A Little of Everything!! Points Up For Gabs

So, I finally went through the camera and cleaned off the card and such but I figured I would post a few pictures that were hiding in that silly little thing.

The first one here is a bit of a contest. I know just exactly how much money is in this pile. But can you guess? Whoever get's it right first or closest by Saturday the 12th get's 500 points.



These next couple are of my math project for the semester. We have to do things that are about a specific mathmatician. I picked Mary Somerville and did a minature of a sculpture of that already exists. Any suggestions to improve would be awesome.




And lastly...me!!! A slightly edited self portrait.

The money-heart is awesome! However, the background seems kind of dull to me, since it's just gray and white. Perhaps there's a way you could spruce it up. Don't overdo it, though, or you'll distract from the heart itself.

As for how much money it is, my guess is $5.00, or somewhere thereabouts.

I like the pictures of the statue as well, but I think the first one would be better if you had included its whole head! =D

You are most pretty, Lilymoore! I get the feeling that the photo editing made your face a bit blurry, but I wouldn't worry about it unless you want to.

These were all really good.

First Photo: I really liked this, as it was very creative, but the few loose pennies were kind of distracting, and I'm not quite sure about the purpose they served.

Second Photo: I liked this as well, but it seems as if you should have zoomed out a tad. The head of the bust is partially cut off, which is distracting.

Third Photo: Not much to say about this one. I love it. It wasn't photoshopped, was it?

Fourth Photo: Good picture, but I think you should have either smiled or kept your lips together.

Other then that, you're a great photographer! Keep at it.

Money Heart--this was super cool, I think. However, as Elinor said, the loose change sorta detracted from the pic. Everything else was very neat, though!

2nd pic--OK, very interesting. However, I think it looks more like a man than a woman, and the hair looks somewhat unusual towards the bottom.

3rd pic--once again, looks like a man to me. But this was almost identical to the 2nd pic's bust! Good job.

You!--very nice, very nice. Love the cute heart shape. And this is very random, but I love your shirt! Haha!

$11.94 That is my guess . I can't really say much for the pictures, pictures aren't what I normally review. For the pictures of your satue I think the eyes are a little crooked and it would look better if they had more depth, if they looked like real eyes with pupils. I don't know what the real statue looks like but I think adding that to the eyes would really help. Again with the photo of you it seems to get a little blurry around your eyes. I don't know if that is just me and I can't see or if it really is blurry. Hope that helps

You expected someone to guess, Mademoiselle? ... I'm still unsure what I should say to that.

My favorite of these is the second of the statue -- it looks artistic, and the warm light works well for this shot. The one of the coins is kind of bland, because we have the 'dead on' approach angle here, and it's kind of... well, uninteresting?

And... self portraits are difficult to criticize, but I will say it's a pretty picture.

i love the photos. they are so cool i have an i dea for you why dont you add like a poem for each and for your own you could write a little something about your self that would be cool

I really like the coin heart and I didn't mind the loose coins but it would
have looked better without them there. I also think there should have
been more light in the first pic as you couldn't see the main feature very
clearly.Still I really liked the photo so well done.

They were okay I mean the penny heart was amazing and beautiful. But the others weren't very good the sculpture was dull and did not have very much detail. The heart hands really I have seen that hundreds of times plus the last three were blurry.

Hello Lily! These are great shots!

1 - This is by far my favorite shot from you. The concept is really nice, it's like money is the basic building blocks of love (which isn't true) BUT STILL! This is totally a great shot, the concept is well thought out, the quality is kinda okay, it's just a bit grainy, the only problem I can point out are the coins being left out scattered around the heart, it makes it look a bit dirty. But still awesome!
2 & 3 - This is a great work, but the only detail is great. I can't really say anything about this from here. xD
4 - This is really cute, that girl's really beautiful, and so is the heart she has on her hands. the only problem is that the camera is a bit out of focus, so you better turn the sharpness on a bit, I love the background though. It's awesome

1. I really like this one. To me it reminds me that you can't buy love. Awesome job! 10/10
2 & 3. I like these ones. I normally don't like sculptures but I really like the side profile of it. The bottom of the neck seems too small to me, but that might just be me. Geat job though! 8/10
4. The girl is really pretty which goes perfect with the beautiful love theme in the photo. I think it's cool how the lips of the girl look like a heart also. That's really cool. I like how it's out of focus a bit, it gives it a soft look to go along with the love theme. I personally think that it would look better with a different background because the background distracts you with the pattern. 7/10
