Name: Aimee Fales (the name the eidolon gives herself when in the human world)

Age: 110 (considered to be 22 years in appearance)

Appearance: She is an elegant looking lady with long, curly blond hair, a heart shaped face and a slender build. Her eyes are blue but they show a glint of madness that’s within her. She wears a black dress with shades of violent and a polka dot skirt, black slippers and sunglasses.

http://shilin.deviantart.com/art/Commis ... -155658044

Personality: She is an enthusiastic and friendly person, but can be rather naive as she tends to do things based on what she feels rather than logic. She likes to meet new places and experience new people and cultures and hates being stuck in the same place. This was why she left the village. She is also a charmer, having been in many relationships in her long life but dislikes long term relationships because of the commitment. But deep inside, she is sneaky and a malignant narcissist. As the years rolled by, she found her life to slowly become a bore and desperately tries to find ways to seek more attention. This led her to steal the item from the King’s chambers.

Abilities and weaponry: Having been an entertainer and a traveler for many years, she is considered to be a jack of all trades. She carries her prized flute, made from the branch of a rare tree and spell forged by the eidolon magicks of her tribe and plays it to cast medium to high level elemental spells, debuffs like sleep, weaken and stun and to a degree, animate statues to do her bidding. She also knows (to a degree) how to use flexible weapons like daggers, rapiers, katanas (Japanese culture is one of her primary fields of interest) and bows, able to scale up walls, pickpocket and move with stealth and read ancient symbols and text that one would normally find in long forgotten dungeons.

Job class: Bard

Background: Once belonging to a tribe of eidolons in a village located near the mountain ranges, she left to seek a more hectic life in the main kingdoms. She made a living as an entertainer, performing magic, musical and drama acts for she feels alive and happy when she’s at the center of attention. She has traveled to many kingdoms, experienced various lifestyles and cultures (including a small number of places in the human world, mostly Japan) and has made many friendships and been in many relationships. At one point, she was part of a band of adventurers that took part in treasure hunting and tomb raiding.

But in her late teenage years, her desire for attention and thrill seeking got the best of her. One day, she decided to use her magic to cause havoc in the kingdom. She was arrested and was sentenced to three years in a prison. During this time, she starts planning for the act that will truly impress her audience.

When she was released, she immediately started to research on what spell that she could cast that’s powerful enough to attract mass media attention and “fame”. After a month of research, she learned of an ancient demons’ tomb, located in a remote and dangerous area on the outskirts of the Kingdom.

She plans to use the artifact to unleash the lesser demons onto the Kingdom to hopefully achieve the satisfaction that she desires. But first, she needs to locate another artifact that is required to control them.

The air crackled. A flash of light in an alleyway is not a normal occurance, but then this wasn't a normal night. A stumble and a curse startled a cat, who leaped over a fence.
"I hate those damn portals."
"Oh, shut it, Lorcan. You'll be fine in a second."
Amanda stared around her, and took a deep breath through her nose and scowled. "Filthy people. You would think they would learn to clean up."
"Mmm. Where's the target?"
"Chashina. Where's Chashina?" Amanda scowled around the dark alleyway. "You would think they would send more for such a big job."
Chashina stood up from a shadow, straightening her red dress. "Sorry."
Lorcan grunted. "Maybe more will come later. But it doesn't matter. We just have to get the job done."
Amanda smiled, a slight curve of her lips. "Indeed. We must find the eidolon."

*uuuh. Well. It's a start for the black mages, I guess.*
It's not easy having a good time. Even smiling makes my face ache.

Maya - Royal Guards

There was a lot of talk going on in the stables. Maya looked up from her work, consisting of grooming her horse Jeesht. She was a fairly good rider but not much of a fighter on a horse.
She rubbed the her left index and thumb together, feeling for that comforting spark of energy that flowed between.

She was squatting down, when Refina, one of her closest friends walked over and called her over.

"Maya, I've heard that they're calling all the Guards for a meeting. It's involved with an eidolon." We should head for it.

Claren

Claren was leaning against one of the many pillars of the castle, smoking her pipe as she stared, with no particular interest at the cadets that were running across the halls. When she had finished with her smoke, she pulled out some photos from the breast pocket of her uniform that were issued to all the party members involved in the eidolon hunt.

In the first photo, a young, blond haired woman in a night dress was playing a flute of some sort, snickering at her latest musical piece. Wild flames were erupting from the ends of the flute and had materialized into the shape of a phoenix. With wings spread wide apart, it was about to fly into the Department of Spellcrafting, sending an avalanche of debris onto the fleeing crowd.

It became a routine for Claren to be seeing scenes of destruction and mayhem in her life. But when she saw the next photo, she found herself giving off a slight snort. The eidolon stood naked at a lake, the rippling surface settling at her waist. She had her arms crossed to grasp her shoulders, partially concealing her breasts. Blue eyes stared seductively as though they were luring her to join in.

“Hey Claren,” said Refina.

“Are we really hunting for an eidolon here or a common prositute?” Asked Claren jokingly.

“Hahhah. Looks can be deceiving. Anyway, how come you decided to join us in the hunt?”

“I need a real challenge for once. It gets boring having to deal with petty thieves and rebels ya know.” She lied.

“Suit yourself,” said Refina, “you’ll need these.”

Confused, Claren took a look inside the bag that Refina had given her and said “What are these for?”

“So that you’ll fit in with the humans. The last thing that we want is a commotion. You’ll also need this.”

Refina handed to her a gym bag that looked slightly worn.

“Hide your mace in that. We’ll meet you at the portal once everyone's ready alright?"

"Yea later."

Once Refina had left, she looked at the time that was shown on the grand clock in the middle of the great lobby.

Still got time.

She resumed looking at the photos and had another smoke before she headed off to get changed.

Refina stifled a sigh as she walked away from Claren; leaving her to finish looking at the given pictures. She soon caught up with Maya, who was on her way to where the Royal Guards had been called to meet.

“Why do you think Claren is coming?” Maya asked, slightly slowing her pace to let Refina finish catching up.

“Probably just to see the human world. She obviously isn’t taking this mission seriously.” Refina replied, matching Maya step for step.

“Besides,” She added through a yawn. “I doubt she really wants to travel with us, which is another reason why she wouldn’t normally do something like this.” Maya just shrugged.

“Why did the Eidolon take the artifact in the first place?”

“Who knows? Who even needs to know? All we need to do is bring it back, not find out her plans with it.” Refina said, giving a small shrug as she spoke.

The two of them walked in silence for a few moments before Maya spoke up once more,

“We should hurry up, before we miss what’s going to be said.” she said, speeding up.

Lorcan

It was cold. That was the first thing I noticed about this particular trip to the human world. I could feel the breeze snaking up my cloak and I didn't like it. An invasion of privacy. My cloak. That was a troublesome factor.

"Lorcan," Amanda said stiffly. I sighed and reached for the silver clasp. The black fell away around my feet and I was left exposed in my human disguise. Their trousers were not comfortable but at least they had style. Chashina gave me a long look and then nodded.

"I like it," she said. "Are we ready to go steal ourselves a stolen artifact?" There was a glint of humour in her eyes. I wasn't the type to laugh, not anymore, so I was wary of her amusement.

"You'll do," Amanda decided. "Let's go."

"Do we know where to start looking?" I wondered. That would make this much easier.

Name: Danya

Age: 28

Description of appearance: Fair complexion, blue eyes, red hair kept cropped up short. Danya's most comfortable in a tank top and jeans, though will deviate when occasion calls. She views high heels and sandals as impractical, preferring tennis shoes and, occasionally, boots.

Alliance: Black Mages

Personality: Self confidence is not an area Danya is lacking in, and efficiency is high on her list of good qualities to possess. Likewise, inefficiency is high on her list of peeves. If she views a method or group as making useless waste of resources, she is quick to try to solve the problem, especially if she sees it as something that might reflect upon her. Loves challenges, not for any entertainment value they might possess, but rather because of how they will reflect upon her when she solves or completes them. She is always on the lookout for a challenge or puzzle harder than before as a result. It's her determination and record for being fast to solve that won her a place on the team sent after the eidolon.

Job class: Warlock

Abilities and weaponry: Specializes in open hand combat and has some experience with daggers. In physical combat, prefers weapons close to herself (i.e. no long swords, maces, clubs, etc.) Can also briefly tap the life force of a being. The immediate effect of the tap is that the being in question begins to be drained of their life force, though it is, in theory, possible to reverse the effects. The latter is something difficult to achieve and, in Danya's eyes, one of the most inefficient methods of healing available. It would require an unreasonable amount of power from the magic user's side for a very minimal amount of health. It is also the one ability that Danya has not been able to completely master. It's because of her lack of mastery that she doubts its legitimacy and often scoffs at those who claim to have done it.

Danya can also summon an imp or minion from the lower planes for brief periods of time. The abilities of the summoned being often times represent her own, both in power strength and type, though they do occasionally have their own abilities that they use. Danya herself specializes in turning her opponent's body against itself, either by draining life force, stamina, or magic, or a combination of the three.

Character background: Danya was the prodigy child. From an early age, people had high expectations of her, and, loving the attention, she strived to fulfill them. In truth, there's nothing brilliant about her. It was her circumstance that made her. It was because of the high expectation that she rose so high so fast, both in her studies and in her hobbies. While by no means rich, her family did live comfortably, allowing her to explore her interests with a measure of freedom. When she was fourteen, however, a dual scandal put a quick stop to it.

While her mother had been playing the powers that be to get her daughter a spot on the Black Mages, her father had been sneaking off at night. At first it was assumed that he was cheating on his wife, until the wife in question followed him one night and discovered he was a part of a small rebel group. She threatened to expose him until he brought back to her memory her methods of persuasion when it came to their daughter's future. If her (illegal) power play wasn't enough to bar their daughter from the Black Mages, then revealing his involvement in the group most certainly would.

Already it was unclear if Danya would be able to join the ranks of the Black Mages, the group being famous for their high standards when it came to one's skill, physically, mentally, and magically. To raise her chance of acceptance into the higher ranks, Danya's parents had been working to ensure her a spot at a university geared specifically for training for the Black Mages. Revealing her less than honorable means of acceptance could lose her her position. If her mother revealed her father, then he would almost certainly reveal her mother, and the world would come crumbling down around Danya's ears.

Three weeks after her father's secret had been revealed to them, Danya attended her interview with the university. Knowing it might be the last time in a very long while that her father would let her out of his sight due to her knowledge of him, Danya reported his activities to the dean. She hoped that by doing so, she would protect both her mother and herself from the very dangerous position he had put them in. Before he was executed for his crimes, he alerted the officials to Danya's mother's activities. After a thorough investigation, it was determined that Danya had achieved her place at the university through dishonorable means. The president of the university issued her a pardon, however, saying that her actions against her father had been more than enough to redeem her. Her mother, however, was deemed unhirable due to her actions, and soon went broke without her husband there to support her. She moved into a widow house, and Danya excelled in her training. She joined the Black Mages fulltime at 19 and has gradually progressed her position ever since.

Please also include a song that you think suits your character (like a theme song). It would help greatly.

Maria:

I looked towards Arianna and sighed. We both looked back at the girl.

"Hello," she said and pushed her hair out of her face. She was wearing some kind of weird dress and had sunglasses perched on her head. "I asked you here for a reason."

She fell silent and looked away for a moment.

"Oh, will you spit it out already?" I muttered. Arianna shot me a warning look. I shrugged.

"I asked you hear to be witnesses of something huge," she finished. Arianna and I exchanged curious glances. Well, this was new.

Claren

Looking into the mirror, Claren took off her uniform top and tossed it to the side. She ran her fingers through her hair and grabbed the white tank top and threaded her head and arms through. Then, she unbuckled her belt and pulled off her trousers to put on the boy shorts, torn at the edges. Satisfaction beamed across her face as though she liked exposing all her toned arms and smooth legs. She ran a hand across her fair skin, letting out a sigh of relief as she caressed herself and stopped when she was touching her groin.

After she had straightened the creases on her shirt, she took the amulet (a blue crystal on a string) that she had safely tucked away in a small box and held it in her hands. As she closed her eyes, she felt as though her mother was right behind her, eager to see her daughter and how much of a fighter she has become. When she wore the necklace, the muskiness of the changing rooms waned, followed by an outburst of an aroma of lilies. Claren was never able to fully associate the smell with anything; she believed that it might belong to something that’s in the human world.

Inside the drawer of her work desk were many photos of her mother, though most of them had faded with time. In one of them, she was gesturing to a palm tree that was about twice as her. Right around the corner showed families sunbathing and barbequing. In the background was the sea, a bright turquoise blue and shimmering. Also in her drawer was her mother’s leather covered diary. Claren could never make much sense of the stuff that her mother had left behind, despite them being filled with her happy and exciting memories. The bleak images of her mother slouching on the sofa by the fireplace and of the smoke clouds that often blanketed the sky during the war had left a stronger impression than her floral pictures and writing did.

She left the changing rooms and headed down the spiral case to where two of her party members were waiting.

“No catcalls?” said Claren sarcastically, expecting Jason to hit on her given the way that she was dressed, “looks like that moron Jason hasn't finished flirting with the girls down at the bar yet.”

“Yea, I haven’t seen him either,” said Refina.

“Where the heck is he?”

Refina; Royal Guards

Maya just shrugged once more in response to Claren.

“Like you said, he’s probably off flirting right now.” Refina said.

"I suppose we should look for him." Maya said. Refina gave a quick nod while Claren sighed.

"Whatever." Claren said, taking the lead and veering down another hall. The walls of the hall were painted a shiny gold color, and had dim lights hanging down from the low ceiling and attached to the walls. There was a basic molding at the top and bottom of the walls, simple swirls painted a darker gold color with a hint of silver to accent the framing for the lights.

As she followed Claren, Refina glanced down at herself. She was wearing a dark black pair of jeans, converse, and a blue hoodie with black spots meant to look like a leopard print. As odd as she felt in the clothes, she knew she would blend in the humans. Refina glanced upward once more at Claren, who continued to walk confidently as if she knew the exact location where Jason was.

"What makes you think he's going to be down this way?" Refina asked.

Jason Ridley

"Well, I think you're the most beautiful woman I've ever met," Jason said, running a finger through thick blonde hair. He'd seen her at the bar and then taken her out to the park-a more private place where they could flirt. He leaned forward to kiss her, but the girl backed away.

"Please, Mr. Ridley, I barely even know you," the girl complained. "You're nice and all, but please-"

"I'm a member of the Royal Guard, though. It doesn't get much better then that," he said with a wink.

"I suppose it does sound pretty cool. What's it like?"

Suddenly Jason remembered something. He had been commissioned to find the Eidolon with Refina and Claren! And they were supposed to leave an hour ago! "Ah, listen. I have to go-erm, go on a dangerous mission."

"Good luck, Royal Guard boy," the girl said softly, blowing a kiss.

Jason smiled and ran as fast as he could, when he accidentally brushed against Claren. They had been looking for him. When the two saw him, their eyes widened.

"Hey Guys!" Jason said cheerfully, but that didn't improve their moods in the slightest. "Better late then never?"

Maya

Jason yelled a hey when he accidentally brushed against Claren. Was it an accident? Maya caught herself wondering.

"Hey," Maya muttered, not giving a hint of cheerfulness in her voice.
"We're late. We need to leave. Now," said Refina, a tad annoyed with Jason being late.
Claren nodded.

They headed down numerous halls, led by Claren. Maya walked, not taking in the the crafted walls, like she usually does. Her head was occupied with so many things. The eidolon, her party and humans. She was intrigued by them.

The sounds of soft, rushed footsteps echoed off the walls. Maya looked at the two of them in front of her.
She inspected them carefully. She wasn't sure of what to make of Jason. Sure, he flirted with anyone who was not a male but he did have a good sense of loyalty. Claren seemed confident about everything. She hadn't known Claren for years. She had met her through Refina.

They finally made their way through twisted corridors and entered the large hall, glittering with colours where a large number of people were gathered. The meet. They were here. No more second thoughts.

The people were clumped together like grapes spread over vines. Each party, discussing the task ahead.

Maya looked at Claren. "Show me those pictures." Pictures of what, needn't be said. Claren fished it out for her.

Aimee

It was late in the afternoon and business was starting to die down at the Starbucks Cafe. The cashier was counting the profit they've made on the day and the only remaining customers were a teenage couple and an old man sitting at the back sofas... and the eidolon and her cohorts at a small round table.

"So what are your names again?" The eidolon asked, gesturing to her cohorts.

"I'm Maria and this Arianna. Hey look lady, can we leave now, we have an assignment that's due-"

"No. Stay for just a minute. I won't be holding you two for long."

She took a deep sip of her espessro, indulging herself as the flavours danced in her mouth, changing from earthy to flowery and then fruity. It's a treat for her to be consuming human made beaverages for once.

"Alright," she leaned forward and whispered to them so that the staff member behind them won't hear her plan. "So I need you two to help me sneak into the chemistry lab at your school and get me about five sacks of thermite."

The girls stared at one another in horror, mouth wide apart. A moment of stunned silenced then followed. It was as though the two friends were trying to fully comprehend Aimee's words. Finally, Maria decided to step up.

"You can't have us do that!" She shot out of her chair and slammed her hands on the table. Everyone that was still in the cafe turned to face them. Aimee's cheeks flushed a slight red from the embrassment.

"Is there a problem?"

"Ah nothing don't worry miss," said Arianna to the lady behind the counter. She was the more sensible one of the two.

"Anyways," she whispered. "I'm not going to blow up your school or anything. Why would I do that? It's just for my grand show ya know?"

The eidolon placed a hand on Maria's arm to assure her that everything will be fine. Maria nodded slightly and eased herself back into her chair.

"Besides, if I were to be commiting arsen on your school, why would I need you two to help me?"

"Alright we'll help you," said Arianna. "But you better be paying us good."

"Now that's more like it girls." She gave them both a hug and a kiss on the cheeks.
"We'll meet tomorrow at 6 P.M outside your school then?"

"OK we'll be there. Text us."

"Bye!"

Fools mumbled Aimee as they left through the doors, holding their school books and folders in their arms and talking about what they plan to do during the weekend.

Danya -- Black Mages

Danya stepped aside the moment she was out of the portal and waited for Chashina to come through. It wouldn't do much good to put all that effort into acquiring proper attire for the human world, only to rip and scuff it up because you let someone coming through a portal crash into you. While she waited, she took stock. Amanda and Lorcan were there, also waiting, and around them were various bits of garbage -- mostly cans and old papers. There were some people strolling along the sidewalk, and a few more sipping iced drinks at the tables outside the coffee shop directly across from the alley. Danya looked up. While the shadow of the alleyway was cool, it looked to otherwise be a clear, sunny spring day.

"...Where to start looking?" Lorcan was asking.

"Danya," Amanda greeted, looking out the entrance to the alleyway. Danya nodded an acknowledgement in return, but Amanda was facing away from her.

"Amanda."

Amanda smirked over her shoulder, but kept her body facing their exit. "The coffee shop looks clear. Some people, but not busy. Easy to blend in and get a feel for the territory."

"Then we're just waiting for--" Danya began, but stopped as the hairs on her arm rose from the energy of the portal. In a moment, Chashina was there.

"Right," said Danya, clearing her throat and looking ahead again, "Let's go."
