I want to write more but I don't think it would be fair without letting Forever and Jok101 and the creator of Edward to chime in too. I really want to write more...
I am nothing
but a mouthful of 'sorry's, half-hearted
apologies that roll of my tongue, smoothquick, like 'r's
or maybe like pocket candy
that's just a bit too sweet.

*I'm sort of with you Jasmine, about waiting for Jok and Edward's creator, whoever can needs to keep going with this, or it'll die again, and I don't want that to happen*

Buds

I stepped outside for a moment. I looked around. I wasn't in any deep shit anymore, and I was pretty much free to do what I wanted. The plan was irrelivant to stop the fighting, but I was able to pick a side. I was free from the fighting.

I looked at the buildings across the street from the dojo; old laundry place, suit store, and one that I was glad to see exist-an instrument store.

I walked on in and looked around. I finally found the guitars in the heap of mess. Nobody had entered this shop in ages, so it was practically untouched. Nobody had much of a use for the instruments.

I finally found one I was looking for; a guitar with a built in speaker for an amp. It would be easy to carry, and a fine way to keep my music near by.

Yeah, that's right, I can play the guitar. I could play most anything by ear, and I'd memorized about 200 songs before that bitch Payton stomped my MP3 to pieces.

I pulled out one of the batteries from my pocket, and opened up the guitar's body. After a bit of wire crazyness, it was hooked up. I played a chord to make sure the speaker worked; it did. Another bit of time spent tuning the instrument, and I had a working electric guitar slung around me.

I climbed on to the roof of the instrument shop and stood up looking at the streets. I wasn't going to die just yet, and if I was, I wanted a little fun with it, and I needed music playing to think.

So, I turned the speaker to max and started playing the song that I was listening to when the player broke; "Shakin' my Cage" by Joe Perry.

The beach here would be fighting for their lives and lose. I'd die on either side. I planned that I'd at least die righteously, the way I should.

The beach kids started gathering around on the streets by the store. They looked at me and smiled. I was probably the only thing closest to entertainment that they had seen in ages. So, I decided to kick some ass for them. The solo came up, and my fingers were practically on fire I was so good. The giant crowd started clapping as I finished the song. I didn't know why, but I had started singing for the end. I wasn't that good, but it felt natural. I needed a drum player, a mic, and I'd be in business.

That's where my choice was; if these kids could be entertained by me, a pissed off guitar playing murderer, and that I was all they had left to enjoy, they had no right to die. I knew what I had to do.

I had to stay.

I gave off a last chord and bowed to the crowd. I saw Melinda and the others in the back. They were clapping too. I climbed down off the roof and walked to them.

"Alright, I'm stickin' with you guys, and we're going to die if we don't do something soon", I told them.

"What do you mean we're going to die?", asked Melinda.

"Will's waiting for you guys to starve, then he'll kill you all with his bare hands for the fun. From the looks of your guys' food supply, you've got two days at most. Will's the only reason Coates fights, and nobody's brave enough in there to fight him. We take down Will, then all of the fighting ends".

"First of all, you talk way too much", said Payton, "Second, how are we going to instantly strike Will?"

"I don't know, but if you want any survivors from the beach here, we're gonna have to find a way".

"Even if we do fight, we can't win", said Payton. Way to be optomistic.

"We either fight and win, fight and die, or run and die. This is one of those days we gotta roll the dice and hope for the best. If you want justice, you'll fight for it", I told them.

Melinda was instantly shocked as I said that. My guess, she realized that I was the voice from the beach. That's what I get by repeating a good ending line, but it wasn't like it would've mattered wether Melinda knew or not, right?

They huddled and started talking to each other.
"I'm fearless in my heart
They will always see that in my eyes
I am the passion, I am the warfare
I will never stop
Always constant,
Accurate,
Intense"

*Aww, Payton stomped on your music? She's sorry. :D *

Will:

This was what was great about having spies in your enemy's territory. I just found out today what our Buds was up to. I didn't expect him to be loyal to us anymore, but to run to the beach kids? That's what surprised me the most. He was stupid kid, I'd have thought he'd of run up to the woods and laid down to die. But unfortunately... oh well. Our plan was set a day later, now it'd have to be bumped up a day.

Too bad we had to kill our other informant, that 10 year old little boy. He was getting a little too close to the enemy, so we put a knife in his back. Spies are very replaceable fortunately. They actually mourned him after they found him dead on the dojo floor, that little bastard.

Tonight, I had a job to do. Buds was going to be easy to find. Our little spy told me of his brilliant performance with the guitar, so he should be very popular by now. And very unguarded. Someone is going to die tonight, and I think I know who. I walked pensively down the hall. We strike tomorrow after our major bump in the road is levelled out - tonight.

"Attention, I have a plan." All eyes turned to me. Actually the revolver in my hand, but that didn't matter. I told them the plan and they nodded like puppets.

I saw a little girl though, disappear out of the room. She had little blonde pig tails. She broke out into a run towards the beach. Ah, I have my spies, it looks like the beach kids have theirs. So they're not completely in the dark. I let the girl run down and tell on me, I had all the time in the world.
