Keiran
Keiran was at a loss for words. How could they pull this off? And all under Whiteside's nose! It seemed impossible to hide so many, so close to the "factory". Well, that was an exaggeration. There weren't that many. Maybe six, excluding Derrick and Jaidev, at the very most.
His main concern was sitting Lupa down; it was important for her to get as much rest as she could.
He sat her in the sun, which would do good for her healing body. She smiled at him, and he grinned back. Cradling her head in her arms, she quickly fell asleep.
Keiran thought she would be all right, as long as the wounds didn't get infected, and there was little chance of an infection taking over her human body, which could fight that sort of thing much better than her canine one. He was no doctor, but anyone could read the signs: her eyes were bright, and if she was in her wolf form, he was sure her ears would be perked up and her nose would be wet. All to the good.
He settled down next to her, for lack of a better place to go. All these strange people, emanting unfamiliar scents, set him on edge. The urge to snap at passing feet and hands overwhelmed him.
Behind him, a scent grew stronger as it approached him. A dog? Keiran thought. Not quite. But what? It had a underlying hint of rodent. Whatever it was, Keiran did not like it.
"Is she all right?" asked the person. A girl.
"What do you think?" Keiran snapped, immediately on the defensive. He had no way of knowing this girl was trustworthy.
The girl stepped around him a little bit. She looked closer at Lupa and blushed. "Sorry," she said.
Keiran felt his own face flood with heat. She had just been asking, and he had snapped at her. This girl clearly presented no harm to him. He relaxed a little.
"It's fine. I'm just a little on edge today."
"You sure you're okay?" she asked.
He nodded, looking down at Lupa.
"I'm Allie Summers, by the way." He looked up to shake her outstretched hand and mumble, "Keiran. Nice to meet you," before looking back at Lupa.
"So what happened, anyway?" Allie said.
Keiran sighed. He wasn't in a mood to tell anyone what happened, but he couldn't rightly say that, not without hurting her feelings. He turned around on the ground to put him face-to-face with Allie. He took a deep breath, and started from the beginning. He would tell her the cold hard facts, which required no type of personal input. With the sound of Lupa's measured breaths to comfort him, he began.
*It's okay, Little Wolf!
He doesn't act so friendly at first, but what you wrote wasn't super different. Sorry that I changed some of Keiran's dialogue, but I wanted it to sound like him.
