Does anybody read these? :D

Don't have much time to put together a detailed stats report, so here's the basis run-down:

Visits: 44,073
Pageviews: 737,641
Avg. Time on Site: 16 minutes, 27 seconds
Posts: 15,462

In terms of pageviews, April 2010 was the busiest month ever for YWS. And once again, the most popular areas were the front page, blogs, literary forums, community forums, and storybooks in that order. The most popular topic (by views) was List of Female Gender Stereotypes. The most popular literary topic was Us Pirates We're Hardcore ( a Tik Tok by Ke$ha parody).

Top 10 Countries
United States
United Kingdom
Canada
Australia
New Zealand
Philippines
India
Ireland
South Africa
Puerto Rico (perhaps soon to be an American state?)

Top 10 Cities
London
Sydney
Chicago
Christchurch, New Zealand
Vancouver, Canada
New York City
Manchester, UK
Brisbane, Australia
Auckland, NZ
Wellington, NZ

That's right. New Zealand now has three cities in the top 10. Kind of astonishing when you consider that only 4.2 million people live in New Zealand (that's lower than the population of London, Sydney, and New York City).

Browser Share
Internet Explorer: 38%
Firefox: 30%
Safari: 15%
Chrome: 14%
Other: 3%

IE's share has been declining for quite some time on YWS and is now below 40%. In fact, the share of all browsers on YWS have been declining except for one: Chrome. In fact, Chrome's share has increased by 50% since January.

D'aw, Bristol got knocked off the top ten cities. But glad to see we're still holding our own at Number Eight!

(Also, Chrome rocks).
