More of my experiments with charcoal.

The first is my attempt to draw Winston Churchill and the second is obviously a German Shepherd.

Hehe, nice job, Daydreamer. You have great potential...

Winston
This was pretty good! I think some of the lines could've been darker, though. Also, what is that writing down on the left side of his shirt? Just wondering. :)

German Shepherd
Haha! This was so cute! But I think the tips of his ears need to be at the same level. The scruff of his neck seems a little weird, and the cross-hatching lines on his neck and going on down look somewhat sloppy. They detract from the picture because they're not really adding anything to it...more like they're just there. You know, like, for decoration?

Anyway, great job overall! Shiny gold star for you. ;) Please keep drawing--I'll be waiting to review! :D

Daydreamer, I have to say, you definately have a unique way of art and I absolutely love it! Just how long does it take you to do these anyway? (: They're so... amazing!

Winston does, though, look all disfruntled, which is my new word of the day! Even in real life he looks disfruntled, so I guess your picture matches that, and I think that's absolutely amazing! In truth, as much as I love drawing people and such, I can never get Churchill right when I draw him. He looks like a big, lumpy potato when I finish. :smt002

The german shepherd is really good too! I don't have anything to really offer that hasn't already been said by Fruits_Basket99Tohru. It's really good in the least!

Great job and I hope to see more from you!

In answer to your question Chupa, it only takes me about 15 minutes to do these.
Thanks for the review too! Any reviews are mucho appreciated!

And in answer to your question Fruits, that writing is just my signature and the date I did it.

Thanks again everybody!

Wow, great work again!

This time though the best picture can be chosen, and it is *drum-roll* the dog!!!

Although the Churchill is realistic and all i don't like it as much as the dog.

The dog on the other hand apart from the strange spiky thingy behind it is exceptionally well drawn, and with charcoal!

Wow, your certainly talented with charcoal and I'm guessing many other things too.

Well done! Keep it up!

Good gosh, Dreamer, these are impressive!

Shade minor detail more; the man's tie is a bit blank, and I think a little more shading would be better on him. Amazing work on that face, though.

I loooove the dog. Great work, though for some reason I feel like he should have teeth... but that would make him look vicious, right? What's the line behind the right ear? And, erase your guidelines, silly.

Amazing work; keep it up

Hey Daydreamer!

Wow, these are fantastic! I really like the Churchill one because of the detail on his face, although everything below it seems like is could use a little more detail, might be better that way!

The dog I also like a lot! My favourite parts are the eye and the nose, I just like the way that you've drawn them! The ears, however, feel a little weird and I think it might be better if the one furthest away (the right one, I think?) was slightly shorter and placed a little more to the back of the dog's head.

But wonderful stuff, really!

Okay! Winston is awesome, but the dog looks really weird to me. I may be biased because I have a german shepherd at home, but here we go! The lower jaw looks really flabby, as if the jaw curves when it actually should be straight. And the nose doesn't seem big enough... the germans shephers I have met have big noses that don't poof off the muzzle, which is what it looks like. Also, both jaws are too thin... there's no way that the dog could have any gums and teeth from the looks of it.

Good luck! :D
