There hasn't been activity in that group for ages. I dropped that group a while ago, it was just clogging my list of groups I was in. I checked in just recently to see if any additional contributions were made, nothing.

OK, so it seems it may be sort of revived now.

That can be the way groups go. However, if everybody took the attitude of "once a group is dead it can't be revived" then groups would die a lot more often. That's why it's important to get a group of people interested; old members move on, so new members need to take their place. When that doesn't happen, a group dies. When somebody takes the incentive to revive a group, getting newer members to pay attention and participate, the group tends to revive. It might not be in constant activity, but you have members who pay attention when something gets posted.

Oh, and should someone contact the group leader? If he's even still an active member.

Hmm, I wonder if he's still interested in returning to moderate it. If not, we can decide who will be the moderator, gather additional members if necessary, and give the group a fresh start.

Just keep in mind, the art in writing a successful horror is not mass gore, but the skill in reestablishing a disturbing senario in our minds. That said, it would interesting if the forum was reborn.

Hm, the horror group didn't see much of a revival. It's very much dead again.

It's really too bad it isn't more popular.
