"You don't have room for another dead freak, do you?"
Jonathan rolled his eyes but shrugged. "I don't have anything against you being here." He was still a little distracted by the fact that the girl wouldn't give him her name. He'd just given her a rather inconvenient free meal; the least she could do was tell him who she was.
He didn't voice this though. It wasn't that big of a deal.
A small group of students approached, headed by a demon he'd been avoiding since he'd arrived at the school. They said his name was Asher. They also said that he took great pride in charring things along with any other practical jokes he could manage.
Jonathan stood up a little too quickly and almost fell over.

Behind him, Ezra heard the sound of footsteps approaching. He turned round and saw them just as the zombie, Jonathon, did. It was Asher, Asher with a load of other students. After the minor confrontation this morning, and a general hatred of each other, Ezra really wasn't that up for another fight. But, he supposed, it was always best to get things over with. He'd already been chased round the whole damn school by one demon, he really didn't want to be chased by another. Maybe a fight would be better rather than the whole chasing scene. Ezra really wasn't a fan of that. "Watch out," he murmured to the other zombie next to him, "here comes trouble.."
"It is curious how often you humans manage to obtain that which you do not want."
"Watch out, here comes trouble." i heard a girl say, as a group of students milled their way toward us. "Hmm. Who are they," i asked. the girl shrugged. "Well the demon is Ezra, and the rest, well who knows." she said. "Hm, looks like somebody's about to get hurt." i said and chuckled. "It's not going to be me." She looked at me and smiled. The other boy smiled too. " My names Johnathon," he said. "So Johnathon," i began. "How do you feel about bloodshed." i asked "Obviously Mrs. Vampire here loves it." "Well, it doesn't phase me if that's what you mean." he said. "Good," i replied. "But let's hope this demon comes in peace."
"Asher," she greeted the demon she had previously talked with. "No need for your blood any more; got a tastier bite," her voice was once again soft and as velvet.
Uh-oh. Isaac was with Asher. That was no good. That damned demon only knew how to pick up fights and he wasn't much of a fan of vampires. At all.
"Serena, we better go." She whispered to Serena.
"I agree," she whispered back.
"Where are you going?" I heard Isaac's voice turn at us, while we were about to walk away.

As usual, he was taking a little time off class to fly, staying at an absolutely ridiculous height above the school. Far below him, he could see the tiny spots of heat that were other students moving about their day. Probably all stressing or overly concerning themselves with one thing or another. Not like him, the only thing that concerned Chris was when his next flight was going to be, and if anyone looked like they'd try to stop him.
He frowned a little as one of the other students began to rise towards him. Another alan, although only a crow, apparently wanting to talk to him. Few flew this high for other reasons.
"Chris?" He shouted when he was close enough. He got only a nod in reply, Chris was curious, but not enough to fly low enough to make things comfortable for the other student. The other boy sighed, but continued. "I heard a couple of vamps talking about you. Don't know exactly what about, but it had something to do with us having more decency than most of the races in the house. Seemed to want to talk to you."
The alan didn't respond for a good, long while, drifting in a lazy circle above the other. Why would vamps want to talk to me? He tried thinking about all the possibilities, found himself coming up empty, and decided that though it pained him, he was going to have to speak with them.
Folding his wings, Chris shot downwards in a dive. Before he hit the ground, though, he opened them them again, curving back upwards enough to land on his feet. He could see a small knot of other students down one of the corridors, including vampires. Now, while he didn't know which vampires he was looking for, the fact that these were associating with zombies and demons told him that they might be a good starting point.
On the other hand, he could see Asher, Isaac and Lilith heading towards the same group from the opposite direction. Isaac might be an alan, but he does hate vamps with a passion. Maybe now's not the best time to be speaking with one. He almost laughed at himself. Since when was he afraid of anyone, let alone another of his kind? He'd do as he willed, which was, at the moment, finding out what vampires wanted with him.

Isaac smirked smugly, wings extending out in unison with his arms as he took a few steps forwards towards the girl. She continued to back away, muttering to her companion. His cold talons glinted like black half-moons in the dim light of the hallway as his smug grew more sinister. "What's the rush, parasites?" Asher was now next to him, a smile tugging at his lips but his jaw was taut. Isaac's wings came together across his back with a snap as he cornered the too at a dead end. Casually, he leaned against the wall and lit up a cigarette, without asking Asher for a light. He had pissed him off with his betrayal, mingling with the leeches and even going as far as to offer his blood to them.
He blew two plumes of blue smoke out his nose as the vamps made an attempt to run. Taloned hands with the ability to crush bones with the slightest contraction latched onto Scarlett's wrist.
"C'mon girl. Stay for the party," he grinned, coughing another puff of smoke into the air and cackling, wings beating against the air.
“Poetry is old, ancient, goes back far. It is among the oldest of living things. So old it is that no man knows how and why the first poems came.”
"I'm so not in the mood for this," Scarlett said, using the other to hand to with a gulp take of the Alan's hand off her wrist. She raised her foot more quickly than he could see and kicked him in the diaphragm, sending him several meters behind. Yup, super strength and speed rocked.
She was strong and healthy, after what seemed to be the best meal of her life. "What have we done to you?" She asked him. Parasites? They hadn't even talked to him! They didn't want to be in a fight, they did not want problems. Stupid Alan.

Jonathan groaned and followed Isaac. He was going to get beat to a pulp, a daunting prospect even if he couldn't feel it.
"Hey you!" he shouted, hoping he sounded more confident than he felt. "Leave them alone!" The girl did seem to be doing fairly well for herself. It suddenly occurred to him that getting involved may not have been the best idea.
Isaac's orange eyes flicked towards him.

Seriously, my character has just disspeared! Will someone please pull me back into the conversation with Jonathan, Scarlett and all of them?

He scowled a little, seeing Isaac grab Scarlett's hand. He needed to know something, and these vampires might be the key to it. But the zombie seemed to beat him to it. "Hey you!" He shouted, "Leave them alone!" Isaac's eyes swung to regard the zombie, and Chris couldn't help but allow himself a small smile. This would be interesting.
Scarlett took advantage of the opening, though, and a kick sent Isaac flying several metres back. Damn. Now he's going to be too damn pissed to listen to anything I've got to say.
He stepped forward, wings opening a little to block off the corridor. Isaac glowered at him. "Chris. You're stopping one of your own for those bloodsuckers?"
Chris gave a shrug, "They know something I want to, apparently. I'm not about to let you kill them, at least not until I have what I came for."
