Heads up on chat (may be expiring today...)

Make this reason #557 of why I don't like the current chat. This morning, I received an e-mail from the company that manages and hosts the chat that I owe them $30. It's true that every month, I need to pay them $30. But, it was paid for already yesterday. I don't owe them anything.

Needless to say, I'm trying to clear it up but I'm not going to pay an extra $30 just because their system is messed up. What this means is that if they don't fix it within the next 24 hours, the chat could disappear. If that happens, there is a backup ready to go at:
Chatty/flashchat.php

But, lets see how all this turns out. I'm just a tad bit ticked right now...

In any case, regardless of whether they acknowledge payment or not, we may be switching to this new/old chat soon enough due to money reasons. It's free whereas the current chat isn't free. The reason we switched to the current chat is because the old chat (Flashchat v. 4) tended to cause the entire site to slow down whenever there were more than 15 people in it. But Flashchat v. 6 (the chat linked to in the original post) is supposed to work much better. If that's true, I'd like to switch back to it as it'd save a lot of money.

Well, it's been seven hours now since I informed the Flashchat people (the current chat) that it's been paid for. It wouldn't bother me too much, but the notice says it's expiring today and today is Sunday. No one works on Sunday...
