Tyson

Tyson blinked at the commotion going on beside him. The one called Jason placed his hand of Casilda’s leg and stared at her in the eyes. She threw him an angry look throwing his hand back. Tyson sniggered looking away at the look Christopher gave him.
“So this is why I hope you all have fun here at Camp Gatsby” Darren said in a droning tone his eyes glazed over with a tiresome cloud. The whole time Darren had been talking Casilda, Alisanne and Jason had been chatting noisily in dismissing anything that Darren said.

“I just want to stress to you that the rule still stands no unassisted personal are allowed up into the thick of the forests. The danger of coyotes getting you poor little fellows would just be horrendous!”

He grinned out into the dying sun, “Now I don’t want to keep you all here, how about you go and enjoy your first day here in leisure!” Tyson stood up from his seat stretching his arms up above his head.

“Hey you guys wait up!” Chris cried stopping the small group. Primrose stumbled back towards us her hands hanging limp by her sides.
“I think I know a great way for us to have some fun here!” Chris grinned “We can go on a trip” he moved in towards us hushing his voice “To see those coyotes...tonight”

Casilda:

Someone sniggered but I ignored it. I looked up to see that Darren had finished talk and stood up, fiddling with my sunglasses while I watched Primrose stumble over to the black-haired boy. I thought his name was Tyson.

I shrugged and joined them small group talknig to Tyson and Chris.

“I think I know a great way for us to have some fun here!” Chris, the blond, grinned. “We can go on a trip,” he moved in towards the group and drooped his voice. “To see those coyotes...tonight.”

"What?" I asked, staring at the crazy blond boy. "Are you crazy? Into the forest? At night?" Suddenly I grinned. "I love this idea."

Chris-

I couldn’t help but grin at Casilda, I looked around at the rest of the group my heart racing.
Primrose bit into her lip, “I’ll come but what happens if we get eaten?”
I laughed, “You got to live a little Prim, live life in the moment” I grabbed at Tyson’s shoulder and shook him. “Isn’t that right my man?” I looked over at Jason and gestured towards him.

“Your father is like all adventurous you can’t tell me you aren’t either!”
Jason shrugged, “I’ll come, but if we get caught I blaming it on you!”
I nodded eagerly, “I don’t mind. What about you Alisanne?”

She rocked back onto the balls of her feet and stared up at the ceiling, “All that walking” she began to shake her head when she thought better of it “Maybe...Ah I don’t know...okay than!”
I stared over at Primrose grinning at her “Well are you going to come or be a kill joy!”
She laughed, “While being a kill joy sound like fun, I just can’t say no. I’ll come!”

Casilda:

I grinned at the blond boy. I kind of liked him.... At least he wasn't hitting on me like Jason... Speaking of Jason. I looked towards him. He was staring at me again. I sighed and flipped him off making a few people laugh, then I looked straight at Chris.

"When do we leave?" I asked, looking around at the others as they decided to come for a 'walk'.

"Soon," Chris said and smiled a sly smile.

I sighed. "Soon as in as soon as Darren and the others are asleep, right?" I asked. He nodded and I laughed. "I love sneaking out.... To the woods, even better."

Primrose~

The midnight air pushed against my face as I stood on the front porch to the cabin. The rest of the group crowded around Chris, who had a flash light shining down on what looked to be like a badly drawn map.

“Alright we are here” Chris pointed down on to a dark coffee spot.
“Is that a coffee spot?” Alisanne asked craning her head down to see it better. Tyson smirked staring off into the moon.
“Who was the idiot who drew this map” Casilda laughed gesturing towards the key and scale at the top of the map.

“It doesn’t matter who drew the map it only matters if we can use it! And I can, so as I was saying, we have five hours to get to the top of those mountains and back without being caught, now some of us might not come back alive...” Chris said pointing to us individually.

“That’s just great I mean I love to know I am going to die!” Jason said snidely crossing his hand across his chest.
“With talk like that, you’d be dead!” Casilda snapped. I put out my hands nervously
“Look guys we don’t have to fight, this is just a little fun thing okay! We can do this, Chris where do we go to get to our destination the fastest?”
“Behind the camp there is a trail which we follow and break off into the shrubs through halfway” he looked back down at the map to make sure he was right.

I pulled the flashlight out of his hands and began to walk “Then let’s go!”

That's fine. I'll just post now.

Casilda:

I waited while our small group talked. It was definitely midnight, the moon was up (and full) and everyone else was asleep. I had ditched my sunglasse and now we were about to go walking into the forest. Most likely to our deaths.

Chris said something about where were going, I wasn't really listen, and Primrose pulled the flashlight out of his hands and began to walk, “Then let’s go!”

I chuckled and followed her as she stepped off the porch and headed for the back of the camp.

"Are you guys coming?" I called back. The rest of the group looked rathersurpirsed but I just shrugged and followed Prim into the trees. I heard a few yells that sounded a lot like 'Wait for us!' and kept walking. I could hear the others following us.

"Hey Prim," I called and she paused, looking back at me. I held up the map, which I had nicked right out of Chris's hands while he was distracted. "Are you sure you know where you're going?"

Primrose~

I stared back a Cass and laughed, “I seriously don’t know where I am going” I began to walk again kicking at the rocks that were in my way. “I’m hoping that if I follow the trail to about halfway Chris or someone with a sense of direction is going to take over and so I won’t the one that led us to our death’s!”
Cass laughed again, the map fluttering in the wind as she squinted to see it properly.
“Hey who stole my map?!” Chris trilled; I could hear the sound of his voice as he came closer. “Did you take it Tyson; I saw you giving it shifty look before”
“I didn’t take your stupid map!” Tyson snapped angrily.
“Well you didn’t have to be so harsh about it” Chris muttered “A simple no would have been just as good”

I laughed, I could hear the faint sound of Alisanne and Jason behind us as they followed the small ribbon track winding up into the forest. I pointed the flash light at the ground a sense of fear and nervousness filling my chest. What happens if we did get eaten by coyotes? Mum would never know what happened to me, Dad would be hectic...
Adventure Prim; adventure. You have always liked it, just shut up and keep walking.
“You stole my map!” Chris exclaimed pointing at Cass.
I heard Cass laugh, “Your fault for not paying attention!”

LOL Apple. Humour, humour. I LOVE it! hehe.

Casilda:

I heard Chris accusing some of taking his map and grinned. Let's see how long until...

Suddenly I heard, “You stole my map!” from Chris as he pointed at me.

I laughed and looked back at him. “Your fault for not paying attention!” I smirked and folded the map in half before tucking it into my bra. Chris stared at me. "You're not getting it back yet." I tapped my head. "I know where to stop now. Memorised it."

Chris glared at me and fell silent. Tyson looked like he was going to wet himself and Jason was shooting me admiring looks while he was attempting to woo Alis. I chuckled and speed up to join Prim.

I pointed out a weird looking rock that marked the half-way point and said, "We're here! Time to lose the trail!"

Primrose~

I stared up at the direction Cass pointed out and grinned. Walking off the track my feet suddenly sunk in mud. I groaned hardily pulling my legs out with my hands. I hear Alis scream behind me as she plunged into the mud. I clamped a hand over my mouth so not to laugh Alis.

Tyson grabbed at her arms pulling her out of the mud and on to dry land. Chris began to laugh loudly his cheeks going red.
I began to walk forwards my legs aching from the long climb; I looked up into the sky listening to the quarrelling going on behind me.
“Chris you throw that mud ball and I will wring your neck!” Alis screamed threateningly.

Alis let out a loud scream as Chris flung the mud ball he was holding at her shirt. I couldn’t help but gasp as it collided with the expensive looking silk. Even with mud all over her she still looked like a model. Cass began to laugh as with Tyson and Jason.
Chris bounded past me running into the thick of the forest, “If you wanna catch me Alis you’re going to have to chase me...” A blood curdling scream cut Chris’s words short. I gasped rushing towards the trees Christopher had escaped into.

Pulling back the shrub my mouth dropped. A rock creature hurled itself towards Chris. He screamed again pushing himself back. “Run!” He shouted grabbing at my shoulders and pushing me back. I stumbled back slipping in the mud.
The rock creature burst through the trees roaring viciously, its eyes glowed red.
“Prim get out of there!”
I spy!

Oh no! *gasp*

Casilda:

I gapsed upon seeing the rock thing. I pulled Prim back, and blocked the others from going to help.

"Chris!" I screamed. "Watch out!"

Prim slipped in the mud and I held onto her so she wouldn't fall over. Alis was screaming and Jason was yelling at her to shut up. Tyson was talking about freaking out--or not freaking out and Chris.... Well, Chris was being Chris.

He stumbled backwards, slipping in the mud and caught my arm.

"Chris," I hissed. I stared at the rock thing, and blinked. What the hell.... It was just, well, rock.

"Get everyone out of here," Chris muttered but I shook my head.

"We all go," I said and I pulled him back.

We all turned and started stumbling back down the mountain. The rock creature roared and I knew it was behind us, following us.

"We can't run," I gasped after a moment. "The mud, it's no good. We'll slip and fall!"

No body answeed me as we slid onto a ledge that wasn't covered in mud and hid behind a huge protusion of rock. The rock creature bellowed and flew past, tumbling head over heals in the mud.

"Damn," I muttered and turned to see how everyone else was doing.

Changing to first person

Tyson:

This couldn't possibly be happening, this was all just dream...It had to be, I mean it's not every day you see A ROCK GOLEM! I dived behind the rock, the large creature dropped into the mud.
Mud splashed around coating my back. I rushed towards the group my heart racing.
"What are you guys doing, hurry up and run!" I screamed. Chris looked at the golem his eyes growing wide.
"That is the best thing I have ever seen! Quick Prim get my camera!" A large smile played across his face.

The golem began to move mechanically, its ember red eyes glowing in the dark night. Its large arms shook with resistance as it pushed itself to its feet. Chris began to creep towards it; I rushed towards him grabbing at his body I pulled him back.
The golem jumped towards us, clawing at my legs. I struck forward striking at his large fingers. Pain rushed up my leg I gasped my voice rising. It roared loudly thrashing around in the mud. I pushed at Chris and jumped after him landing heavily behind the boulder.

Jason

I was staring at Casilda, yeah, so what? It wasn't like she could charge me for looking. I didn't mind that I could only see her back from where I was walking with Alisanne. She had a nice back. A smooth, sweeping arch that would mould to my hands perfectly. There was also little conversation to be had with the glamour model, though she wasn't without her chamrs. That English accent was a killer.

"Well sometimes I paint my nails but it would all chip off out here," she was saying. She lifted her hand to show me and I skimmed my palm across hers for a moment.

"Yeah, losing your nail polish is the worst you have to worry about. Not the coyote's eating your fingers," I sniggered. I could feel the pen knife in my back pocket, pressing against my body. It was a comforting feeling.

Then it all got a bit crazy. Some sort of rock monster attacked us! We retreated, running to hide behind some boulders after Tyson had tricked it into falling into the mud bank.

"Think it will sink?" Tyson spluttered, clutching at a wound to his leg. It looked shallow so I didn't pay it much heed.

"The mud won't be deep enough," I said, standing up. "It will sink until its feet hit the bottom of the sink pool and then it will be able to wade out."

"Then let's get out of here!" Prim said. "What are we doing still here?" Some of the group seemed to be in agreement with her but I flicked my pen knife out and moved closer to the creature. It stopped dtruggling and watched me with bright, animal eyes.

"Idiot," Chris huffed. I ignored him. I went just close enough that it couldn't reach me and edged around the side of the mud to where some vines were hanging. I cut a few loose. The rock creature suddenly started struggling aagin and let out a deafening roar.

"Come on, Jason! Let's go!" Prim urged.

"We should just leave him," Casilda snorted.

lol.

Casilda:

"We should just leave him," I snorted and glanced towards Tyson. He was bleeding, but the cuts looked shallow.

"No," Alis said. "Don't leave him!"

I stared at her for a moment before going over to Tyson and checking his leg.

"You do whatever you like," I muttered and pulling Tyson's pants out of the way. "Damn," I whispered and ripped a strip off my red shirt. I wrapped it around Tyson's legged and stepped away.

"Jason!" Someone yelled. "What the hell are you doing?"

I looked towards Jason and stared. What the hell was he doing?

Prim~

Jason moved towards the golem, his pen knife poised dangerously above his head. I pushed myself forward my eyes widening in horror. The golem hand splayed forward snaking towards Jason’s leg.

I grabbed at his arm and pulled him back sending the both of us toppling in the mud. The golem roared pushing himself to move. Rushing forward I forced Jason to follow me towards the others.

“Run!” I shouted. Chris hesitated biting deeply into his lip.
“I don’t know…” He said gritting his teeth slowly together.
Alis grabbed at Chris’s shirt and began to pull him down towards the path; Cass helped Tyson to his feet waddling together to safety.

I sprinted after them my heart racing; I could hear Jason behind me manoeuvring the thick of the mud and sticks pointing out of the ground.
I could see the path in front of me breaking through the shrubs I landed with a thud on the path rocks grating up my leg.
I spy!
