Paul shook his head. "I-I promise I'm not gonna run."

Reuben stepped in front of Paul and glared at Moonchanger. "You gave me your word," he hissed quietly. "Don't harm the boy."

Sharona

It was time to intervene. As much as I liked Moonchanger, even I could not deal with some of her behaviour. I'd lived for too long to just let things lie. As much as I felt like taking a back seat sometimes, I had been alive at the same time as some of these puppies grandparents and that meant I felt the need to iron out their mistakes.
I stepped between Reuben and Moonchanger, my form seemed to slender to hold between a snarling wolf and an angry male vampire. Turning to Moonchanger, I placed a slender hand on her shoulder.
"You should listen to Layla. We want you to be part of the pack, we really do. But if you distance yourselves, if you don't let any of us help and if you insist on arguing every little point; then you cannot be fully part of the pack. It's nothing to do with how you were made a wolf or how you're different to anybody else. It's about what you do for the pack."
I turned away from Moonchanger and faced Reuben.
"Believe me, vampire, none of us shall hurt you or your brother unless we have a great reason. It would be a lot better for all of us if we were to be slightly more civil."

At this, I walked away again and leant against a tree at the edge of the clearing. I would enter again if they needed me.
"It is curious how often you humans manage to obtain that which you do not want."

-Spock.

Madmoo, I've tried to keep your character in it, but I don't know if I was portraying her correctly :( I'm really, really sorry if I didn't.

Moonchanger

I jerked away from Sharona. What did she know? She didn't know how it felt, how I felt. I felt different all the time...and now, I felt I couldn't do anything right. One minuet I was trying to kill a vampire and a human for tresspassing on our territories, and now, suddenly everyone was pissed at me...even myself.
Paul looked at me. It disgusted me that a human and a vampire were watching a werewolf grow weak inside. I let my shoulder's sag and I saw the moon appearing from behind the clouds. I turned away from my pack, tears starting to soak my fur, and I began to run. I wanted to run from this...Why was this happening? Why had I brought this upon myself?

and hold for all eternity
For just one second I felt whole... as you flew right through me.

Reuben watched the wolf run off, an odd look on his face, then turned back to Layla and Sharona. "The sun will be coming up in a couple of hours. Is there anywhere I could hide myself?"

Paul had returned his attention to Reuben. How had this happened? Was it his fault?

Moonchanger

I ran far away, I had to get away. I had to get away from myself, away from that vampire and that human...that human. That human who cause all this! I growled with frustration as I ran, but didn't stop. I couldn't do this anymore, I just couldn't.

((I'm still waiting for a response. If I don't get one after a while, I might just have them do their own thing))

((I think I'll get Marc into that conversation, somehow.))
This guy is so evil you could put him in between two slices of bread and call him an evil sandwich.

Coming at you like a jetpack Shakespeare.

((I'll go :) ))
Layla:

The pack was in mild chaos, although I made sure Rayen was still watching the vampire and the human. I was torn. Currently, a pack member was fleeing, but this vampire and human did need to find somewhere dark for the morning. I paced back in forth.

"Listen, I need the fastest runners here to show me what they've got. Go talk to Moonchanger and make her see sense. Sharona, Rayen and I will find these two a good place to hide. Rest of the pack, guard camp, in case this leech somehow got word to the others about where we are," I said. It seemed like a good plan to me, and Sharona didn't object.

I grabbed my clothes from my hollowed out tree stump in my mouth, knowing that during the long day I probably wouldn't want to be in wolf form constantly. Sharona and Rayen did the same and soon our unlikely group of three wolves, a vampire, and a human were on our way to finding darkness.
