*going to bed now so you can make up whatever questions you like, so long as they're relevant*
Elizabeth: "There will come a moment when you will have a chance to show it. To do the right thing." Jack: "I love those moments. I like to wave at them as they pass by."
I groaned. Stitches and surgery...two things I officially despised.
"Hold still boy!" the doctor hissed at me. He muttered something about prisoners and the uselessness of saving them.
"Watch how you talk about him," Aris grolwed.
The doctor stopped working to look up at her. "Arlene," I said warningly. The doctor continued his work and I groaned again. Aris ran a hand over my forehead.
Aris was covered in my blood, but it didn't seem to phase her much. It phased me...it made me realize how close I was to dieing. If the doctor wasn't careful I'd be gone before tomorrow. I let a tear slip down my cheek. I no longer cared if anybody saw me cry. I had good enough reason.
I closed my eyes, trying to think about what would happen after we escaped. We would have to go somewhere safe...somewhere they would never find us. I smiled to myself and rested my head in Aris' lap.
Selene I felt my hold on my emotions breaking and my emotions started flicking like the guards flicking their whips. Hatred, anger, pain, horror depression flick flick flick. Ever changing and I felt myself shaking and my control breaking. If I lost Tar nothing would hold me back. I would kill anyone that got in my way for revenge. I had never felt this way since mom and dads death. I felt ready to kill and break and rip and tear anything to get out. I wanted to scream to fight to kill anything anything for relief for Tar for freedom for fang for my parents. I gritted my teeth and curled my hands into fists my finger nails digging into my palms until blood dripped down my fingers on to the floor and I smiled a sadistic twisted smile. I smiled at the princess the same twisted and deadly and sadistic smile. "Now please start asking me your questions while I am still sane." I said sitting my back against the wall. I never broke my gaze only blinking every now and then and the princess shifted uncomfortably. I crossed my legs and looked pointedly at her.
"You are without a doubt, the worst pirate I've ever heard of."
I watched the surgery, my heart pounding in my chest. As they worked on Tarrion, I realized this was his last stand. If he didn't get through this... we would never see him again. If he didn't get through this... I closed my eyes, close to a breakdown.
"Be alright," I whispered, as if that would make it happen. "Be alright, for us, please, Tar."

"Be all right. Be alright for us, please Tar," Aris whispered.
I wanted to say I'd be fine, the surgery would be succesful, the blood coughing would stop and I'd be better by tomorrow. I wanted to, but what was the point? It would have been a big, fat lie.
I opened my eyes, if the doctor was listening to her, he would be getting suspicious. I managed to smile, less weakly than before. I would do anything to pull through this, if only for Selene and Aris. "Where's..." I was going to ask her where Tigger was, but bad idea right there.
The doctor eyed me suspiciously, but kept working.
Taeryn stood, watching Tarrion. She didn't have any pity in her eyes for Tar.
"Why do you look so nervous?" she shot at me.
"I- I-" I struggled for an excuse. "I don't like blood much, ma'am."
"Then go," she said. "You, guard, lead her to her chamber."
"No- I didn't mean-" they lead me out.

I opened my mouth to protest, but I would give her away. Taeryn strode back to Selene's cell to torture her with her questions.
I closed my eyes and gritted my teeth against the pain. "Could you please take it easy?" I hissed.
The doctor glared at me. "You're lucky I'm here at all boy. I don't see why I have to treat you at all."
I glared back at him, not removing my gaze. It was a useful tactic out here. The doctor sighed and looked away, focusing on his work.
I let my mind wander, trying to ignore the pain. Obviously these people had never heard of antistetic. I doubted I would make it through the night. Unless it was night...I couldn't be sure. I wanted Selene with me one last time; just incase I did die, but I knew that Taeryn wouldn't be keen to accept my request. The woman was stubborn.
"Selene," I groaned, trying to sound as pathetic as I felt. I prayed Taeryn would take pity on me, just this once. Nothing from the other cell. "For crying out loud I'm dieing! Just let me see her one last time! Please!" I shouted, despite the pain. I just wanted to see her again.
*I'm sooo bad at making up questions >.< Let's just skip that bit out*
~Taeryn~
I sighed, unable to think of any further questions to ask Selene. So far she'd been co-operative enough, no singing, at least, and her answers had supported my theories. From what she'd told me, there was still a group of rebels, and no, they weren't planning anything (though I suspected this was a lie), except to rescue the rightful queen, Thaylea. Even though my mother was the rightful queen, of course. Stupid rebel ideas, nothing more.
Selene had appeared to know nothing about Rajun's whereabouts, either. Shame. Treason would have been the perfect excuse to slaughter him on the spot when I next saw him.
Selene stayed silent for once, and I considered her. Obviously some sort of reward would be appropriate, especially if I ever wanted her to cooperate again. I sighed. "Come on," I murmured. "The surgery should be finished now. You can come and see him."
*I thought the surgery was just to sort out the wound, right?*
Elizabeth: "There will come a moment when you will have a chance to show it. To do the right thing." Jack: "I love those moments. I like to wave at them as they pass by."
I smiled and almost started crying when a guard came into the cell. It was the same who had warned me about Talen's tactics...the ones that so far hadn't come true. Thank God. He smiled at me and helped me up gently, placing my arm over his shoulder. "You're a lucky one lad," he whispered.
I assumed he meant Selene. "I know."
He set me down carefully beside her and left. She knelt down beside me and I leaned over and kissed her on the lips, ignoring the pain. It didn't even matter anymore. "Oh thank God..." she murmered, almost crying.
I hugged Tar happy not caring about anything just happy that Tar was with me even if it was only temporary. I put my face in his chest careful of his stitches. "I love you." I said as quietly as I can. He grins at me and I smile tentavily back. I rub the palm of my hand absentmindedly and Tar took it and looked at the palm. "What happened?" He demanded. I yanked my hand out of his grip and looked at the palm. "I nearly lost it when you were in surgery I tried to keep myself in control by doing this trying to use the pain to keep me on track. I was so afraid I was going to lose you and I know that is still a risk." I said looking down still.
"You are without a doubt, the worst pirate I've ever heard of."
I stared at her hand for a moment before wrapping it in my own. "Sel, promise me you won't hurt yourself like that again." I kissed her forehead lightly.
"I-I won't."
I smiled and leaned against the wall for support. My head was still spinning, though not as badly as before. I averted my stare to Taeryn. "Thank you," I whispered before closing my eyes and burying my face into Selene's hair.
Come on guys, please hurry. I silently willed the others.
I followed the guard. I didn't want to have to leave but it seemed like proteesting would do me no good. It would just get me into more trouble.
"Could you- send a servant to me by the name of Kale?" I asked the servant in my room nervously. Trying to sound imperious, I added, "He's much better at cleaning."
Seeming relieved, the nurse raced out and brought him in. The moment the door closed, I fell into his arms and started sobbing out the story. "We need to get them-" I said, "And soon!"
When your life is based around the face of Sawyer from Lost you know you're officially obsessed. -- Join Isha's SB, the Shadows! And mine, Lament of Innocence! And LDR's, Dark Fey! And- ok, I'm going to shut up now.
I found myself whispering a prayer as quietly as I could but loud enough for Tar to hear. "Goddess please lend Kale,Tig and Aris the time they need to rescue us and protection from the guards and their all seeing eyes. Blessed be." I squeezed Tars hand gently and kissed his cheek. "You will live." I said my voice quiet yet firm and determined. He looked at me in surprise but I hugged him. "I thought I may have lost you once and I can't do that again. If I truly lose you." My voice broke and a sob escaped me.
"You are without a doubt, the worst pirate I've ever heard of."
She wanted me to live so badly. I decided that I obviously had to live. "Amen," I whispered into her ear, kissing her cheek lightly.
"Amen what?" Taeryn asked skeptically.
I had completely forgotten the girl even existed until this point. I looked up at her inoccently. "Amen I'm with Selene," I muttered, hoping she'd buy it. I turned back to Selene. "I'll live, if you promise me one thing," I whispered.
"What?"
I grinned. "After we're out of this stupid cell, we carry through our plans and then run away somewhere safe." I murmered so that Taeryn didn't hear.
"I really don't appreciate you two keeping secrets," Taeryn hissed.
"Just murmering our 'I love yous,'" I lied, kissing Selene's forehead.
