Lorraine
I saw the girl come in, followe by Grayson. I burned with the rage when I saw her. It was just bad timing, I thought, but I'll ge to them, and I swear I will.
I narrowed my eyes when I saw he. She was a very skilled fighter, didn't got the looks of one, but she was very talented.
"I was told you wanted to see me" she said in a determined voice.

The Rogue got up from his chair and staggered toward her, examining each of her moves. I just expected that he would make the right decision. I stared at her, not taking my eyes off her for a second.

"So, you're the one who got my Lorraine injured?" he asked her.
"I don't know what you're talking about" she lied, her expression not showing fear.
"It'll take a very skilled fighter, almost killer, to at least injure her" The Rogue said, now standing in front of her.
I thought about the proposition the Rogue was about to do. If she was that skilled, it would be better to have her on our side than against us. Keep your friends close but your enemies even closer. I thought letting put a small smile.
"I have to admit that you're quite a talented girl" I said, walking to her. "Your skills are unbelievable for such a young age"
She flinched a bit when i went near her. If the case was to keep her, then we had to offer her more than gold.

**Hey Muff, I don't want to sound rude or anything, but right now they think that Maria is a man. She's even been faking a deep voice. So, if you don't mind, would you edit that? Also, they can't see her face. Hood. ;) **

"Hmm. I heard you brought down trained knights and Lorraine single-hand. I want you to join me and my Court, I'd make all your wildest dreams come true." said the Rogue, his voice soothing.

"Ha! I would never join you and your disgusting Court. Nothing in millions of years would make me join! You're disgusting." the hooded face shouted. He turned to spit on the side, while the guard held on tighter than before.

"You cannot refuse an offer from the King of the Underground, the Rogue of Montagi! You don't have a choice anyways," the Rogue sad with a smirk as the guards dragged the hooded man to his knees in front of the Rogue.

The man spit at the Rogue's feet and the Rogue laughed " You are part of this Court now! Unhood yourself."

"Never." replied the man at his feet.

"As I said before, you have no choice. A physical deformity is not to matter here. Guards unhood this man!" said the Rogue casually.

The hooded face's protection came down and long dark hair fell out to cover the face again.

"A girl! A girl beat knights and Lorraine! This must be a farce! You must have the wrong --" the Rogue stopped to stare at the girl, her hair a curtain in front of her face. "Show me your face."

The girl kept her head hanging, unresponsive. The guard grabbed her hair pulling her face up. The Rogue's mouth hung wide open. He knew this girl. He had killed this girl himself. Shock was apparent on his face, his mouth open and eyes as large as disks.

Maria laughed, "Remembering me? Let me refresh your memory, you killed me. Well almost at least because I ain't a ghost. See that scar on my face, I'd show you but monkey brain here is holding on quite tightly."

The Rogue stood up, shock in his face was still apparent. "How?" that single word question echoed through the room. "How are you still alive? I killed you myself."

Maria laughed coldly, "I guess it wasn't my time to die, because you see. A long time ago an fortune teller told me, I'd be part of group. And together we'd bring down a very powerful and dark man. I'm convinced it's you she was talking about. So I doubt you would be able to kill me."

The shock faded to amusement on the Rogue's face. "I guess I'll have to make sure you don't escape me this time" he replied softly, as he pulled out a beautifully decorate sword from behind his throne. " This should be long enough to pierce you through and through no?"

Maria face remained unresponsive as she watched the Rogue's every movement. How was she going to escape this one. She just had too. The Rogue began to walk circles around Maria and the guard, smiling as he fiddled with the sword.

"I'm actually impressed Maria. You are the only who seems to have escaped me. I'm very impressed."

"Ha! You know very well there are other, once terrified children who have grown up warriors," Maria spit on the ground again. " You know very well what that other girl did to Jas and Grayson. One her own, she brought two of your strongest down too their knees. You're lucky she was as injured as she was or they would both be dead."

"That child?" said the Rogue laughed. "Well she's as going to end up dead as you are."

At those words, the Rogue cut and head over the Maria sword raise. The guard shoved her head downward exposing her spine. Maria squirmed uselessly in the guard's iron grip. When Griery was above Maria, the tip licking her, that child, Krissy dashed in, her extra throwing knives in hand. The sudden entrance surprised the Rouge and all the others in the room. Taking advantage of the hesitation Krissy threw her knives, faithful and true they hit their marks. One hit the guard in the chest and the other in the Rogue's sword arm. As the guard fell to the ground, Maria ran for the exit.

"Get then now! I want them both!" screamed the Rogue, a hand on the firmly implanted dagger, blood trickling down his chest.

The other guards jumped into action, chasing them out the entrance. They all ignored their fellow guard on the floor, blood gurgling in his mouth. The Rogue turn a shade of pale green as his healer prodded the dagger.

"I want them both. I'll kill them both myself. That's a promise I make today." he whispered to himself.

Later:

The guards filed in head down and panting. The head of the guards stepped forward, bowing to the pale Rogue.

Maria

Krissy and I ran. We ran for a long while, aware of the guards pursuing us. We made it back into the main part of town. My heart was battering against my ribcage. Well, he's seen me. He knows I'm alive. I'm never going to be able to show my face in public without his filthy servants on me. And poor Krissy too. He's seen her now. He'll stop at nothing to kill me and her.

Krissy wasn't doing very well. Her injured leg amde it hard for her to run, and she was tiring quickly. I had to let her rest. But first we had to lose the guards. An idea popped into my head. I took Krissy's hand and swerved left, ducking into a dark alleyway. The street urchins played here, and had built small walls out of wood, cloth, and pretty much anything they could find. I recognized a door propping up one roof, and a wheel in another wall. They were flimsy, but they would hide us.

I pulled her behind one. The guards raced past us. I hardly dared to breathe as I heard their feet hitting the ground just two feet away. They passed and the alley grew silent. I released Krissy's arm. "I thought I told you to stay home and rest love."

Krissy scowled at me. "I saw Grayson goin' towards th' square. Rememberin' the fight you got into this afternoon, I though' 'e might be after you. I was right." I embraced Krissy tightly.

"I know love. If you hadn't come along I'd be bleeding on the floor of the Court right now. But now the Rogue knows I'm alive, and he knows you're dangerous. He'll be looking for us."

Jas

"I can't believe this!" I exclaimed. "The people who attacked the Rogue are running free in the city, and I'm stuck in bed."

Grayson, sitting in a chair on the other side of the room, nodded sympathetically. "I know exactly how you feel."

I rolled my eyes, ignoring the spike of pain the small action caused. "Oh, be quiet. At least you can stand up without feeling like you're going to faint. At least you got to go out into the city this morning."

"Would you please stop complaining?" Kayla snapped. "It's your own fault you got hurt."

"It's not Jas' fault," Grayson said. "I doubt you could have done anything if that horseshoe had been flying at YOUR head."

The room fell into a tense silence. I leaned back against the pillow, trying not to look as surprised as I felt. Grayson never took sides when Kayla and I fought, and he had never defended me before.

"I'm going out to look for those girls," I said suddenly.

"Did you not just hear what we were saying?" Kayla said. "You are on bed rest. You can't even stand up, let alone run all over the city."

I sat up, my head spinning. "The Rogue has some magical potions under his throne. I know he does, I've seen them before. He'll let me use one if I tell him I'm going to to go after the people who attacked them."

Kayla rolled her eyes. "The Rogue's best guards haven't been able to find those girls. What makes you think you can?"

"Trust me, I can," I said. "Grayson and I are the best trackers in this whole court. Who caught the Gold Thief three years ago? Me. Who single handedly tracked down that crazy duke? Me. If anyone can find them it's me."

***lol. don't worry Crocks, I'll try to follow the story**

Lorraine
A girl, a girl had injured me. I was about to take my dagger and throw it to her, but Krissy suddenly came in and got them out. I was infuriated, and even more when the guards came back and said that they los them.
"How could you lose two miserable girls?!!" I shouted to them, I was angrier than the Rogue itself.
"Lorraine, control yourself!" the Rogue shouted to me.
I breathed heavily and slow, trying to calm myself and not make a bad decision. I walked around hte room, thinking of what had just happened and looking and hte humilliated faces of the guards.
"I'll kill them. I swear to myslef I'll kill them. My lord, the guards will never do such a hard task"
I siad, almost pleading for the Rogue to allow me to go look for them and kill them. And not only them but all her miserable friends who think can win a battle wiht the Rogue.
I scuffed and started to walk out the door, but before i went out the Rogue said something.
"Not now Lorraine, the time will come"
I turned around and walked to him once again, quite unbelieving hte words he had just told me.

GRAYSON

Grayson laughed. "Conceited much?" He laughed, shaking his head.

Jas turned to glare at him and Grayson raised his hands as a show of peace.

"Sorry. All I'm saying is that these girl's are different. You are in a weakened state right now. You'll need all your strength and so will I," Grayson sighed. "For now, we're stuck doing nothing."

"But I'm not weak at all," Kayla whined. "And it's not like I'm the helpless little girl everyone thinks I am."

Grayson raised an eyebrow. "Oh, really?" He asked, grinning. "Prove it."

Kayla instantly kicked Grayson's feet out from under him and swiftly grabbed a knife from against her stomach, holding it against Grayson's neck. He nodded.

"Point proven. Nice, Kayla. Sometimes I forget why the Rogue keeps you, but you've refreshed my memory," Grayson said, truly impressed. She was a very good fighter. Possibly even at his and Jas's level.

"Let me track those girl's. Lorraine and I should do it while you and Jas rest," Kayla said, eagerly.

"Well, I didn't say all that," Grayson replied. "I need to go with you."

"No way. Both you and Jas are injured, end of story. We can't risk both of you getting yourselves killed because your injured for the moment. You're both too important to lose," Kayla responded.

Grayson sighed. For once she was making sense. "Fine. Go find Lorraine and go track those girls, but remember, don't attack them just yet. Come back for Jas and myself and together we'll attack. Got it?"

Kayla smiled and nodded and headed out to find Lorraine. Jas looked pissed. Grayson sat in a chair across from her.

"Well, I'm not leaving you here alone. You might end of trying to go after Kayla and I'm not having that. You can't mess this up Jas. This is the best plan we have. You need to stay in bed and heal before you can go attack anyone."

Krissy:

I could feel the burn in my leg as I ran with Maria. I wanted to scream, it was unbearable. I was slowing us down, it was obvious by the way Maria tugged at me. When Maria pulled them behind the wall, relief overcame me.

"Are you alright Maria?" I panted quietly after the guards had passed. "Please tell me he didn't hurt you."

"No, I'm shaken, that's all. You shouldn't have come I tell you, you should have been in bed resting." Maria urged.

"And have you dead right now? Never will I regret this, even if it causes damage to my leg," I whispered back, rubbing my leg gently. " Plus I got the Rogue prett' good no? I threw that hard enough to kill a guard and plant that dagger in his arm. That dagger ain't gonna come out without killing him. So I'm guessing I've left my signature on that bloody man. Now he know I exist n' out to get 'im." I smiled to myself.

"That's not good love. He is out to kill you now too. No one hurts the Rogue that badly without paying for it. But I am indebted to you. If you had listened to me for once I'd be dead for sure this time. We've made our mark. We've challenged the Court, there is only one way out of this mess."

Krissy smiled to Maria in the darkness of the shadows. Two girls had just seriosuly injured almost all of the Royals, killed a guard, permanently injured the Rogue and got out of it alive. This was the beginning of a beautiful ending.

"Kill 'im and all his dogs" whispered Krissy as she tossed Maria ragged cloaks that lay beside her and smeared her face with mud.

One another note: If anyone wants to quit let me know. It's the perfect opportunity since another fight is obviously coming. Also, I need one person to play another one of Krissy's friend. All of the others seem to have forgotten about this storybook. You can pick one of the abandoned ones. Preferably a boy because this is a very female based story at the moment

***Here's for my second character. He is a boy-since we're in need of boys-and one of Krissy's friend. So I'm bringing him in.***

Daniel
He was looking out his window preparing ot go to his workplace. That awful bar he worked at. But there was something that was worrying him, he hadn't known about Krissy in weeks and he was worried of what could have happened to her. and thee was alwyas the fear of being hte target of his sister since he had left the Rogue and joined Krissy. He had some ideals to fight for and the Rogue was not persuing hte same ones. If he had to kill he was doing it for what he thought was best, not for what the Rogue told him.
So with that thought he went to his room and changed his clothes, his blonde hair falling all over his face. as he was changing he heard a oud desperate knock on the door. it was very unlikely for people to visit him but the knocks were getting more desperate and he suddenly heard his name from behind the door.

"Daniel, Daniel, open up" Krissy. He left whatever he was doing and ran to the door and opened. She was there with one of her friends, Maria he knew was the girl's name. But he focused on Krissy who looked exhausted and sick.

"come inside quick!" He hurried htem and helped maira get Krissy inside. Once they were sitting he saw Krissy breath a little more easily.

"What happened, you look terrible" Daniel asked.

"I was got on a fight with... Jas and Grayson and they injured me...but I couldn't stay home and let her face the rogue alone" She sid, gasping a little.

"What the hell would Maria be doing with the Rogue?" He asked turneçing to her.

"I got on afight wiht the knights and suddenly your wicked sister got in the middle and I injured her, so that's all and the as the coward that she is she went ot tell the Rogue"

"to join them" He said. danile knew very well that Maria was a strong fighter, very skilled and could be lethal. He imagined why Lorraine had told them.

"You have to rest" he told Krissy.

"NO, I have to go" She retorted.

"krissy you're staying and Maria is taking care of you, if you need anything you just tell her"
She scuffed but he didn't pay attention. She was injured but at least alive and he thanked for that. He was now in the middle of this, and was going ot do all he could to help Krissy.

Maria

I led Krissy to a chair. "Sit down and rest love, you need it." Krissy tried to argue, but I held up my hand. "Krissy." My voice wasn't mean, but firm. Krissy sighed and didn't say anything.

I turned to Daniel. "I can't go home tonight. It's not safe. I hope you don't mind company." Daniel was about to reply when I heard a commotion outside. I hurried to the window, pulling up my hood as I did so. There was an old woman in the street, being pestered by a few young street urchins.

I was about to turn back to Krissy when one of them pulled out a knife. The woman looked genuinely frightened. I groaned and went to the door, rushing out onto the street. I grabbed the boy's shoulder. "What do you think you're doing?"

The child turned, a shocked expression on his face, along with a good deal of dirt. "What are you doing?" I repeated. The child put his weapon away.

"Nothin' miss, honest!" I glared at him. "All righ', we was tryin' t' get some money miss." I bit my lip. I couldn't blame the kid. Him and his little group looked half-starved. I sighed and reached into my pocket, then stopped. I had an idea. "Listen kid. You can be sneaky, right?" The child nodded. "I'll give you some money, but only if you do me a favor."

About two minutes later

I smiled as the kids ran off. The woman had fled. They were going to gather what information they could on the Rogue, in any way they could, and come back to me here in two days. I turned to go back inside, but a dagger flew past my face. I began moving instantly. I ducked and swerved as another dagger flew at me.

Someone came out of the darkness. "Gryk." I snarled, pulling out my daggers. He smiled at me, then ran towards me. He pulled out a short sword, about a foot and a half long. There was a metallic clang as one of my daggers hit his sword and slid off.

I stabbed his left arm with my free dagger. I wrenched it out of the flesh on his arm. He let out a scream of pain, but kept fighting. I admired his detirmination in spite of myself.

Then a shout. I scowled. Lorraine. How did she fix her arm so quickly?

I didn't have any more time to think as Lorraine flew at me, machete glinting in the moonlight. The door to Daniel's house burst open and Krissy burst out, followed by Daniel. They both leapt into the fray.

The fight lasted a long while, and I saw that Krissy was exhausted. Then Gryk came at me again. Time seemed to slow as I threw my dagger at him. It spun around once, and embedded itself in his chest. Everyone froze, staring at Gryk. He stood there in shock for a second, and looked down at my dagger. He let out a gurgle and collapsed onto the ground, a puddle of blood forming under him.

Lorraine screamed and came at me again, her machete raised. I didn't have time to react as a sharp pain originated from my cheek. I let out a screech of pain. I felt blood pouring down my face as Lorraine turned to attack again.

I would have been finished then, if it hadn't been for Daniel's quick reaction. He leapt in front of me, pulling out a sword as he did so. Lorraine, surprised by his sudden appearance, swerved. Daniel stuck his sword out and cut Lorraine's side. It wasn't deep, but it was enough to send Lorraine skittering away.

** Note: Gryk is dead because Firefox gave up his character to Crocky and she did not want this character anymore.**

Krissy:

I stared down at Gryk's corpse contemplatively. His crimson blood soaking through his shirt and onto the street. His death would anger the Rogue extremely, and this was the beginning of a war. I watched as Maria wrenched her dagger out wiping off the blood on her skirts. Her cheeks was was covered in blood and I reached out to touch it. My sight suddenly became blurry and I staggered from exhaustion but Daniel caught me just in time.

"Thanks" I murmured softly.

Daniel carried me like a child back inside. I turned to Maria.

"You killed him Maria. I can't believe you killed him. One Loyal down four to go" I whispered, suddenly my leg sent a shock of pain up my body and with a moan, I blacked out.

The Rogue:

"What! Gryk! Gryk is dead?! How!" screeched the Rogue.

"It went all so fast my Lord, on moment he was fighting so well, next thing I knew he had a dagger in his chest." wheezed Lorraine, holding her bleeding side. "My brother was with them, and now I am certain the Krissy girl is injured"

"That's worthless to me! You just lost a teammate, and a strong fighter. These girls and now your brother will die for this I promise you Lorraine. Even if I have to kill them myself." shouted the Rogue.

A healer pushed Lorraine away as the Rogue steamed on his throne. It obviously worried him that two women and now Daniel could kill one of his best fighters. This had to be dealt with immediately. The Rogue touched his shoulder softly. He could feel the part of the blade they had been able to remove poking out, he promised himself he would kill them if it was the last thing he did.

Lorraine.
My right side was bleeding awfully, my beige shirt was stained with blood. The only image I could see was my brother's bright green eyes burning with rage and swuinging his sword to me. It ached a lot, I could walk andmove but this was terible and Gryk was now dead. The face of the Rogue just sent chills down my spine.
The healer had done all he could to ease the pain and heal the wound, it was better now, aout two hours now, it was all better.
I got up slowly and tried to walk toward the salon where the Rogue was sitting, his face deep in thought and anger.

"My lord" I said quietly. "I promise, I swear that even if it's the last thing I do, I'll kill them, kill them all"

"There's your brother out there" He said, still not looking at me. " Would you kill him?"

"If you tell me to do so, be sure that my brother will no longer exist" I siad, the anger in my voice too obvious and unbelievable even for me.

"Then there you have your next task, get your brother out of my way" The Rogue said through gritted teeth. "But you'te not doing anything for now, I don't want you dead, at least not now"
I bowed and went away, thinking about what I had to do now. If my brother was in the middle of our way, he was surely dead now.
The pain in my side was becoming too much, even unableling me to walk properly. I began to gasp, my breathing was dificult, to difficult. I began crying and fell down just in the entrance of the rooms.A suden moan wen out of me and my vision began to blur., when I hear a distant voice call me.

"Lorraine, Lorraine" It was coming near. "I've been looking for you"

"Lorraine, what happened to you" The person who was calling me knelt beside me and examined me. It was Kayla.

KAYLA

She was shocked. First Jas, then Grayson and now Lorraine.

"Gryk was killed. He's dead. I'm fine compared to him," Lorraine replied. Kayla gasped and fell back on her butt.

"Dead?" She asked. Lorraine nodded. Kayla's eyes flashed, angrily.

"You should have waited for me!" Kayla shouted. "I was coming! You and I were going to attack together. Lorraine, why didn't you wait?" Kayla asked, hysterical.

"Kayla, be calm," Lorraine spoke, calm herself. "Listen to me. There is no way we can kill those girls alone."

"Watch me," Kayla replied through gritted teeth.

"Kayla, be reasonable," Lorraine, sighed. Kayla shook her head.

"Everyone's fought. I haven't. It's time I showed what I've got and this time I'll be fighting for everyone," Kayla said, angrily.

Kayla helped Lorraine up and led her to another room. "I'm going Loraine and no one will stop me."

With that said, Kayla started to track the girls.

---

Kayla had followed them for a while now. They must have been a little anxious because they hadn't been very direct about where they were going.

Kayla grinned as Krissy and her friend cautiously walked into a small little house. Kayla shook her head. It was night now and almost too easy for Kayla to slink around in the dark. Though, that's what the Rogue had trained her for.

Soon the girls were only too comfortable inside the warm, cozy home. Kayla held back a fit of laughter. She would make it warmer.

Kayla lit a torch and held it against the bottom of the house. It caught fire instantly and Kayla lit more torches, throwing them inside the house. It was time that those girls got what they deserved.

Kayla looked at the burning house and laughed, running back to tell the Rogue what she had done.
