Lydia:
I scratched my ear nervosly.
" Er..apologies from Lydia," I mumbled," didn't mean to laugh...at least not that hard." I smiled weakly and nudged Lance, all the while glaring at Peter. They both mumbled sorry.
" It's okay guys," she smiled. " What's this about the movies?"
" Oh! Were going to see Daybreakers, wanna come?" She shifted uncomfortably from foot to foot.
" Well, I don't know. I'm not really dressed-"
" You look fine," Lance spoke up, the edge of his mouth twitched upwards a bit," just come on! No ones judging, s'not not were going to a red carpet premire." She looked down at her shoes and shrugged her shoulders.
" I guess so," she whispered.
" Who's car are we going in," Peter spoke up.
" We could go in ours," I smiled while handing the keys over to him, but Lance snatched them back.
" How come he gets to drive," he hissed. I snatched them back
" Don't be a baby! Let's go."
Lance:
I fumed in the backseat of the car as Peter took my drivers position. Lydia was in her forever claimed shot gun seat and I was squished in the middle of Ollie and Emily. Finially, we reached the movie theatre and I filed out as quick as possible. When all neccisities were bought we quickly entered the movie, sitting in the back of course.
" This is gonna be fun," Lydia squealed. I shushed her and grabbed a fistfull of popcorn. Never thought I'd be movie watching with this group. Sighing, I sat back and shook my head.

"Sorry," I collided into someone hard. When I realized who I bumped into my smile turned upside down:It was Ollie

Don't get me wrong,I really didn't have anything against the guy. He just made me uneasy and Alexis was totally head-over-heels for; along with a million other girl. How could I ever compete.

"Oh... its you,"I muttered with distaste. Then I noticed the twins behind him,"Hey Lydia ,Hey Lance."

"Hey..."Ollie began a friendly conversation,"Where you headin' then?"

"Don't know," I shrugged."Where are you going?"

"Movies," Ollie smiled,"wanna come."

I opted the chance not to go with them, but I had no one really to hang with."Uh..."

"Come on Pete. The more the merrier," Lydia adorable face gleamed.

"Sure,"

When we passed a store Lydia is the first to notice Emily and whispers."Is that Emily?"

Ollie taps her on the shoulder,"Hey Emily."

"Um..."She said nervously ,"Yeah."

Lydia muttered something under her breath foul.I ignore it. Even I knew it was mean to talk about someone.

"I didn't know you worked at Spindle," Ollie asked, that gets a giggle out of her.

"Yeah...." she fidgeted with the bottom of her shirt nervously."I do. I know its terrible."

"Its pretty bad" Lydia blurted out and laugh,Lance of course join her.

Emily cheeks turned a beet red from embarrassment."You think that's bad" Ollie interjected,"I wash cars for a livin'. I even struggle at that I'm so thick! I mean seriously the Spindle is notin' compared to some of the cars tha' I failed to was."

That soon shut them up and wipe the smiles off their faces. My lips curled into the smile.

"Wow." That was all I could say in reply to Gwen's story. I couldn't even begin to comprehend losing someone that close in my life...it must have been awful.

"I'm so sorry," I said. "I can't imagine how hard it must have been, and still be for you." The thought struck me that it might be better for me to stop talking about the painful subject.

As Gwen suggested going for pizza, I seized the opportunity gratefully. "Sure! We could go for pizza, or the movies. Something fun!"

"Movies sound good!" Gwen said happily, and we started off.

As we walked, we talked, and I discovered that she was just about as much of a nerd as I was. Computers, math, homework - yep, it was like finding my twin.

I'm so glad I met her! I thought as we walked down the sidewalk. Seems like she's a really good friend.

A group of teens across the street caught my eye; that one girl who was talking loudly looked kind of familiar...oh, snap. Ollie, Emily, Peter, Lydia, and Lance, all standing together there! Before I could say anything to Gwen about taking a different route, they all piled into a car and drove off. I breathed a sigh of relief. I didn't think I could handle talking to them.

Gwen noticed my pause in conversation, and asked, "What's the matter?"

"Nothing," I said quickly. "How much farther to the theater?"

"Not much," she replied. "Shouldn't take more than ten minutes."

"Yay!" I said, smiling. It wasn't just the aspect of getting to know Gwen better; it was also the fact that the others would probably not be anywhere near the theater. After all, why drive if it was only ten minutes away?

Alison didn't seem to like those kids too much. I couldn't really imagine why, but then again, I'd never really met them before. And she didn't say why; she just seemed to stop all thought processes and stare anxiously.

They piled somewhat awkwardly into the car and took off in the direction we were going, but they probably wouldn't have driven the two miles or so to the theater in a car. They could have been going anywhere, really.

"So what do you want to see?" I asked. "I honestly don't know what's in; I never go to the movies much. I'm always too busy, or don't have anyone to go with..."

"I know what you mean," Alison agreed as we kept walking. "We can see when we get there."

"Of course. So, that party last night. I'm probably going to be forever known as the dorky girl that came late. Sometimes I think I shouldn't have gone at all, in that case, but then I'd be known as the dorky square that missed the party," I laughed.

She grinned, seemingly knowing how that was. It was crazy; I'd written, I'll probably never have a friend like you, ever, ever again. But oddly enough, after the crane had floated away, the first person I saw started to seem like she would be someone I could talk to just as easily, someone who I could have just as much fun with. I couldn't help thinking how weird it was, though.

"Alison!" I whispered loudly.

I got a few annoyed glances from some people in the row in front of me. Alison and her friend had began walking up the steps of the theatre.

"Alison!" I whispered even louder.

This time, she looked at me. So did a lot of other people, except they told me to shut up. I wasn't sure if Alison was glad to see us. She kind of looked uneasy.

"Hey girls." Lance grinned as the two girls sat down beside us.

About two hours later, the movie had finished. I didn't think it was that good to be honest. I'd seen better. The others seemed to enjoy it though, except for Peter. We both thought that it was pretty boring.

Peter was actually really cool. We had a lot in common, come to think of it. We liked the same music, we enjoyed the same subjects and we had the same sense of humour. All of us were about to leave the building when Peter suddenly realised something.

"Shoot! I've left my wallet in the theatre!" He said, biting his lip. "You guys go on without me. I'll catch you up."

"All right." Gwen replied.

"I'll help you find it." I smiled at him.

"Okay, thanks." Peter shrugged.

While the others headed out of the building, Peter and I headed back into the cinema. Everyone had left by now, so it was going to be pretty easy to find his wallet. The both of us jogged up the steps until we reached the row we had been sitting in ten minutes ago. The floor was covered in fallen popcorn and spilt cans of cola.

As we searched, we joked about the movie we'd just seen.

"What was up with that girls hair?" I chuckled. "It looked like she 'ad some kind of dead animal on her 'ead!"

"I know like! Found my wallet!" Peter suddenly announced, standing up.

I happened to stand up the same time as Peter. The second I'd stood up, his face was right in front of mine. Wow... he really was a nice looking guy. I liked it when it was just me and him. On our own. And I loved being this close to him. My lips curved upwards slightly as I stared at his perfect face. I really loved being this close to Peter.
I didn't know what to put here so I put this.

The movie was boring. I think I had actually fallen asleep. But, since Lydia liked, it, I figured I should say I did, too. After all, she was a normal girl, with lots of friends. And, that's all I wanted.

Alison and Gwen had sat behind us. They seemed nice. I got a strange aura from Alison. She seemed sad, and nervous. I could hear her ripping a napkin to pieces throughout the entire movie. But, who am I to complain? I was lucky to be there.

Peter had forgotton his wallet, so him and Ollie had gone back to retrieve it. When Ollie had told Peter her would go with him to find it, I knew I was right. And when Ollie came back smiling, well...

This is getting odd,but I like it!

Peter

The movie bored me to tears and Ollie seemed to have the same to share my feelings toward it. Ollie wasn't as bad as I thought him to be; he was sweet and kind as I observed when he stood for Emily. And it wasn't his fault that Alexis liked him better than me it just how things were.

We barely made out of the theaters when I remembered something my wallet. "Shoot I left my wallet in the theater. Why don't you guys go without me.I'll catch you up."

"All right,"Gwen shrugged.

"I'll help you find it," Ollie grins.

"Okay, thanks," I smiled.

Everyone else went ahead while we went back into the cinema.By now it was cleared and littered with popcorn, beverage cups forgotten in their holder and so on. Once we reached the row we had been sitting we began our search. Making casual conversation and commenting about the movie we had been watching. We shared the same opinions on everything.

"Found my wallet,"I announced standing up.

In that same exact moment Ollie stood up too our bodies were so close and I realized he was really cute.Wait did I just think another guy was cute?! But it couldn't be helped,he was cute.I could feel my heartbeat accelerating in my ribcage. What was happening to me!His lips curled upwards as we stared into one another's eye's.I couldn't help but to smile,he had the most amazing smile ever; it was contagious.

I'm too scared of the feelings swirling inside of me to make the first move, noticing my hesitation he made the first move.He moved within a inch of me and he pressed his lips on mines so gently and provoking,I closed my eyes, then our tongues introduced themselves to each other. The kiss was accompanied by some warm clammy hands. My hands gently held my face as his ran through my hair. After a good minute of action-and yes I actually counted-we came up for air both red-cheeked and gasping.

"Wow," was all I could think of.

 Well this has taken a very interesting turn...

Alison

All throughout the movie, all I could think of was Ollie, sitting in front of me. Now, it wasn't totally bad, where I was, but the people he was with - I don't know, they just seemed like a really tight group, and I felt like I was infringing on it by even speaking to them. Ollie seemed to talk with Emily a lot.

Are they dating? I wondered, then discarded the thought as I remembered the party. No, I didn't think so...but he certainly did seem to like her.

After the movie was done, we all headed out of the theater, until Peter remembered that he had left his wallet behind. He raced off to find it, and Ollie went with him.

That's interesting, I mused.

When the boys returned, each one looked a little flushed, shocked, and excited. It was exactly the sort of look I'd have expected if two people had been...

No. No way.

I looked at Ollie, suspicions rising. The tight jeans, the not-so-low voice, the way he was glancing at Peter now...

Oh snap.

I barely even registered Lydia asking whether we should all go to the mall to check out some really cute shoes or other that she wanted. I was too busy playing the detective. I scanned the other kids' faces, to see if they had noticed anything unusual, and my eyes met Emily's. There was a knowing glint in hers, and as we locked eyes, each of us saw that the other one had figured it out.

Well... this is getting interesting

Ollie
What the hell was happening to me?! Was I drunk or something? I glanced at Peter. He looked just as confused as me.

"Guys...?" Lydia asked again. "Are we going to the mall or?"

"Yeah, sounds good." Gwen finally answered.

I just nodded, along with quite a few of the others. As we left the movies, I noticed Alison glancing at me every few minutes. She couldn't have possibly known what had just happened, could she? I wasn't even sure what had just happened.

Lydia wanted to buy some shoes or something, I wasn't really listening. Peter and I hadn't said a word to each other. I hadn't really said anything to anyone really. Alison was still looking at me every five seconds though. I was sat by Emily while the others were looking at some shoes with Lydia.

"Is Alison all right?" I asked, turning to Emily.

"Yeah. Why?" Emily smiled back.

"I don't know..." I shrugged. "She's lookin' at me kinda funny."

Emily simply continued smiling. Had she noticed too? Turning away from Emily, my attention focused on Peter. Lance was showing him a pair of sneakers, but he didn't seem the slight bit interested. He seemed to be in a daze.

"You're staring." I heard Emily's soft voice beside me.

I turned back to her. She was looking at Peter as well, still smiling slightly.

"I'm not!" I insisted, a bit too quickly.

I wasn't staring at him. I was just... interested. Closing my eyes, I tried to shake every thought of Peter out of my head. But I couldn't. He was all I could think of. His deep blue eyes, smooth blonde hair and his soft, warm lips. Why are you being so stupid?, I thought to myself. You're not gay, you like girls Ollie. You are not gay...
I didn't know what to put here so I put this.

I walk into school the next day with a scowl on my face. I had tried to hit a high note yesterday in vocals, and lost my voice. Danielle walked by my side, ready to explain to anyone why I didn't have my voice if needed. Or to answer for me, which I wasn't too thrilled about.

You will not say anything stupid I wouldn't say to someone. Or else you can just imagine the cussing out I would totally give you. I write to her on a blank sheet of paper. She laughs.

"I won't, I promise." She says. For some reason, I don't believe her. I frown. I hated being mute.

I walk into my first class, Phys Ed, with Danielle. She quickly explains to the teacher, he nodds.

"Okay, good thing were not doing volleyball anymore, right Lex?" He said, using my hated nickname. I swear in my head. I open my mouth to say something, realize its useless, and shut it. This would be a long day, but I would have to learn to be calm. I put a smile on my face, then go to join Lynda and Lance.

I quickly wrote down what happened. They laughed.

"Guess being a singer might not be the thing for you!" Lance said.

"Ah, it was just a little mistake. We can't all be perfect." Lynda sid. I frowned.

I was parked in the student parking lot, my seat reclined back and my eyes closed the events of yesterday not forgotten. All yesterday I tried to forget the kiss me and Ollie shared, but couldn't.He was all I could think of now.All last night when I finally reach home I tried scrubbing my mouth to get rid of the taste he left behind but it didn't work he still tainted my mouth.

Though he wasn't even in my rang, his smell still impaled my nostrils, my hand burned to touch his smooth cheeks again, taste him again. Stop it Pete my mind yelled You are straight not gay. You love Alexis, remember.

But I doubted that. Last night I didn't dream about Alexis- heck I already barely did-I dreamed about Ollie.

I sighed as the last bell rang. I was supposed to meet both Peter and Ollie for Psychology homework, but honestly I didn't know how it would go.

This is going to be extremely awkward, I grimaced.

I headed up to the library and found a quiet little nook for us. Setting my books on the table, I waited anxiously. What would I say to them? How should I behave? How would they behave? Why didn't I know that they were...yeah...I mean, it hadn't seemed completely apparent at first.

I breathed another sigh. "Just gotta plug through it," I muttered to myself, and started on the homework.

Sure.
Lydia: I re-applied my eyeliner and headed out of the locker rooms. Schools over, finially! I just want to sleep now, well, after my homeworks done of course. I hummed a Green Day song and pushed through the front doors of the gym. Not paying attention, I someone ran into me.
" Ow," I rubbed my head and scowled.

Ring goes the bell, and suddenly school is over. How did it go so fast? School usually lasted forever for me.

Was it because I was looking forward to walking around the halls and waving at my new friends? Was it because I knew something only two - possible three - other people knew about? Yes.

So where to now? I didn't want to go home, and work doesn't start for two hours. I suppose going to the library would be a good idea. I could meet some other new people. Now that I went to Alexis' party, people surely would not have as hard of time talking to me.

And then I saw Allison, in a small little corner. She knew - I knew she knew - about Peter and Ollie. She was smart, and obviously observant.

"Hey, Allison, we should talk..."

I wanted to make sure that my new friend's secret was kept.
