarrion screeched. "I don't want any trouble with you Tarrion,I.." I was cut off. He shoved again. "LISTEN TO ME, YOU DONT WANT TO GET ME UPSET, THINGS COULD GET REALLY UGLY, REALLY FAST." I tried to remain calm. Domi stepped right in front of Tarrions punch. Dominique flew back right into my arms. I layed her down next to the fire, because she was knocked out cold. Tarrion struck again, and I parried, then striking. I pounded him in the chest, stomach, and the eye. He managed to hit me in the stomach to, but I think it caused more damaged to his fist than my abs. I restrained him and struck a pressure point, making him loose control of his body functions. Ever since I had come to the Island, I had been doing the hard labour. I had become even stronger. My arms looked like tree trunks, and my legs looked even bigger. Tarrion finally regained movement in his legs and managed to sulk back to the campfire. I went to, I went to check on Dominique. She was bleeding, but not severely. I took my shirt off and dabbed away. The others helped, asking me what to do. No one looked at Tarrion. We lit a fire near the window of the shelter, and we brought her inside. I lay her sleeping bag down and wrapped her up in it. "I think its best if we all get some sleep now, I will check on her during the night".

GEMMA

Just when you think the camp was finally quieting down there is always something that riles it up again. What was up with Tarrion today, he has always been so peaceful and nice. Dimitri's presence has really taken a toll on him.

"Hey," I said, walking over to where he was sitting. "Are you okay? What happened back there? I never took you for that kind of guy..."

"I'm not, I never have been. I would love to say that was a mistake and I wish I could take it all back, but I can't. I don't know what came over me but it felt almost good, not the inflicting pain part, the taking control." said Tarrion.

"Well, I am glad you are taking control," I chuckled, "Just maybe try and tone down the physical stuff?"

TARRION

"I hate him you know," I muttered. Gemma sighed.

"I know you do, but you hurt Domi in the process."

Tears welled up in my eyes. I still couldn't believe that I had done anything like that. I had never hurt anybody in my entire life, what was wrong with me? "She'll hate me now, forever. I'm afraid of Dimitri using her, Gemma. Like the others did."

"Well, I want you to get back to yourself, okay? I miss Tarrion," she said, smiling.

Ah Gemma, what would we all do without her? "Most certainly." I raised my right hand. "I solemly swear, with Gemma as my witness, to never lash out in violence again." A smile crept across my lips.

"Good. Now, every Mr. Wonderful has a weakness. I want you to stop trying to find Dimitri's. Got it?"

I frowned. "Fine. If I uncover it by accident, you can't expect me not to use it against him though. Be careful around him, I've got a feeling that a guy like him would try to pick up as many girls as possible." It sounded stupid, even to me, but you never could be sure.
