When seven people who have never met each other survive a plane crash and swim to a nearby island they are faced with one major challenge, to survive. The story will start just when they all arrive on the beach.

I am okay with LIMITED swearing. It’s okay if the characters fall in love but no detailed sex scenes.

Fill this out. I can only have ten people, sorry.

This sounds a little like the TV show LOST.
I follow four rules when writing
1. Don't think. Just write.
2.Never take the pencil from the page when writing
3.Don't erase. Even if what you wrote didn't make sense
4.No need for grammar, punctuation, or spelling when writing

And when your done writing you stop and break all the rules

It's odd how everyone immediately thinks Lost when you have the stranded on a deserted island scenario. Personally it makes me think of pirates and marooning or possibly this old storybook I was in about five years ago called Stranded.

Looks like we need a male presense ^^

Name: Robert Dunn
Age: 23
Height: 6'1''

Description: Rob is often considered an ugly man for the large scar down one side of his face and his deformed right hand. However without these he would be an okay looking man, maybe even good looking. His eyes are a very dark brown, his hair black and he has a very sensual mouth and a well proportioned face in general. At the beginning of their time on the island, he hads just the mildest hint of a moustache and no stubble.
Picture: http://www.merinews.com/upload/thumbima ... face_t.gif
http://images4.wikia.nocookie.net/uncyc ... edHand.jpg

Personality: Rob isn't very good at dealing with situations he doesn't like. This leads him to be grumpy and over-dramatic. You'll find that he will shout quite a lot at the beginning and grumple complaints. He's unco-operative and difficult but he's also a fighter. Robert wants more than anything to survive, he always has and at heart he's a sweet but troubled man.

A Talent: Getting in the way, looking busy but getting nothing done, saying the right thing when least expected (Robert becomes much gentler and calmer when there are others who need caring for) and doing manly things. Despite his deformed hand, Rob is good at lifting, carrying and pre-dominantly left handed anyway so he can use tools better than most. If I had to name just one talent it would probably be fishing.

History: It's worth a mention that Robert got his scars and deformities three years ago. At 19 he got his college girlfriend pregnant. He wasn't ready to be a dad, didn't know where to start but his parents said it was the right thing and set the couple up in a small rental flat. A year later Rob was driving to the shops with his girlfriend and baby in the car. They were argueing and Robert took his eyes from the road. The car crashed through the side of the bridge and sank into the water. Robert broke his hand punching the glass out of his window. He was able to save his young daughter but his girlfriend died. His daughter is now safe at home with her grandparents and Rob has a photo of her in his wallet: http://img.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2007/0 ... 68x522.jpg

Likes: Children, red-heads, drinking, singing when drunk, fishing, being in the background.

Dislikes: Coconuts. He really, really dislikes coconuts.

Up for Love: Come on girls, you can't afford to be picky here! Sure he's a little rough around the edges but hey, he's sure happy there are so many pretty women around.

'Nother guy in the picture.

Name: Percy Diamondstone

Age: (between 11 and 32) 21

Height: 5 foot 7

Picture: none

Personality: Friendly. He is a ladies man and it seems like he can't go a day without some girl being fake-mugged so that she can have an excuse to kiss him. He never accepts, however, and forms close relationships. He can notice weird things, like a scorpion that will sting you if you pick from a certain tree. . Otherwise, he is a strong and fit man who can create nothing out of practically anything.

A talent: Smithing (his hobby), or wilderness survival.

Likes: Girls, The outdoors, Cheez-Its, peace.

Dislikes: kids, Doritos, extreme violence, the city.

Up for love: Yes. He is always searching for that perfect someone. (If thats o.k. with you Kaywiia, I volunteer for the person your character falls in love with.)

Other: Carries a hunting knife wherever he goes.

I'm up for this, I'm really into storybooks at the moment.

Name: Heather Sadie

Age: (between 11 and 32) 17

Height: Short, about 5ft 2

Picture: http://reviveyourlife.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/girl-smiling-hand-on-chin-hq.jpg

She looks kind of like this but younger with slightly lighter hair.

Personality: Usually bubbly and chatty however extremely shaken after the plane crash. She needs a sensible hand to guide her and she will eventually be restored to her full happy self. She is very optimistic once it is clear all danger is gone. It is very easy to get along with her.

A talent: She is very agile and can swarm up most trees. Where she lacks talent is in the fighting department. She is very opposed to violence of any kind, ever since her first boyfriend beat her when she said that their relationship wasn't working out.

Likes: Anything energetic, and chocolate.

Dislikes: Violence and insects.

Up for love: Yes but will need to be approached.

Other: She never carries a weapon and makes a loyal and true friend. Her mother died on the plane and she prefers no to talk about it.

I will start, but we still have room for one more.

***For a picture of the island we are on: http://images.travelpod.com/users/drodier/panama2004.1103919900.mvc-079s.jpg

Sasha

I stepped onto the beach, and resisted the urge to kiss the ground. I was tierd, exausted and out of breath. Five others ploped down beside me.

I got up, and looked around. The island wasn't small, I couldn't see the end of it, but I knew it wasn't huge either. There were tree's not ten feet from me, and I assummed it was high tide. A girl walked up to me, her black hair swished with the breeze and said cooly, "Who are you?"

Percy finally spotted someone. He had been wandering the island looking for survivors of the crash. He saw a man, maybe a year or so older than him, a distance away. He started running and shouting: “Over here! Over Here!” The man noticed him and started walking towards him. The man had a deformed left hand and a scarred face. Percy said to him: “Hey. I’m Percy. Who are you?” “My name is Robert. Just call me Rob, though.” said the man. Percy and Rob then walked along the beach, looking for more survivors.

Second post in this! Woot!

Vashi Anand
Age: 15

Height: 5'6

Picture: thick black hair, dark skin, not extremely gorgeous at first glance, but not exactly ugly.

Personality: Very much caught up in her own world. She is rather unaware and does not seem to care for much because of it. She talks softly and believes in her own wisdom. She can be arrogant and stubborn at times.

A talent: Since she's blind, her other senses are finely tuned.

Likes: Utopias, philosophers, time by herself, music, and food.

Dislikes: When people disagree.

Up for love: She doesn't believe she'll find it.

Other: Blind. Prone to random fits and sickly.
The wittiest thing is the simple truth.

Rob

Choking on the water in his lungs, Rob bent low over the sand and waited for the spasms in his chest to subside. He could hardly believe he had lived through the ordeal. His throat felt rough and hoarse, his limbs ached and his clothes were soaking wet. Dragging himself up he stumbled a few paces and squinted against the bright light of the sun. He hadn't gone far when he heard a strong voice calling out. He turned slowly, searching and then headed over in the guy's direction. It seemed the logical thing to do. Find people. Find out what happened. Find a way to contact the outside world. Get home. That was pretty much his plan.

The introductions were short and meaningless. Rob noticed that Percy looked pretty dry.

"You only just got out of the water?" Percy asked, looking at Rob's dripping clothes. Robert nodded, trying to wring out his top.

"Tide must have swept you on shore but it damn well left me to swim it myself," Robert grumbled. They walked in silence for a little while, heading in the direction Percy had been going before. The sand was rough under Rob's feet. He had kicked his shoes off in the water to better help him swim. The island wasn't very big so it wasn't long before they came across more people. Rob wondered how many had survived.

"Is this where the party's at?" Rob called out as they approached. He flopped down on to the sand and started to wriggle out of his trousers so he could wring some water out of them. It made sense that he ought to try and get his clothes dry before it was night and much colder. He wasn't about to freeze to death after all that effort of making it out of the water.

Heather,

I woke up on a beach lying on the sand. I couldn't remember how I got there, all I knew was that I was on my way to a holiday in Australia. And that the plane had started falling out of the sky, people had screamed and my mum...Crap! My mum! I scrambled to my feet and looked frantically around me. I saw a group of people a little way along the beach, I set off at a run.

"Excuse me! Excuse me, have any of you seen a woman about, this high with brown hair?" I asked indicating the height. I suddenly realised that most of them were older than me. A man, who on a dark London street would have looked extremely dangerous, stepped forward.

"Hello, I'm Rob" he held out his hand. I didn't shake it. "And, no I havn't seen a woman by that description." Shit. I made to leave but a tall girl with black styled hair grabbed my arm.

"I'm Sasha, you should probably stay with us." She said kindly. I tried to pull my hand away but she held firm.

"But..." I began, but she was already dragging me back to the group.
