First Avians, now cops. What next? Jess thought, rolling her eyes as the cop in front of her ask her to describe the Avians again.
"How many times do I have to tell you?" She sighed. "Half-bird, half-man. One looked like an owl, the other was a heron; a great blue heron." At he look the cop gave her she rolled her eyes again. "My cousin studied ornithology. Now, the last looked alot like a peacock; albino by the coloring. If you think I'm making this up, you have some serious trust issues."
"No offense, but we get alot of punks in here making stories up to cause trouble." The cop said.
"Oh, yeah? And how many of them can tell the difference between and eagle owl and a barn owl?" Jess leaned back in her chair. "Whatever, but I'm going to make sure Jon's murderer and/or murderers, as it may be, are caught and dealt with. There's no way I'm letting those creeps who murdered my friend go free."
"Alright, we're done here." The cops got up and left and Jess sat in the chair brewing. She was definitely not letting Jon's death go by without so much as an Avian feather to justify it. She was going to do something.
