I also wish I could win silver in the short ring speed skating competition, but alas. Do not wish I had Apolo's weird goatee though.

So, who is watching the Olympics? Favorite Olympian? Favorite competition?

No, seriously, I watch it until they start replaying horrific crashes and then I run out of the room. GAH. WHY???

The woman's moguls was AWESOME. That was just... wow. Surprise finish! Lovely stuff! And of course, I can't wait for the figure skating competition... I always wanted to be a figure skater when I was younger. Yeah... not happening. But it's still beautiful and I love the creative dancing they do. I also love the skiing things.

Luges just terrify me, even before the accident. That was so awful.

The Winter Olympics is exciting because we (the UK) are a minor nation in this as compared to the Summer version.

So even finishing 6th is exciting! Come on a couple of medals!

I can't wait for the snowboarding and ski cross (people actually RACING down a hill!) and the bobsleigh. Oh, and the downhill is pretty good. And the curling only because we might win a medal.

I definitely think you should go with the goatee Nate.

I watched the speed skating last night. It looked awesome. When they went around the corners their skates were practically flat on the ice.

The luge was pretty cool too. I would never, ever try it myself, but it was fun to watch. I can't believe they could get up 90 mph with just a sled, some ice, and gravity. The accident definitely put a damper on things, though.

I haven't seen much of the Olympics but I know about Apolo! He was on dancing with the stars awhile ago, I think he won too.
