Bond jumped out of the way just in time, and watched as The Hulk charged right through the wall. Pieces of plaster and wood exploded everywhere, raining down apon everyone in the room, hitting some, and leaving them stunned. Something inside her told her to get out, get out now. It was her chance.

She dashed over to the nearest window, pushing Aqua and JD out of the way. She took a flying leap through the glass, protecting her face with her arms. Landing with a roll two stories below, she took off running as fast as she could into the jungle. She heard someone let out a piercing scream,

"Get her!!!"

She heard the wailing of an alarm behind her, and willed her aching legs to move faster. Tree branches tore at her clothes, roots tried to trip her, and she was running out of energy, but she couldn't stop, she had to make it, she had to get out, she had to find June.

She ran until she reached a high barbed wire fence. She stopped, and judged it to be about fifteen feet tall. She backed up, and sprinted towards the looming fence, the only thing standing between her and freedom. She threw herself at the mesh, her target to get herself as far up as she could. Hitting the cold metal about three feet above the ground, she clung on tightly, afraid of losing her grip and falling, losing precious time. She scrambled up, her boot tips barely fitting into the gaps of the twisted wire. when she reached the barbed wire top, she quickly took off her black leather jacket and laid it across the jagged bits of metal. She pushed the wire down, making it easier to get over. She swung her right leg over, and was midway into getting her other leg over when she heard someone yell.

"There she is!"

Surprised she lost her balance, she gripped the jacket to try and steady herself, but it was too late, she crashed to the ground. Sitting up dazed she looked down at her jacket, it had been cut and scratched, and darn it it was her favorite jacket too... She stumbled to her feet, into the woods on the other side of the fence, hoping that there was a road around here somewhere.

Mira walked onto land and let out a sigh of relief. She had begun to feel a little sick to her stomach from the submarine rocking back and forth. Her head still hurt, but she was ready to attack the shore base. She didn't think it was going to be too hard, considering nobody would think that she, of all people, could be evil. At least, that's what she was hoping for...

Irish ran up to Mira. "MIRA! Help me get out of here! Please, Ripples keeps coming after me with Gsp gone just show me the portal you threw her through and I'll do the rest myself!"

Mira

Mira bit her lip and stopped. The long line of giraffes came to a halt behind her. She looked at Irish, guilt eating away at her. She had saved Lil Sis; she doubted they would care if she saved one more.

"Okay, Irish. Listen to me carefully. You'll go with two giraffes to a glowing door. They'll know how to open it for you. However, you can't let anyone see you going through the portal! Okay?"

Irish nodded and Mira called two giraffes over.

"Be careful..."

"Thank you so much Mira!" Irish quickly tacklehugged her and followed the giraffes to the small portal.

She waited as they slowly opened it and it began to glow. "Thanks guys!" She said, smiling.

Suddenly, off the in distance she heard a distant yip. Ripples. "Holy CRUD GET ME OUTA HERE!" And with that Irish jumped throug the portal to land on Gsp on the other side. "GSPY!" she said hugging her tightly.

Gsp let out a shout as something landed on top of her, sending her sprawling to the ground. Someone wrapped their arms around her tightly. She heard a familiar voice. "GSPY!"

Gsp groaned. "Hey Irish. Would you mind getting off of me? Please? I think you may have broken a few of my ribs..."

Irish jumped off of Gsp, her face pale. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to! Here I fix!" Suddenly Irish's random magicatastical healing powers shot out of her finger and healed Gsp's ribs. "All better, and now I can do this!" Irish jumped forward and tacklehugged Gsp. "I'm so glad I found you!"

Gsp was knocked over again, and had the wind knocked out of her. She hugged Irish back, taking deep breaths. "I'm glad you found me too, but maybe we should figure out where we are."

SiSi

(wow, I've been gone for a while! so much to catch up on...)

SiSi grimly walked out of the room, giving the Boss a hard kick in the head as she passed, then returned to the original YWS prisoners' jail cell. She stood at the window which Mo had left and thought about everything that had happened in a period of about half-an-hour. *is that right? or should it be an hour?*

She suddenly felt sick and clutched her stomach. *I dunno, this is totally unlike the real me! :P* Taking short gasps of breath, she forced herself to the nearest restroom.

SiSi opened her eyes. She was in a misty world, surrounded by tall evergreen trees. Taking a deep breath in the peace, she relaxed and walked around this strange place. The soft, dewey grass muffled the sound of her feet; not a thing was stirring except her. No birds called, no water trickled, the trees did not sway, and everything was dead silent.

Suddenly, a hooded ghost-like form materialized beside her. "Aaaahhh!" SiSi was about to take off running when the mysterious person stopped her.

"Difficult times are ahead," it rasped. "You will be tempted, very sorely, to rejoin the evil side. I am warning you right now--do not. It would be the biggest mistake of your life. Instead, meet up with the others on the light side to discuss what you have found after being a secret spy for them at the evil's headquarters."

"And then...what do I do?" SiSi asked timidly.

The hooded figure turned its eyes on her. "You will know what to do," it replied calmly. After this astonishing statement, it vanished into thin air. SiSi stood there for a moment, then started running back, to where, she didn't know.

* * * *

SiSi woke up. She'd apparently blacked out in the bathroom. Her head was still coursing with the amazing events of her dream. Is it all true? she thought. Or was it 'just a dream'? Unsure of the answer just yet, SiSi turned to the mirror determinedly. She had a plan. And she was going to put it into action. Oh, yeah.

*sorry for the extremely long post!*

Mira stopped just outside of town; the giraffes fanned out, stratigically placing themselves over the countryside. The girl rubbed her fingers across the amulet laying against her throat. A million questions entered her mind: Would this work? Would she be able to fight the people she loved? Had Lil Sis noticed what Mira had slipped into her pocket?

(Oh my goodness. I feel so bad for neglecting this! I should make a long post or something...)

Of all days to be out giraffe chasing, why did it have to be a hot one? As Mizzle and June slowly slogged on towards an unknown destination, June wondered if she was hallucinating this all. She pinched herself to make sure she wasn't dreaming.

"June," Mizzle croaked, "got any water?"

"No, but if I remember correctly, there's a stream that runs right this way."

"You mean you know where we are?" Mizzle's eyes widened and her jaw dropped.

"No, no," June corrected, "what I mean is, we came straight from home, right?"

"Right..." Mizzle said uncertainly.

"And, the road leads straight back to the house, no?"

"Well... we took some turns."

"So, if I'm right-- which I'm pretty sure I am, there should be a river... a stream! Of water! Not far off from here!" June leapt from where she had dropped herself and dashed for a clump of trees. Mizzle stared after her in disbelief; clearly she was losing her mind. A minute ago Mizzle would've thought her too tired to walk...

She had no choice but to follow.

-

Mizzle's knees ached and her arms were freshly scratched. Bugs were diving at her and the trees were too dense to see clearly. June, however, was tearing through the brush like a mad woman.

"Almost there!" she cried excitedly. "I can see the clearing ahead!"

Mizzle mustered her strength to hurry. She wasn't too sure how excited she would be to drink from a stream...

And they reached the clearing! Stretches upon stretches of grass with a faint line of trees and sky in the distance...

... and not a single drop of water in sight.

Mizzle gave an exasperated sigh and threw her hands up. June mutted a half apology-half scold for herself. She glanced around the empty field and sighed.

"You said there was water." Mizzle's dry voice was sharp as a dagger.

"Yeah," there was no use in self defense at this point.

"I'm ti--"

A loud scream sounded in the distance and they grabbed onto each other and froze, eyes wide with half terror, half curiosity.

"Do... Do you think..." Mizzle began as she regathered herself.

June released a fraction of a nod and remained staring into the distance.

-

And they were running, like a pair of frantic deer towards the sound that they heard. June came to a sudden stop.

"Miz!"

Mizzle stopped and turned around. "What?"

"I think..." June began and then decided against saying what she thought. "I think we look silly."

Mizzle threw her hands up, muttering something about June needing to grow up and grabbed her wrist, pulling her after her at a half-jog.

They stumbled over something, slid down an overhang and landed on a rather steep steppe. June groaned and Mizzle accidentally jabbed her side. She was just about to say something when the call came again, this time from below.

Peering carefully over the side so as not to fall, they saw too familiar heads down below.

Morgan and Fire.

**I love how you call me Fire June! :D **

Irish heard a thwack in the underbrush above her and Gsp, and looked up to see June and Mizzle, causing her to scream with joy.

"June! Mizzle! Oh thank God!" She scrambled up the cliff side and threw herself at them, hugging them tightly.

The wind began to pick up, blowing a strand of hair into Mira's face. She sighed and pushed it aside, her eyes on the town in front of her. It was almost time...

However, she still had a while before the invasion would begin. If she just went for a short walk, nobody would even know.

"Plus, I think I deserve a little bit of time to myself," Mira muttered and turned off her headset. There was no need for anybody to bother her while she relaxed.

Listening to the mindless babble and watching the exodus all around me cistracted me from keeping Mikael in his secluded corner of my mind. Suddenly he struck out.
So this is it?, i thought calmly, This is the day you finally try to break out?
"Of course it is you fool. All along it has ben my destiny to change the tide, reset the balance in favour of evil." The words may have some from my mouth by they were spoken in the dulcet tones of Lord Mikael, Archlord of the Blacklands. Judging by the feelings wracking through my body he deserved his full, melodramatic title.
Without another i simply sat down upon the floor and began to meditate. To the outside it would look as if a (admittedly skeletal) man had simply sat down and fallen asleep, but within my mind a titanic and terrible ensued. The author versus the character. But this cataclysmic episode could well decided the fate of this world, for were Mikael to win and gain a body in his full and malicious glory, he would be as Alexander the Great. He would come, he would see, and he would conquer.
I have looked into the eye of the storm and stared it down. I am an adrenaline junky and i know no fear.
