Name: Alden Kru'neer (meaning: 'The skies are his.')

Age: Looks 20, but is 49 in Avian years.

Gender: Male

Bird Counterpart: Eagle Owl.



Rank: Captain of the Screela.

Appearance: Alden is massive, with his 11ft wing span and incredibly lanky yet quite muscular appearance. He shares many traits in appearance with the eagle owl; reddish-orange irises, hard onyx black talons and disarrayed, rusty brown hair. He has a reasonably fresh scar on the left side of his face, starting from just above his brow and breaking off over his eye, continuing again to the bottom of his cheek bone. He usually dresses in ragged old clothing; an old ripped shirt and jeans.

Personality: Usually, he is quiet and aloof. Has an air of superiority around him that few dare challenge. Alden is often solitary, brooding by himself and mulling over his thoughts. He rarely drops his serious demeanor; he takes his position as Captain very seriously. He reserved banter and smiles for only his closest of friends. Though he is fierce and ruthless in battle, he is often reluctant to fight as he finds it 'too easy.' As for his temper, it is one that is wrathful and easily ignited. Pure hatred of the human kind has drove him to study them and learn how to hunt the things more effectively. He can command both languages to perfection and is one of the more intelligent Avians in the Flock.

Thoughts on Kosaron: Alden is a firm believer in the demon, and knows that one day he will provide revenge for the Avians if they do as he asks.

History: Alden was found injured by a human as a fledgeling, after getting caught in a net used to trap wild animals. Thrashing against the rough chords of the netting cut open his skin and badly twisted his right wing into an excruciating position. Luckily the human was one of the kinder of his species, and instead of turning the strange creature in or shooting him with his hunting rifle, he took the Avian into his home, raising him in secret. Arceu, Alden's brother, came looking for his lost family member and tracked him for many years as Alden was held prisoner, forbidden to leave the house and stretch his wings. Arceu calmly approached the residence at under the cover of darkness, demanding they allow his brother home. The father refused, for he saw the potential in profit from the strange bird people. The argument escalated, and soon Arceu had a gun pointed his way as he dragged his brother from the home. Arceu was shot dead that night, as Alden was forced to carry his deceased brother back to Heornn.

Name: Tilt Sil'sren (meaning: Silent Step)

Age: Appears 16/17, but is 30 in Avian years.

Gender: Male

Appearance: Tilt has extremely pale skin, even more so than the usual. His irises are such a dark shade of brown they look almost black, while his hair his messy and brown in colour. He's much smaller than the others of his kind; about the same height as the average human. His talons are small and translucent white, with a visible pinkish quick. He's quite skinny with not much power about him at all. He has very kind features and a great smile.

Personality: Tilt has very low self esteem. He thinks very little of himself and almost allows the higher rankers to walk all over him. He is extremely gullible and believes almost everything you tell him; but perhaps this is because he is incredibly quick to trust. He hangs on every word that Alden says and often quotes him, as a sort of bad habit. Despite his negative image of himself, he is incredibly brave and noble. His greatest flaw is that of jealousy, which is always present when he sees the fine wings and talons of the others and his tiny ones in comparison. It sometimes makes him do stupid things, the result often ending in Alden having to bail him out of a beating.

Thoughts on Kosaron: Alden says he's real, that he will protect him and the rest of the Flock, so he believes. However, he hates the cruel ways of the leader and often wishes he knew more about humans, to see if they really deserve the punishment given to them.

History: Lived a fairly miserable life until Alden took him as an apprentice, training him to fight. Often thinks of him as a brother because of this.

Other: Up for love. I'd like it if he could fall for a human ^^ (forbidden love is always good)

Name: Faye Andrews

Age: 18

Gender: Female

Appearance: Faye sports choppy dark brown hair and light sky blue eyes. Her complexion is light and she reaches a height of 5'6. She reminds most of a forest fairy because of her nimble body.

Personality: Faye is a nice person but she holds grudges for quite a while. She likes people in general and didn't hold anything against the avians till that bloody night. She has good intentions though and can befriend most anyone.

Relation to Jonathan Griffiths: She was his girlfriend

History: Faye was a dancer and performer until her graduation from high school. She met Jon during about the middle of her senior year and was following him to his college. Despite her parents warnings the school could not contribute to her artistic abilities.

Other: Up for love? That would actually be really super interesting if an avian fell in love with her (AWW!! SO AWESOME! someone please?)

Name: Kiamo Aer'in (KEE-ah-mo AIR-en) Means: Sky Dagger

Appearance: Kiamo has always been considered a great beauty because of her unique partial albinoism. She has pure white wings, silvery blue eyes and gray talons. Her wings are pretty huge considering she is a female (She has a ten foot wingspan). Kiamo has always taken pride in her fit body, but she doesn't flaunt it.

Personality: Kiamo Aer'in is ruthless. Her past (see History) has driven her to be a merciless killer and she is constantly looking for an opportunity to rise in rank. Although she is terribly fierce, she has a few close friends who realize her great potential and want to get on board with her. To these friends, she is very protective and actually can have a good sense of humor. If you're on her bad side, she has a very dark sense of humor and will point out all flaws. Also, she is definitely not above deciet and lying.

Thoughts on Kosaron: He is true salvation. The end.

History: Kiamo was born to the previous leader of the Screela, who was killed when she was young by an unprovoked/unexpected attack from a human. Since then, Kiamo emerged herself in the studies of Kosaron and fueled her studies with her hatred of humans. Through her fierce nature and impressive fighting technique, Kiamo was appointed to being a member of the Screela. This was the first time a female had been allowed into the ranks, and the men were a little angry about it. Soon though, they saw how valuable Kiamo was. Kiamo has earned her way into the elite ranks of the Screela and expects to come into a greater power ever more. (Also, she has her eye on impressing the Scree'en(love wise)

I'd also like her to meet a good human, so her perspective on humans is thrown off.

Name: Ambrosia

Age: Looks 25 but is actually in her thirties

Rank: Screela (Or whatever the warrior one is it okay if its a female? Or does it have to be male to be a warrior?

Appearance: Skinny, but tall. about 5'9 and no one lets her forget how tall she is for a girl. She has flashing yellow eyes like her hawk.

Personality: She is quick, and wants to be important. She always fights for what she believes in, and never lets anyone get the best of her. You could say she's kinda self absorbed and prideful.

Thoughts on Kosaron: Really, she thinks he's stuck up. She thinks he think he's Mr. Hotshot and that he's always "Oh come on lets do this!" and is bossy. She really doesn't like him all that much, but she really wants to be the hero.

History: She was considered one of the "Non-skilled" ones. She worked hard and they almost didn't allow her to be a screela, but she finally convinced them. A lot of the time she still goes of by herself and of course, she gets in trouble...and then she gets in more, because she talks back...

Other: She isn't interested in love, or doesn't seem like it, but she really is deep down inside.

Name: Georgina (Georgie) Tanner

Age: 16 and a half

Gender: Female

Appearance: She has very short hair, tufts spiked up, dyed a kind of dark blue; this hair is what makes her stand out from the crowd. She isn't especially beautiful, but cute/pretty, pert nose, etc. etc. She also has quite pale skin, which she really wants to tan. Has four piercings on her left ear, and a sapphire nose-stud.

Personality: She's reckless, always running off one direction and then another, trying to do all the daring jobs, playing with everyone's mind. But she does know when to keep still. Very, very still. As for avians, well, she thinks that they're a bit like people; either they're a bunch of stuck up little prigs, idiots, hypocrites, etc. or they might be OK. She likes to follow people around to see if they are any of the above.

Relation to Jonathan Griffiths: She was a friend; not one of his closest friends, but she was the one who brought the SAS Survival Handbook, so she was always in the picture, even if that picture was 'Georgie Tanner grossing out Faye Andrews with descriptions of which bugs you can eat.' A year younger, but she hung out with them anyway.

History: Georgie had a mother in high places, a CEO, and so, she went to the right private schools, is going to go to the right college, etc. Personally, she thinks that her mom's a bit of a prig, who lords it over her dad like he doesn't exist; like a female anglerfish, in a way. However, she also started to hang out with Jonathan Griffiths and his friends, and felt belonged with them. Then the camping trip began.

Just another point for Forest Queen: Ambrosia is too young to be screela, perhaps you could age her up a bit? And also, Kosaron is a demon, not an actual person It's just I noticed on the 'thoughts on Kosaron,' section you said stuff that made you seem like you thought he was real. Maybe not xD

Here is my character...

Name:Kageen Rathu'ur (meaning: Keeper of shadows)

Age: Looks about 20-25 to a human but is actually 51.

Gender: Male

OK I think I just went a bit mad with the pictures...

Rank: Second in command of the Screela.

Appearance: Kageen is quite tall and lanky, his wings are two shades of blue (see above pictures) he doesn't have talons as such because his bird counterpart is an aquatic bird, they are like fingers at first, however at the ip fo them he has sharp hooked nails whick he can use quickly and with precision. His eyes eyes are yellow and his hair is a light shade of blue too. His skin is very pale.

Personality:he didn't get to his rank with his fighting skills but because he is very intelligent and a highly renowned tactician throughout the Avian race.


Thoughts on Kosaron: Kageen is a devout follower of Korason and believes that humans should be purged from the world. His opinion may sway if he were to meet one of the kinder of the humans.

History: Whenever Kageen was a fledgling, he would sneak into the nearest human village and play with the children there. One of the children's fathers were killed by an Avian and they turned on him, beating him and tearing at his wings. Hurt and not understanding why he was being attacked, Kageen fled, leading the humans to his settlement- there was a massacre. When he was taken in by one of the Screela at the time, he learned of the demon lord and of his campaign. Determined to have his revenge, Kageen vowed to be of service to the Scree'en and worked hard to be as useful as possible.

Name: Nariah Hasbree'ek (meaning 'divine grace')

Age: Looks about 15-17, but really 27

Gender: Female

Appearance: Nariah is slender and graceful, though on the short side. She has silver-y blonde hair that's slightly curly and pale skin, and her eyes are a pretty turquoise. Her talons are long, curved and white while her wings are white with a slight blue tint to them.

Personality: Like her bird, she is silent but beautiful and graceful. She's crafty and cunning. She seems very innocent and slow, but she does great sneak attacks and knows how to surprise her enemies. She is a very sweet person, even when she doesn't really like someone, which makes it even more difficult to know wether or not to trust her.

Thoughts on Kosaron: While she admired Kosaron, she secretly disagrees with some of his methods and ideas, but she'd never willingly reveal that. She secretly wants to rule the Avians and humans herself.

History: She has always been well liked among the Avians, both for beauty and friendliness. She was sort of tom-boyish, I guess you could say, because as a young Avian she was known to be able to beat up any of the boys. She was accepted to fight early due to her fighting skills and quick wit, and moved up faster than anyone else. She is now the youngest Screela among the Avians, and hopes to soon become the captain of the Screela and then the Scree'en.

Gender: Male

Appearance: Black hair and vibrant blue eyes than dance with anticipation most of the time. He stands at a tall (for a human) 6'3 and takes advantage of his height. His hair is messy and his skin is a light porcelain. He reminds most of the devil in angel form.

Personality: Franco is boastful, funny and has a nerve wrecking thing of a personality. He lives for life's cheap thrill yet only stops for the best. He smiles plenty but only gets serious in the most dire of situations. He is actally legally listed as bipolar.

Relation to Jonathan Griffiths: Best friend

History: His parents were both pilots for the military exposing the young Franco to things most little boys would wet their pants at. He has his pilot's licence and constantly tries to get his friends to come with. They don't trust him with their lives however..

Other: Male human and up for love.

Name: Jessica Myers

Age: 17

Gender: Female

Appearance: Shoulder-length curly blonde hair, grey-blue eyes, 5'7", athletic build

Personality: Fairly outspoken, loves to have fun, and is very creative. She likes to observe her surroundings, but she's not overly cautious. She tends to see both sides of an argument, though her view on the Avians is still one-sided. She's a people-person, but still likes some alone time.

Relation to Jonathan Griffiths: A really close friend, one step below being a best friend. They didn't grow up together, but they'd become great friends over the last three years.

History: Jess's mother and father were killed when she was young and she's been living with an elderly couple for the past six years. She had been a bit of a loner until she met Jon.

Other: Up for love with either Avian or human. Doesn't matter.
