Where do you write?

I write on my computer, in my brothers' room (my room is just a hole). He's always trying to read what I'm writing. *Sigh* It's frustrating. I like to sit by the fire, too, at night. It's nice.

Tessitor, your room is cool. Yes, the wall color doesn't really work out...hey, what goes good with red?

Did I mention I have a laptop, not a regular PC. A dell, although it is so slow (runs on XP) that it should be called a HELL! So...slow...the pain!

My family think my room is a dark and dingy dump. My little brother thinks it stinks (but he's like that) But I like writing there. It's isolated, and I can write there anytime. I also have a few little haunts around the garden I forgot to mention. Like under this fabulous gumtree...

My room's pretty clean....if you're just looking at the floor. I have some clothes my mom pulled out one of my dresser draws on this big chest, along with papers, blankets, and nearly everything that has to do with my story. My desk is a mess, too, with a lot more loose paper, candy, old homework from past school years, magazines, books, and old projects. And under my desk is a big pile of the shoes I usually wear. My chair sometimes has things in it. My dresser is littered with jewelry, more paper things, and stuff. My bookcase is slightly messy. And my bedside dresser thing(the name eludes me) has a lot of junk and a pile of books and CDs on it. I really need to clean it up. I wouldn't have to sit on my bed and make my upper back and neck sore when I'm writing, reading, and doing homework. I've also lost a few things related to my story in that room.

DUDE, ZZAP, CHILL!! Lol, WOW you are thorough.. I bet your stories are PACKED with details lol.

My room is a mess. If I could change that, I would. But it's too far gone to clean it now lol.

I write.. well, it depends on my mood. If it's late at night, I'm on my computer in my room, usually typing out a very emotional scene. If it's on a stormy day, I'm in my room with the door closed and the windows open, writing on my bed. If I'm at school, I'm usually in class, writing in my notebook. I can write pretty much anywhere.. but I usually have to have a soundtrack (Harry Potter or LOTR) playing in the background, or I can't concentrate. I have to have my hair up, otherwise it distracts me. I can't have any annoying bracelets or anything, because I end up throwing them across the room lol. I can't have anyone watching me. I'm too paranoid. I usually have to have something to drink, but I end up ignoring it once I get deep into my writing mode. My notes have to be right next to me for reference, and I ALWAYS have to write my ideas down, otherwise I completely blank out about 2 minutes after I have the idea.

That's about it lol.

Um, wow? yes, the room color is being changed next week, probably on monday or tuesday, to a sandy yellow (how'd you guess, ZZAP?) with a "feature wall" of either blue or green, not sure yet. I was going to go with red (my favorite color, who'd of thunk it?) but that would have been just TOO much.

I'm changing the curtains, but not by much. I need the velvet there to keep out the sun and the distraction of kidlets running around on the street. Blinds can't cut it since I have just one big window, and blinds don't come that big (that I've seen yet, within my price range). I'm just going to put a "cover" on top, so that it's less of a thin curtain rod.

I've also made several changes since that picture was taken (I forgot when). My headboard is different, two poster thing (good for bondage ), and there's a typewriter on my second roll-top desk.

And my bookshelf is different, but you didn't see that...

Heh. I went on a picture-taking spree. The only think you don't really see is Squishy my spinny soft-shell turtle, who lives in a tank on a seperate table across from my bed, next to my main desk. He's cute. She. Still can't get over that Squishy is a girl. Grumble. She's supposed to be a guy, damn it. Grumble. And she's quite the aggressive little shit, too. I find her amusing. Anyway, she's pretty.

Maybe I'll update my pictures again some day... after I paint.

And I'm never listening to music too loud. Plus there's the stereo under the desk behind me, and I sometimes use that if I have a particular album I need to here. I always listen to music when I write. White noise.

...hm. But I like my room. It's purty. Not like my friends rooms. They are a mess. All the time. I can't stand mine being dirty for too long. Once in a while, yes, but not all the time.

And no, I'm NOT going to go into detail about you..

I found a few new places to write while on vacation lol. The first is in my dad's truck, in the back seat. Next to the window, of course. I was looking out at the beautiful view while on the drive, and I just started writing down all these observations. It was great. Especially when it was snowing.. I don't get to see the snow enough.

Was that really this morning? Wow. Doesn't feel like it..

The other place is in the small bedroom at my grandma's house. It was raining, and I was snuggled up under the many blankets she has on that bed. I took out my notebook and wrote more than I've written for the past month lol. I think I'm finally breaking free of writer's block.. *celebrates rather drowsily*

Writers block... ugh, those suck.

Does anyone else feel like after you've had writers block for, say, more then three weeks, and you sit down to write... it's the most horrible stuff you've ever written?

I had that happen to me. It sucked.

I think I've had that feeling, or something close to it.

I only wrote just a few sentences on my story's history notes and in my idea mini-notebook while I was in my mom's car. I was thinking about getting my story out to write at my Aunt and Uncle's house, but there were so many relatives around! I've only let two people read my story so far, and I don't like it when people ask me about it!(well, except for you guys and YFW) And I couldn't write in our hotel room because I forgot my headphones here.

I don't see much snow, either. And we didn't get any snow in Oklahoma! The weather man promised! But all we got was wind. Cold, hard wind.

I write too on my couch, with a laptop and blankie... I have heavy metal blasting j/k I have Christmas music in the backround. Sometimes my dad will come in to give me some hot chocolate, and some dark chocolate on a plate. Love it, love it...

Hey, I just realized, sometimes I write on my couch on my ancient laptop with a blanket! Wow. I rarely do that though, because the TV is usually on and that can be distracting. And I end up working on a game or something.

That sounds so comforable. Unfortunately, we don't have a laptop. At least, not one for home. So I have to handwrite it. But going into the livingroom/den/familyroom/whatever-room-we're-calling-it means risking someone being in there watching TV. Or me putting the TV on because I don't want to go get my music.

My best friend has a laptop. She gets to take it with her on vacations. It's not fair!

Don't worry love... Your eating the wrong chocolate. For your heart you actually NEED to eat dark chocolate, as it raises the ecpicatechin and procyanidin plasma levels in your blood, further increasing the healthy heart. Don't eat MILK chocolate, as the dried milk that is supplimented (the saturated fats such as stearic and palmitic acids) negates the health effect of increasing antioxidents. Also, it's been known that Dark chocolate reduces the serum leukotrien which is a chemical messenger known to cause the blood to clot, which has the possibility to increase blood pressure. Also, chocolates have a high percentage of flavonoids which like I mentioned earlier participate in increase in antioxidents which reduce the amount of free radicals in the body and blood stream. But, I don't know exactely what you have... You said somewhere about rapid heart rate so I thought it had to do with SVT (Supraventricular Tachycardia).

Hershey?! NO! That is the exact wrong chocolate to eat! It's been known for high levels of palm oil, which have tons of saturated fats which increase your cholestrel levels! It increases LDL cholesterol that circulates in the blood, which can lead to atherosclerosis. Don't take that!
