I started to pace my feet hitting the ground one after another Tam and Iris followed

me. "What are you doing?" Charlie asked. I looked up my eyes blazing and fire flickering

between my fingers. "What does it look like I'm doing? I'm pacing." I snapped my voice

cold and hard. I turned away still pacing trying to rein in my temper. I bit my lip

drawing blood still pacing. I gulped in a huge breath of air and thinking ice blew it at

the trees in the forest and the ones closet to the age froze and the leaves dropped. I

smirked slightly and walked through the village into the pre-frozen forest still deep in

thought Tam and Iris still following me. I turned back into the village still pacing my head down.
"You are without a doubt, the worst pirate I've ever heard of."

"But you have heard of me."

I chewed on the inside of my cheek nervously. In all honesty, I really didn't hate Charlie. Not exactly the kind of person I wanted to spend hours with on end, but he wasn't so bad. I was just very unlikable. Now Taylor was here, too and I was going to have a breakdown.

"Gher, walk with me," I said, gesturing for her to follow me. "Koda, keep those two in check for a couple of minutes if you don't mind. I'll be back soon enough."

Koda glared at me, but didn't refuse.

I shook my head, I needed to stop with the whole bossy act. I was making even more enemies than I had before. "Gher, is it just me or am I extremely dislikable in every aspect of life?" I asked her when we were out of earshot.

She sighed. "You're not unlikable, it's just that it can be difficult to get used to you."

Ah, so that's what it was huh? "Well, that's not really what I came out here for. I wanted to ask you what we should do with Taylor and Charlie." I ran a finger over Gash's back. I hadn't realized that Mist had been beside me the whole time and I rubbed her head affectionatly.

"I thought you already made that decision."

I shook my head. "I don't know... Maybe it would be best if we held both of them or released both of them. Maybe gave them a choice." I shrugged. "Besides, I know you like Taylor quite a lot." I smirked, it was the truth. Her and Taylor were meant for eachother. Something I doubted I'd ever experience with a guy. I wasn't about to screw it up for them.

"So Koda," I smiled once Ghera and Aliricia had gone. "Fancy having another guitar lesson?"

Koda shrugged. "Why not?"

I couldn't help but notice Taylor mutter something under his breath. Apparently, I was 'flirting'. He thought I was, anyway. I was offering Koda a guitar lesson, not asking him to make out with me. Honestly. Taylor was a dude with some real issues sometimes.

As I turned around, I froze. The tent had been burnt down. I gritted my teeth. If my guitar had been wrecked, I was going to kill this stupid tribe. My guitar was all that I had left of my mother. I was about to attack Koda, when I noticed a small, battered guitar lying on the floor ahead of me. Relief swept over my body like a rash.

"You'r lucky that wasn't burnt," Taylor said, nodding at my guitar.

"Tell me about it!" I laughed picking it up. "You need all the practice you can get, mate. You aren't really a natural at this." I smiled, turning to Koda.

Koda simply shrugged, obviously agreeing with me. He wasn't to bad looking, come to think of it. Plus, he was from the enemy tribe. That only made him more appealing.

~Koda~

I took the guitar with a laughg, holding it awkwardly and attempting to hold it in the way I'd seen Ali and Charlie do. Position mastered, or so I hoped, I strummed the guitar clumsily. A pretty appalling sound came from the instrument.

Charlie smirked. "Here, you're holding it wrong." Damn. Thought I'd nailed that... Oh, hang on, he was crawling closer. Very close, in fact, as he adjusted my hold on the guitar, and I could feel his breath on my neck.

I held in a sigh as he finally pulled away, though whether it was out of relief or disappointment, I couldn't tell. Umm. Okay, that was a weird thought. Obviously it was relief, right? I tried to push these thoughts away as I starting playing again.

GHERA

"Gher, walk with me." Aliri said motioning for me to follow her. She waited until we were out of earshot and then she asked, "Gher, is it just me or am I extremely dislikable in every aspect of life?"

I laughed and replied, "You are not unlikeable, it's just that it can be difficult to get used to you."

She gave me a doubtful look and changed the subject. She said, "Well, that's not really what I came out here for. I wanted to ask you what we should do with Taylor and Charlie."

I thought for a moment and finally said, "I thought you already made that decision."

She shook her head. Did Aliri seriously doubt herself? "I don't know... Maybe it would be best if we held both of them or released both of them. Maybe gave them a choice." she stated. Then she smirked and added, "Besides, I know you like Taylor quite a lot."

"Hey now, don't get ahead of yourself. I have known the guy for a whole of one day, don't jump to conclusions." I said. It was then I started to think, Aliri was right, sort of. I did like him, probably not as much as she thought I did. But there was definitely a little there.

She laughed, "I know you too well Ghera, I know your lying. You are going red! Ha!"

I knew I was blushing, I could feel it, she didn't need to point it out. "Ah, fine, I do, a little bit. But I swear Ali, you tell anyone and your dead." She scowled and I elbowed her playfully to show her I was kidding. "Race ya' back!" I laughed already sprinting back towards the village. Anything to get out of talking about this anymore.

I laughed and rolled my eyes, taking off after Ghera. Woo! 5-year-old moment right there. Nobody knew how much I needed that one. "Cheater!" I shouted. Yep, definately a 5-year-old moment.

We got back, Ghera making it just before myself. I raised an ammused eyebrow at the scene infront of me, breathing heavily. Koda was strumming Charlie's guitar clumsily. Charlie was giving him this creepy look that would have made me uncomfortable. Taylor was leaning against a lone tree, arms crossed, chuckling.

"I'm in a much better mood now and I'm beginning to doubt myself. I'm going to let Ghera decide what to do with you," I announced, grinning.

Ghera shot me a surprised glance. "You're what?!"

I nodded. "It's up to you hon. Do they stay or do they go? Choice or force?" It was sort of a last-minute decision, but I had ruined enough lives for my liking.

Koda raised an eyebrow at me. Taylor and Charlie just looked throughly ammused. Ammused or annoyed, whichever. I beamed inoccently at them all before focusing on Ghera. Come on Gher, I am so lost here. I have ruined a few too many lives already. Don't bail on me here. After all, you are the only one I trust. Wooh, long message.

She didn't look thrilled, but she didn't look truly upset either. I quickly added to that. Oh, and I'm not going to tell anybody about Taylor. That's your own descision.

Charlie was looking at us like we were insane. "Mind filling me in on the creepy silence?"

I chuckled and shook my head. Transferring thoughts ma dear.

His brow furrowed. Now Taylor looked confused. Heh... I seemed to have a knack for this kind of thing.

GHERA

"Mind filling me in on the creepy silence?" said Charlie, looking fairly annoyed.

"U-uh-uh," I stuttered.

Ali laughed, "Ghera here better make up her mind, the longer she takes, the longer we all take."

"Ali! I can't" I screetched. Seriously, what was I going to do? Deep down, I know Ali wanted me to keep them here, but I wasn't sure. If they stayed here would all of the control fall on me? I know that sure wasn't what I wanted. Would Ali and Charlie still be at eachother's throats every waking moment? I know that sure wasn't what I wanted either. Also, what would Taylor think if I kept them here? Would I seem like some sort of desperate freak? Again, I know that sure wasn't what I wanted either. On the other hand, if I let them go none of that would happen, but what would? Would they go running back to their cheif and tattle? Would that make the feud worse? Would they keep their mouths shut for now but use it as blackmail? I don't know. One thing I do know though is I don't do well under pressure. This moment now was a textbook example.

I continue to pace hissing profanities under my breath. I had no idea what was going on nor what the frick we were going to do about it. I inhaled and exhaled a jet of flame into the sky. I did this over and over again still pissed as heck.

"Sel! Could you please stop it!" I hissed. Her pacing and overuse of powers was driving me nuts. She would pass out soon if she didn't give it a rest. Rather than waiting for an answer I turned to Ghera. "Can't make up your mind huh?"

She frowned and directed her worries to me. [/i] I stink under pressure and you know it [/i] Was her last sentence. Long tirade. I was dizzy for a second or two, but it wore off.

"Fine. Dears, for now you're both staying here," I decided, grinning. "Only for now. If you act decently," I shot a glance in Charlie's direction, smirking, "you will be free to go eventually."

Selene hadn't stopped pacing, but at least she wasn't over-extending use of her powers. I walked up to her and grabbed her shoulders, shaking her. "Stop. It. Now!" I hissed.

I took a deep breath after Ali shook me. "Sorry just worried." I apologized meekly. "It's ok just don't over extend yourself ok Sel?" Ali said. I nodded smiling slightly. "Thanks Ali."

"Can't make up your mind huh?" smirked Ali.

I stink under pressure and you know it. I shot over.

"Fine. Dears, for now you're both staying here," decided Ali. "Only for now. If you act decently," she said and turned to grin at Charlie "you will be free to go eventually."

"What!? Are you kidding me? Ghera just let us go. Don't be evil like your little friend over there." said Charlie. Was he really begging? Close to it.

I released Selene and walked slowly towards Charlie. "I'm dead serious. I would let you go, but this is oh so much more ammusing. Besides, you're not done teaching me guitar." I smiled my every-famous bittersweet smile.

"You expect me to finish teaching you now?" He crossed his arms and glared at me.

"Yes, yes I do. Once again I apologize for being unlikeable, but it's just how I roll." I turned to view the village. It was still in a frenzy. People shouting about the helicopter thing, the explosion, relocating the village. "Only thing is that somebody has to warn your village."

I sighed and sat down on the damp ground. The rain had turned to a drizzle and I was feeling refreshed. A thunder storm would have done me much better, but oh well. I rested my head on somebody's legs. I had no clue who it was, but it didn't matter.

GHERA

"Charlie, Taylor, I'm sorry. I don't know. I just don't know." I apologized. I needed sometime to think, but where to go? The village was all over the place and still in a frenzy. I had an idea, the stream. I turned around and started to walk away. I gave Taylor and Charlie one last relentful glance. "I'm sorry" I whispered though I knew no one heard it. Why did I feel so bad?

The stream was as relaxing to me as ever, if anything it was quieter than ever. It was easy for me to bury myself deep in my thoughts. Suddenly there was a sharp crack. I jumped up, defenses ready, then I saw the flash. It was only lighting, and then it started to pour, Aliri would be happy, she loves thunder showers. Despite then rain I decided to stay, I was already wet and it was fairly warm. Besides, I knew I would be miserable if I went back. Even way out here I could hear the panic going on back at the village. Being alone for a while suited me fine.
