Okay, i have been sitting on a idea for at least three weeks. At least. I need to start it now that i have it all planned out. The problem is, i cant figure out HOW to start it, nothing i write seems to sound good! I have like four beginnings that i threw away because they didn't fit the story. please help me, its a real dilemma!

Just start at what you know is going to happen. You could write a prologue that gets your readers into the story and then start writing what happens next or before the prologue. And don't fuss if your first draft is horrible! Just get it written down and then fix it up. Go and start writing. Even if your beginning is bad the rest might work out just fine. Then when you're done write a new start that works better. Happy writing!

I personally would just pick a beginning you can build on. It doesn't have to be well written, but something you can build your ideas on, even if it's 'Once there was a child...' or whatever. Just start. You can go back to the beginning later. Flowing into it will be the best thing for you. ^^

Yeah, often times you'll rewrite a beginning a bunch of times before it feels right. I'm on draft 16 and you'll never, Ever get anywhere if you just keep rewriting your beginning over and over. Like Kamas said, just take something you can build on.

Don't force yourself. I can't write anything I deem decent if I'm putting pressure on myself to write something. Just because you have an idea and it's all kind of planned out in your head, doesn't mean you're ready to just start it. Sometimes I sit on ideas for months or even years before a little spark of inspiration comes and I feel like starting. Granted, I kind of have a weird writing process so maybe this won't work for you. Anyway, just relax. It will get written when it's ready to get written. Wait for your spark to come and then write like crazy. Don't worry about if it's 'good' or not. That's what editing is for when you're all done.

If you're having troubles with beginning your story, just write a half fast beginning and then continue on writing. When you're ready and more motivated and such, then go back and rewrite/alter/completely change the beginning.
That's what I did and...I have yet to perfect it xD Which makes me wonder if I should be giving out such advice.
