Here we go. My first storybook!
Plot:
Living on the street of New York City are homeless kids. They have nothing, absolutely nothing. They live only for the sake of living. And nothing else, besides maybe a small flicker of hope.
During a power outage of the whole state of New York, government officials come mysteriously during the outage. They take the homeless kids rather harshly, as if rushed. They leave the adults behind to their insanity; they've already been diseased from living on the streets so long.
The kids are taken to a facility and tests, brutal tests, take place. Something goes awry, and two die, and others follow. They are moved to a confinement center in the country, sick and dying. They are contagious, and the disease is one like the next Plague. Few escape, and even fewer find refuge with the one who can save them, the retired tester who has changed his ways, called none but Sir. It's everyone in the confinement center's desperate hope to escape, and find a way to live. 'Sir' knows how to stop the disease, or is trying to develop a cure, anyways.
Will the kids live to tell their tale, or will they die before a cure is found...?
