Random YWS Browser Stats

Just a random stat for today concerning which browsers YWSers are using:

45.4% of YWSers use Internet Explorer.
31.75% of YWSers use Firefox.
15.02% use Safari.
6.49% use Chrome.
0.78% use Opera.

If you're not sure what browser you use, you're using Internet Explorer. If you don't know what a browser is (despite using it every single day), you're using Internet Explorer.

By the way, I highly recommend Chrome for anyone (but especially for people using Internet Explorer). It's insanely fast (even on slow connections and on old computers), and has some cool features. I'm still using Firefox, but I'll probably switch to Chrome once it starts getting more add-ons.

Second best Browser (Best if you like add-ons): Get Firefox

* Chrome is not available for Mac users quite yet.

For those who know what a browser is, you'll find this video funny if you haven't seen it already:

"Google predominates the market, obviously." XD I love it when they try to know what they're talking about, but just don't.

That said, Google Chrome is awesome! It's so much faster than Firefox.

Additionally, if you're on a Mac and don't know what browser you're using, you're using Safari. From what I can tell, Macs come with Safari installed already.

I think my computer wants to stick to Safari – whenever I've tried downloading another browser, it won't let me open it.

For Chrome, there's no official Mac version quite yet.

Safari and Firefox are what I use.
Firefox has to be the sturdiest thing in the world, a it's fun with the new Personas.
Internet Explorer is a pain.

I know, right? I just made the switch from IE to Firefox today, and I love all the cool apps you can add. The personas are awesome. ^^

I'm somewhat terrified to download anything new to my laptop. With my technological aptitude, chances are I'll click the wrong button and the entire thing will spontaneously combust on me.

I use IE, but I guess I can't complain about it being a pain since I've never had anything to compare it to.

Oh my. That's a serious flaw in our internet education.

I blame you people.

(I myself, am a Firefox person, though my brother keeps telling me to get Chrome.)

It really bothers me that in that entire video, they don't really explain what a browser is. I know what it is, but they did nothing to futher the education of the 92% of the population who has no idea what a browser is.

That said, survey vids make me lulz at people.

It's weird that so many people use IE, because I have found that YWS works better on Firefox.

I'm considering switching to Chrome though... I've heard it is amazing.
