Hi! If you haven't already guessed, I'm new here. You can call me ZebraSkittles or Cassi, which ever you prefer. I have written a variety of short stories and poems, I just never found a place I trusted to post them. I'm trying to see if this site is a place where I can get help on writing and recieve other people's opinions. I believe in honesty so if you don't like it, don't lie. About my username, I'm just a random person. Thats about it.

I'm pretty sure you'll like it here at YWS. I can definitely say that it's a place you can trust to give you honest opinions; I don't think anyone is deliberately mean, but you'll always get some useful constructive criticism!

I hope that you like YWS, anyway. It's a really lovely place, and if you stick around you'll get some great friends.

So, why not tell us a little more about yourself? I'm assuming you like writing, but what do you write, exactly? Poetry, prose, huge novels? Or all of them?

Teehee! I have to admit, I kind of adore your username.

And yeah... unfortunately, people tend to tell you that your poem/story sucks if they think it does here, lol. Hopefully they'll be nice about it and give you some fabulous ideas for revision.

My favorite movies are Sweeney Todd, Transformers,Alice and Wonderland, And Finding Nemo. *is a disney freak*
And no. I'm not a a huge fan of ice cream, but I love cookies!
The Bestest book ever? I can't decide! Its a tie between The Witch & Wizard By James Patterson and The entire Maximum Ride series also by James Patterson.

I love writing poetry and short stories. I don't think i could ever write a huge novel, or at least right now.

If you ever want to write a novel, just for kicks, the time to do it is November. A lot of this site participates in something called "Nanowrimo" where you try to write a 50,000 word novel in a month. It's CRAZY. And often, the writing is really atrociously bad too, so that makes it a fun time for all!

There is actually a group about Disney somewhere on YWS, but I think it died.
