Ok! yay!

Faye~~

My hair flurried around me, making if some were a distance away that it was some human cyclone in slowmotion. My jacket clinged helplessly to my damp body as I leaned over a much, much wetter one in a color of bright raspberries in late fall.

"Jon?" My voice managed to rasp.

Nothing.

"Jon?!?" A tear slid down my face and the pagan symbols of the Avians were strewn about already used on the victim.

"Someone help!!" I began to yell for my other companions, someone or something moved in the near corner of my eye.

Franco~~

"Where do you suppose Faye and Jon went?" I smirked, guessing at their location: not a good image for minors.

"Oh I can guess!" Georgie laughed as she poked the fire with a long stick, "You think I could brand someone if I got it hot enough?" She let out a laugh.

"Not a good idea," Jess laughed, "But where did they go?"

Something moved behind the group.

*thought I'd just open it up a little..*

Kageen

I watched the small group of humans, could I take them?
They laughed at each other, unbeknownst of the fate that had befallen their comrade. I shifted a little and my wings hit one of the branched hanging from the nearest tree. the branch swayed, catching the attention of the humans. I cursed.
'Hello?' came the voice of one of the males.
Knowing that I couldn't ever hide in the brown and green forest with my blue hair and wings I stepped out into the clearing and decided to reply, 'This is Avian land humans, you are trespassing. I will warn you once and if you don't heed you will have to bear the consequences.'
I looked at the small group and one of them stood up, I tensed, ready for a potential attack.

I watched from the brush as Kageen warned the humans, ready to attack in a moment. One of them stood, and I saw Kageen tense. I silently walked over to Kageen's side. The standing male's eyes widened, and he seemed to question whether or not they could take both of us or not.

"Why would we leave if we're not bothering you?" someone asked.

I laughed liltingly and stepped towards them. I looked the boy straight in the eye and chuckled to myself when he began to tremble nervously.

"We own this land, and we only ask that you respect that what's ours is ours and what's yours is yours," I said sweetly.

Suddenly, a young female dashed out of the woods to the little group, panting with hitching breaths. "I found... Jon lying dead... on the ground," she cried, beginning to sob.

Faye~~

My eyes widened at the crowd, two avians? The tears stained my cheeks but my mouth curled into a snarl.

"What are you doing here? This is a public camping ground?" Franco was being brave like he usually did.

"Public?" The avians looked confused, the blue one ruffled a bit more.

I thought fast, looking about my eyes caught the shine of the hatchet we brought to chop wood. In an instant my hands were around the staff, lifting it I swung towards the blue one raging tears coming down my face.

Franco~~

Faye had gone mad, absolutely mad! Here these bird..things were trying to peacefully get off "their" land and Faye was swinging the axe about. One of them caught the axe in midair, smirking a bit.

The crying female began swinging the axe around, as though deranged. Kageen stepped back, surprised at the human's sudden fierceness. I reached out and grabbed the axe with my talons, the blade missing Kageen's face by inches. I smirked at them all.

"We don't want to hurt any of you," I murmured. "But we will force you off our land if that's what needs to happen." I gently took the axe out of the her hands and placed it on the ground.

She looked at me angrily. "Can you bring my boyfriend back from the dead?" she hissed.

"No, of course not. We're avians not superheros," I chuckled.

"Then we're not leaving!" she growled.

Jess stared at the scene before her. Never had she seen Avians up close before, though they were smaller than she'd imagined, and Faye was acting like a total lunatic. They were in over their heads. Jess knew how to fight, but she had a feeling the Avians were better trained than their little group.

She blinked as a statement finally registered. "Wait. Faye, did you say you found Jon's body?"

"These beasts murdered him!" Faye shrieked, jabbing a finger at the Avians. "I found their markings all over the scene!"

"Don't you dare accuse us of such a crime!" The blue Avian cried.

"Peace, Kageen." The second Avian murmured. "Now, I'll say again, leave or we'll have to remove you from our lands by force."

A shiver ran down Jess's spine. "Guys, let's just go."
Llama 1:"Shh! Do you hear that? That's the sound of forgiveness."
Llama 2:"That's the sound of people drowning, Carl!"
Llama 1:"That is what forgiveness sounds like; screaming and then silence."

Captain Alden Kru'neer, Screela

With a whoosh of feathers beating against the still air, the captain was airborne, blood orange irises trained upon the forest floor, glimmering brilliantly in the darkness of the evening. He was still exhilarated from the human sacrifice earlier, and whisperings of Kosaron now fledged into excited conversations, but the fun of it was being dampened by the fact that his Screela were conversing with humans. He had to leave Tilt on patrol, something that was never good; the kid seemed to get himself into a lot of unnecessary trouble when left to his own devices.

With a thud his feet hit the ground, a flurry of leaves heralding his superior presence to the others. Wings extended, talons primed, he strode towards the other two, his face and body mostly concealed by darkness.

"Associating yourselves with humans?" he mused aloud, announcing his presence to the others, the tan interior of his wings disappearing as the huge feathered appendages settled upon his back.

"They refuse to leave the territory-" Kageen began.

"Then remove them," Alden quickly cut in, casting his dark gaze upon the dreaded four limbed monsters, who looked strangely innocent as they cried and whispered and whimpered in the clearing. He found no pity for the things, just contempt.

"Leave, Nariik. If you and your kind want any hope of survival, I would give up now. Kosaron will rise soon," his mouth broke into a smile, "And Man will no longer rule the Kreela."

Strange words of the Old Language seemed to scare them into departure, as they quickly scarpered, casting terrified, tear stained glances over their shoulders.

Tilt Sil'sren, Omik

The strange garbled cry of an injured Avian echoed faintly through the forest. Tilt arched his back in pain, the pale underside of his wings flashing brightly in the eerie darkness of the woods. Gritting his teeth, he leaned forward to examine the iron toothed creature which was slowly sinking its jaws into his ankle. He had never seen such a horrid thing in all his years, only heard of them in Alden's knowledgeable and chilling tales of the human kind. They use them to trap and enslave the Kreela, he had warned. Always watch where your foot falls in case they should bite you.

"Too late," he said miserably, running his hands through his sandy hair and feeling his small transparent talons dig into his skull. His black eyes cast rueful glaces over the gory injury lacerating his ankle. He rattled his feathers madly on his back, gritting his teeth as he tried to pry the steel jaws of the trap open, without much success.

Voices. Footsteps. In alarm he began to fight the trap madly, finding himself unable to withhold a gasp of pain as the cold teeth sunk deeper.Nariik! Nariik!

Alden gazed icily at the humans as they retreated, the axe wielding one being pulled back. I glanced at Alden and then swept my eyes back in the direction of the humans, 'You shouldn't use the sacred language of Kosaron so freely, he is too vast for them to understand and therefore the tongue of his people are also too vast.'
'What does it matter? Are we not to soon defeat them as it has been professed? Are they not to be purged from the world? Or do you say otherwise.' He snapped.
I looked at him, 'Peace, don't accuse me of such things. Now I am going to go catch myself some food; would anyone like to join me?'

Ambrosia

Ambrosia flew above the trees, watching humans at their daily work. The smell of smoke climbed into her lungs and she couldn't breathe. The humans used the power of fire too much, and she was getting tired of it.
I better get back she thought. They'll be looking for me. She swooped down past the green leafy branches and suddenly, was like a human again. She ran through the woods, loving the feeling of mud between her bare feet. She loved flying, and running. She loved to be free.
Sorrow lasts through this night
I'll take this piece of you,
and hold for all eternity
For just one second I felt whole... as you flew right through me.

I went a different way when we scattered, after that other avian had said something about some guy called Kosaron? Or something; it was hard to tell when you're trying to keep track of what the heck is going on.
Anyway, if he were correct, it would make sense to run a different way, because then, if that group got in trouble, at least I was out of it. Yes, it was a petty thing to think. But, well, I didn't care.
All I cared about was the scrunching of leaves and twigs as I ran, my heart beating as thoughts swirled around, like Jon's dead? No, that is not right. Jon can't be dead.
I stopped to catch my breath, before I heard something.
Yes, it was a stupid thing to do, but I couldn't help it; I walked towards the sound, and caught the terrified gaze of a trapped avian.
This guy is so evil you could put him in between two slices of bread and call him an evil sandwich.

Coming at you like a jetpack Shakespeare.

I glanced at Kageen, then at Alden. I stepped over by Kageen.

"I'm hungry as well," I said.

Alden turned and flew away.

"Let's go over here," he suggested, pointing with one wing. I nodded and we took off, both searching the ground for movement. Seeing something large running on the ground, I immediately nose-dived it, Kageen closely following me. I pulled up just before hitting the ground, then turned and chased the raccoon.

I had almost snatched the creature when something slammed into my side. I staggeredup from the ground to see Ambrosiastaring back at me. Out of the corner of my eye I watched my prey disappear.

"Oops."

Faye~

"What in hell were you thinking?" One of us said, most likely Franco. The anygry tears had subsided and now I was full out crying. My tears made my face shiny in the bright sunlight that showered down. It was still morning ish, but I didn't care.

I want Jon

The others spoke around me, but thier whispers were incoherent. I didn't care anyhow, my face found it's way to my knees and I sat in a quiet ball. Suddenly, catching the others off guard, my body shot back up leaving the tears behind.

"Franco?"

"Yes?" Never had I heard him so serious, the air was solemn.

"When can you get a plane?"

Kageen

Nariah dived down as she saw some pray, I continued to the lake, I was in the mood for some fish. I landed in one of the shallower parts and stood still, feeling the breeze ruffle my feathers. Silence.
After waiting a few moments, it came, a fish! I slowly crouched down and quickly grabbed it.

*lets shake this up a bit shall we?*

Franco~

Faye was insane, absolutely, positively insane gone cukkoo. This was saying alot coming from the back of my head, I sighed again as the last police officer asked me another question.

"So they killed- Jon was it?"

"Yes," For the last time I was bored, the human police man sat in front of me while Faye was being questioned with the others.

"We will send out the extermination team then!" The man looked happy, like he had an excuse to do something very bad. Oh wait he did.
