I can't have you

So I'm basically going to keep all of my art in one place now. I'll start out with this one, which I literally drew five minutes ago. I hope you enjoy my work. :)

The emphasis on this drawing is the hair. You can comment on the rest, but I drew this piece for the hair.

Image
Hopelessly in love

This drawing is all about the position. I know the legs are a bit awkward, but I just love this piece. <3

Ever had the best day of your life with the opposite (or same if that's what you prefer) sex? This is probably what you looked like.

Image
Ah, summer love

Goodness, some things just look so much better on paper. Ignore the lines by her head, ignore the brick she's sitting on, I didn't work on that as much.

So my first posted couple sketch. It's mediocre, but oh well... you try it! It's so hard to make their heads and eyes the same size. And I swear I redid his pants a million times. Finally I just decided to cut them off when I posted this online. It's a little... sexy? Am I allowed to use that word? lol

Upcoming topics include eyes, position, clothes (I'll be showing some of my designs) and couples.

Classy! (Or Creeper, if you want.)

That's so good. I like your style.

And, let's get right down to it.
Before you mentioned it, I loved the hair. Now that you say the emphasis is on that, I'm loving it.
Nose: Well, it's cute but it seems to give a slight older feel to the picture. I'm not sure if that's what you wanted, but from her stature, she seems younger than the nose suggests.
A little something I found about the hair :
Image In the circled area, the shading seems a bit shabby and doesn't give the depth you're trying. It'd be so much better if you fixed that.

Anyway, keep drawing. This is really good.
Cheers,
~Lava

awesome picture! That is amazing! I love the way you've drawn her, i can't draw faces from the side so  great! And the nose is kind of annoying me. Fix the big nose, and i'm sure it'll look fine. i'm a new fan!

Hey there Classy :)

I reckon that this is seriously good!
You said that your main focus was on the hair. I think that you've done the hair really well. You've actually made it look shiny by using the eraser. It looks really good!

I do agree though with lava. The shading in the area of the hair that lava circled does look a bit off. It shouldn't be too hard to fix though!

Like I said, this is really good!

I'll be looking out for more of your sketches, that's for sure!

Whoa! Sammi!

I had no idea you could draw so well. I'm jealous! I agree with the others that the nose seems a little big, though, but that shouldn't be anything you won't be able to fix.
Anyway, I like how glossy and clean the picture looks, as a lot of pencil sketches are very rough. You've got a nice style, so keep it up and I can't wait to see more!

Awesome! Yes, the hair on the first one is amazing. It's so glossy...I love your technique!
For the second one, I think you did very well with the position, which looks great. The shape of her body though is a bit awkward, especially her neck, which is a bit long.
Hope I helped. I'm looking forward to seeing more-

As the others have said, the nose needs to be fixed, but I also noticed an abnormal bump just on the neck line of her dress. See it? Right where her neck meets the cloth. Aside from that (and the strange shading that looks like eraser ghosts behind her wispy hair) it's a very nice picture.

For the second one, I must say it's not half as nice as the other. Her head is angled far too much, the shading is flat and the...erm...crotch area isn't done well. The cloth of her dress (or is it a towel?) should wrinkle there.

Classeh!

Off to numero 2 now.

Well, I agree with Jenth. The first is so much better. And as he said, there should be more wrinkles. Also; the right leg seems a lifted but too much. It seems unnatural.
I looked at myself in the mirror now, with my leg up, and
1. More wrinkles.
2. The leg shouldn't stretch out from her body. It should be more along the line of the thigh. It's really tough to sit that way, try it.

Neck: Well, it seems weird. Try giving it a curve as it reaches her face. It should help.

Hands: Very well done, especially the fingers.

Anyway, good work. Keep drawing.

So, Classy, you're a fantastic artist and you never told me D:

I'm going to work with you on the second of so you can improve it, it has a lot of potential. The other one is really lovely.

Alright, let's get started:

Image

I know all those weird lines are a little messy, but I did the best I could :P

The Black Lines:

Feet -

The foot there is turned the wrong way. It is positioned upwards rather then downwards, which would be the natural position. You want to straighten it out and make it face the other way. If you understand what I mean xD

Toes -

They're curled up too far. Even though your foot is properly positioned for her toes to face that way, they're curled up too far which give a slight appearance of dislocation.

Back Leg -

So where the black circle is is probably around where the knee is right? It looks awkward because her leg is out too far and a body can't natural be position in two directions are once. If you want it to look more natural it needs to face forward. The black line connected to the circle would be a good place to consider positioning it. But it needs to face forward so we see the front of the shin.

The Green Lines:

(These are little things I noticed about the picture itself that aren't major changes)

Shoulder -

It has a weird point to it. Unless she's deadly skinny, I don't think that point would be there. Round it out a little.

Side -

Her sides are really straight, no waist, stomach of chest. A little bit of an outline shading would fix that in a jiffy.

Leg -

No calf muscle whatsoever, even if you don't work out you still have a calf muscle that makes a slight bulge at the back and sides of your shin.

Really well done.

The first pic.... It's good, it's great actually. In fact To all those people who think the nose is too big...Well... what would Pinoccio think of that! hm!? My point is, the nose is fine, a person's nose can never be too big. If you were trying to emphasize the hair...well you didn't do enough justice (I'm so sorry but i mustn't lie :( ). You need to darken the part behind the girls head where its hanging...how can i explain this better, you're probably thinking i don't know what i'm talking about and that i should just shut up...well i'm only here to help... Any way the part where Lavabubbling circled , just above that is where i'm talking about, right there is where you need to start dark and as it flows out, you need to lighten it up.

Second Pic... Again it's good, but it isn't perfect. Nothing is darling, and so I would like to bring to the word of the day... MODELS. Look on the internet, look to your friend, anywhere with photos of people. A great man once told me that there is nothing to be ashamed of when using a photo as reference for a piece of your work, it's like make-up...it's only enhancing the natural beauty. To make my point any clearer, (you've probably heard this a lot already if you haven't...oh well!) The girl's figure is...awkward. OH! Gosh! Did I just go there?! Yes...Yes I did. Like i said before, it helps when you look off something. Gives you a basic outline. It's like putting together a puzzle, isn't it a bit easier when you have the cover of the puzzle box with you to look at and make sure you know what the end result is?

Pick numero THREE... Yes...sexy indeed. It's great...although the guy's butt needs a little less shaping...teehee. And the girls shoes...Well go look at a magazine at some girl shoes (this always helps me for ideas) and try and draw those. I really wish i had pictures to show you, but i'm pretty new to the site so i don't have a lot of stuff up yet. Now as to carry on, Everything elso is goodo!

Any questions? Well just PM me...
