ALIRICIA
I groaned and rolled over. The rain had stopped, but I was drenched. There was something in the trees. I shot up, grabbing my sword. Mist was already growling at my side. It's probably just a deer Ali, calm down. I told myself.
No, it wasn't a deer. Go figure, it was yet another person. Another person being from the other tribe. I rolled my eyes; they seemed to like running into me. I followed him quietly, making sure not to be too loud. Stop! Was my silent demand.
He did, leaning against a tree, panting. "Wh-who's there?" he demanded between breaths.
I stepped into view, Mist still growling at my side. "Considering your on our land, I'll be giving the orders." I was grinning, I just couldn't help it. I was still in much too good a mood from the earlier storm and my dreaming.
"Fine by me. Dimitri." He straightened out and I shifted uneasily on my feet.
"Do you know Charlie and Taylor?" I asked absently, motioning for him to follow.
"Well, I suppose so. Why?"
I chuckled. "They're also with us. You men seem to have a knack for running into me." I cleared my throat. "Aliricia, the despicable," I muttered, stroking Gash's head. For once he was on my shoulder rather than intertwined annoyingly around my knee.
