I felt something inside me tense I didn't trust this fey I had a feeling she was just like Keli. I walked over to them where Gabe was trying valiantly to get away. I laid a hand on her wrist and my Sight intensified there were fey everywhere. It was as if they had all suddenly donned glamours. "Excuse Gabe would you mind taking me home I'm getting kind've tired." I said smiling at him. "Sure." He said stepping out of Loriettas grip.
"You are without a doubt, the worst pirate I've ever heard of."

"But you have heard of me."

Lorietta:

Thinking fast I placed myself in between them and linked arms with them both. "I'll help you. I should probably get some sleep too since I have a test tomorrow. And I'm not taking no for an answer because I do not want to walk out there alone." The last part was true. Being beautiful did have its advantages but it also had its downsides. There's so many creepers out there just waiting it's not even funny.

Lillian:

Outside the club, I was leaning against the front passenger door of a police car while my roommate was talking to the police. What a way to end the night, huh? I thought sourly.

I yawned and recrossed my legs, glaring at the back of the male cop. He was enjoying himself, toying with my friend while the other cop just stood there and watched.

I ground my teeth together and uncrossed my arms as I noticed the faerie boy standing way too close to my friend. As I watched, he turned towards me and grinned. I tried to ignore him but we both knew that he knew I saw him.

"Damn it," I muttered and pushed away from the cop car. "Hey!" I call out and the cop doing nothing looked my way. "Can I go now?"

She wandered over. "Sure," she said and grinned. "But you're friend stays."

I groaned. "But...she's sort of sick. I need to get her home so she can take her pills."

She sighed and called the other cop over. "Apparently she's sick," the cop told her partner, gesturing to my roommate. "Needs her pills."

The male cop sighed and shook his head. "Fine, you two can go," he said. I sensed a but. "But you're not going anywhere next time."

I nodded and called my roommate other, ignoring the glances the two cops exchanged. "Come on," I muttered and pulled my friend along with me. We were passing the club's exit when three people bumped into us. A boy, a girl and a female faerie. "Ouch," I snapped.

"Sorry," I muttered to the girl we had passed. Selene shot me a significant look. If we could stay here for a while, rambling, maybe the Fey would get bored.

"Hi! Who're you? I'm Selene," she said hurriedly.

"I'm Gabe," I said.

"Lillian." She looked bemused. I didn't blame here. But we had to somehow get ourselves to not go with this Fey.

"What are you doing here?" I asked, suddenly realizing the police cars.

"I was wondering the same thing." I said slightly uncomfortable. I saw her eyes flick over to Keli and I realized she had the Sight as well. I mouthed turning my head so Lorietta and Keli couldn't read my lipsWe can see them too

I shrugged. "Me and my roommate we getting harrased by the cops," I replied. "They tried to arrest her for...whatever it was."

I turned to check on my roommate. She was staring at the fey boy leaning against a wall. I jerked on her arm to remind her not to stare.

"Look, I'm getting the hell out of here before the cops decide to take us in," I muttered, glancing around to make sure they weren't close.

"Ok, mind if we come with?" I asked. Okay, I was desperate to get away from Keli.

"Okay, gotcha."

Keli knew that she could see him, but, according to what I could see in his mind, he thought I was just an innocent guy that she had coerced into helping her out for a reason that he, or I, didn't know. I yawned and purposely stretched out my arms and hit Keli on the nose. The Fey, angrily, stalked off, thinking, Stupid humans.

Selene looked very, very relieved. "Let's get you home," I said with a laugh.

"Sure, you can come," I said and then turned my attention to the fey girl with them. "She can't though."

I grinned and spun on my heel, then started walking back towards my appartment, roommate, Gabe and Selene in tow.

I grinned. I knew that she was really going to bring us to drop of Selene, but she had gotten rid of the Fey girl pretty fast.

As we walked along, we picked up her roomate.

I smiled slightly as we walked. "Nice job Lilian." I said smirking. She shrugged. "No problem." She said.

I stumbled when my roommate lost her balance. Oh great, she'd been drinking then.

"Here," Gabe said and slid one of her arms over his shoulders. "She drunk?"

I nodded and glanced around, noticing a few fey following us. I met Gabe's eyes and he nodded. He knew we were being followed.

"My place is pretty safe," I said. "Come on, this way."

I led them off down a side street to the two story apartment block just around the corner. Home. I checked on my friend. She was muttering about faeries. I wished she wouldn't. The were going to know if she kept it up.

I sighed and then stood still letting the fey catch up with me. I pretended that I was stretching and smacked several of them in the face and then started to walk so I was caught up with everyone else. I allowed myself a brief smile as we stepped into Lillians apartment.

We reached the house and went inside. Some Fey stood outside, but they made no move to go in.

"Hey, thanks," I said to Lillian. "You're a lifesaver."

"It's what anyone would do," she said.

"I don't think so," I said, shrugging.

For in everything it is no easy task to find the middle ... anyone can get angry—that is easy—or give or spend money; but to do this to the right person, to the right extent, at the right time, with the right motive, and in the right way, that is not for everyone, nor is it easy; wherefore goodness is both rare and laudable and noble.
