*sorry about that...

Gryk

I smiled as i looked from the window, a carbon copy of myself going with the other lab rats on the car as they fled the warehouse. It was a good choice to use one of the corpses as a decoy. Now, it will give me some time to do actual work here before my carbon copy would fade in a couple of hours. Corpses such as those never last long.

I walked safely to a large door where the lab rats are held and gave a smile.

behind me were sprawls of blood from a quick fight. I stretch my arm before i press my hand on the cold steel of the door. With enough force, i bolted the door open in a single shove feeling the bones of my arm crack but it soon recovered instantly thanks to the corpses.
The lab rats that were in the cage all looked at me with surprise and shock. I walked my way into it looking at each faces. I so wanted to devour them but that wouldn't me unless they piss me off.
At the end, was a cage where a child was caged in.
"Can't believe they stoop to something so low." i murmured as i opened the cage before i asked the name of the child. The kid, a girl, told her name before i address to the rest of the lab rats.
"Be free, let me be your master and i will give you great things. Be free, and not let me be your master, then I'll let you have your way. Be free, let not be your master and rebel against me, then i will devour you as quick as possible."

i said aloud before i opened the cages and waited for the freed lab rats to make their choices. A large number decided to have their own way and i let them go. Besides, they are no different from me. A few of them tried to fight back-must be an effect of their capture- and i devour them with my hand that took less than a minute to finish them off.

After a while, a few maybe five or six stayed with me along with the young child. I nodded in satisfaction that i finally had a group of my own.
"Now then," i said, "Let the real games begin."
John McClane: Drop it. It's the police.
Tony: You won't hurt me.
John McClane: Oh, yeah? Why not?
Tony: Because you're a policeman. There are rules for policemen.
John McClane: Yeah. That's what my captain keeps telling me

Roberta

The scientist blinked groggily. She didn't have the same trouble remembering what had happened this time. The ground moved underneath her. It felt like they were in a car and driving somewhere. I wonder where they're taking me...

"Hey, look," came a whisper. Roberta's head snapped up. Most of the guinea pigs from earlier were around her in what looked like the back of a vehicle. One of them was watching her; they knew she was awake now. She was still tied up, but she couldn't feel the gag anymore.

"Wh-where are we going?" she asked in a panic-stricken voice. She tried to make herself more comfortable by shifting around; it didn't help much. "Someone answer me please!"

Lyanna sat in the driver's seat, her hands gripping the wheel so tightly that her knuckles were whiter than her skin. Her eyes were wide, and she hit the pedals so hard that she wouldn't have been surprised if one of them punched through the floor.

She swung the wheel around as she narrowly missed smacking into a small white car coming at her. Adrenaline pumped through her body, causing her limbs to shake. She saw red and blue flashing lights in the rearview mirror.

She just floored the accelerator, coaxing it to speed up another twenty miles per hour. She didn't know where they were going, but they were getting away from the lab, and that was all that mattered.

The car nearly smashed into a peice of cement sticking up in the middle of the road, saved only by Lyanna's reflexes. They went into a tunnel that was lit by orange lights. When they got out of it there was a fork in the road. She swung the steering wheel left at the last second. The car clattered along the road, minus the fender.

Lyanna shook her head. If we don't get out of this thing soon it's going to fall apart underneath us. She thought.

She heard a siren. She checked the rearview mirror. Several red and blue flashing lights were following the truck now, screeching. Lyanna saw that ahead was a stretch of straight road. It would be risky, but she would have to try it. There was a bridge above the road. Perfect.

Lyanna waited until they were just getting under the bridge, then closed her eyes. She would have to get the timing absolutely perfect. She imagined it breaking in half, falling down onto the road.....

There was a huge crash! as the cement structure collapsed to the ground, nothing more than rubble. She opened her eyes again. The flashing lights were gone. She smiled to herself.

The next thing she knew there was a solid wall of concrete flying at her. Then everything went dark.

No I totally forgot about this when school started and I really wanted to be in it! Can anyone pull my character MJ in? If not no hard feelings.

((Rory, if you want you can be the one who wakes up first. Lyanna's kinda... Indisposed at the moment, and I don't think anybody else is going to post tonight.))

((Yay! I like MJ. Ok, they escaped from the facility in a truck. Most of the lab rats are in the back of it, along with my character who is a scientist. Lyanna evaded the police and had a wreck, so she's unconscious. I'd have my character do something, but she's been hog-tied because she's a scientist and a hostage. So if you want to get up and move everyone out...))

MJ

I sat up abruptly. I looked around at the others on the ground, the crashed car of no use to us now. I calculated that I had only been out maybe a second or two. I didn't feel any pain, I never did.

It was completely silent on the road. I listened harder and could hear the sounds of the Puget Sound. I calculated that we had just barely gone out of Seattle. I stood up swiftly and tried to determine if anyone was dead. They were all still breathing with strong heart beats. I sighed releif, I think it was releif anyways.

I stood looking around trying to figure out the best way to go. I could take these people all somewhere safe, I knew I could. I went over to one of the crashed police cars and dug through for a map and found one in the glove box. Everything I knew about human life I had learned from a computer. It told me all I needed to know about the patterns of people and what is where and what happened when after I was reborn. I had longed for this exact chance, to be in the real world, not in that lab.

I found a good place for us to go, a place barely on the map at all. It was quiet and we could hide there. It would take us roughly 14 hours and 49 minutes to walk to DuPont so we would need alternate transportation.

I figured that everyone would be out for at least the next hour so I began to run up the road. In the distance I saw a house, an old house surrounded by forrest. Washington had many trees, it was the evergreen state. The landscape was hilly but I mad it there in no time and hot wired the large van. It had a full tank and I drove it back to the group just as people began to wake up.

Lyanna was conscious, but only just. Her breathing was sharp and irregular, and she felt herself already tumbling into darkness. Her entire body was in pain, and she knew she wouldn't last long unless someone got her out. She took a deep breath, even though it hurt badly, and uttered a single word.
"Help."

a crash...how pathetic that my fellow lab rats crashed just after they manage to escape without me. I looked closely happy that my carbon copy was still tehre but it had a large wound by its side. I know that i cannot heal and it will increase the time for the copy to disintegrate. I am hoping that it will be gone in less than a hour especcialy with that wound.
Behind me, the smoke rising from the destroyed warehouse appeared up from the trees but it is not the end. There are more warehouses across the state but that did not matter, with me and my team...it will be easy. All i need are my fellow lab rats to join my groups.

"Any problem?" the child asked me holding a large sword by her hand. I grinned as i looked behind to see the other members of my group. Three females including the child and four males ranging from 13 years old to forty-five.
"What else can we do?" a large man asked. I ignored the child woes and peered at a distance. There are some cars heading to the place where the lab rats are while around them, the rogue lab rats are roaming around. They acted to each other like a death match.

"Silen," i said to a young woman with black hair, "Go help our fellow lab rats by the crash site. Stick with them until i say them to."
she nodded before she dissapeared into thin air. AS she left, i told the rest to follow me. I do not where to go but i better take care of the rogue lab rats before any of them do some trouble and showing themselves to the public.

*guys...sorry, if Gryk won't be talking to other characters becasue i'm trying to set a plot so that this storyboard won't die quickly.*

*is that okay? if not satisfied then i'll change it*

((I don't have a problem with it. It's interesting))

For the third time that day, Roberta woke up from being unconscious and wasn't in her bed.

There was a little bit of blood trickling down the side of her face from where she'd bumped it against the side of the truck, but other than that she didn't seem to be hurt. She saw the jagged piece of glass from a broken window lying nearby and for a moment thought about cutting her bonds, but of course it was no good. With the way she was tied, there was very little chance of her getting into a good position.

She looked up when she heard footsteps approach. "H-hello!" she called. "Help!"

The door opened and a young woman with dark hair was looking in at them.

Christina "Angel"

The van wasn't hard to climb out of, since Christina had been in the back with the others. Shein was close behind her.

"It's so beautiful!" Christina said. She had never been outside before in her life, and it was fantastic! She never wanted to have to go inside ever again.

"Yes, it is much better than my cage." Shein mused.

"Oh, Shein," Christina said. "You never were much fun."

Shein shook his head and watched Christina spin around the small clearing around the van. She eventually couldn't help herself, and sprung into the air. It felt so good to stretch her wings and to fly in the real world.

"Get down here, Angel!" Shein shouted. "We can't be seen!"

Christina reluctantly returned to the ground.

"H-help," a soft cry came from the drivers seat of the van.

"Lyanna!" Christina shouted.

She ran towards the van, but Shein beat her to it and pulled Lyanna out. She was barely concious and hardly moved once she was placed on the ground.

"Will she be okay?" Christina asked.

*saved you :) and is Shein still in this?*

**Thank you Lauren. :)**

Lyanna's eyelids flickered, and finally snapped open. She began coughing, hard. Her ribs felt as if they had caved in. "Lyanna! Are you all right?" A face Lyanna recognized was looking down on her, her face concerned.
"Christina." Lyanna gasped.
"Yes, I'm here."
"It hurts." She moaned. Indeed, it did hurt. It hurt more than anything she had experienced.
"I know, we'll make it stop." Christina said.
A thought came to Lyanna. A big, ugly, terrible thought.
"Am I going to die?" She asked.

Roberta Nunez

Roberta heard the injured driver. "Look, I probably know more about human anatomy and first-aid than you do. If you untie me, I could have a look at her," she called.

At first she wasn't sure if anyone had heard her. Then someone behind her untied her ankles and pulled the scientist roughly to her feet. She moved them around to get some of the feeling back in them.

"I'm going to untie your wrists," came the person's voice. It sounded like the girl who had made her tell them the way out. "If you try to run, I'm tying you up again. You understand?"

Roberta nodded, and the girl got a firm grip on her arm before untying her the rest of the way. She pulled the scientist towards the injured girl.

After looking her over briefly, she sighed. "It looks like one of her arms is broken, and one of her legs. Probably a few broken ribs. And you'll need to bandage up her head. Here, let me see the rope."

Angel handed Roberta one of the ropes, and she set to work splinting her leg and arm with some boards they'd left in the back of the truck. Then she took off her lab coat and used strips of it to bind her ribs and bandage her head. "That should work for now. Don't move her around more than you have to."

"Good work." Angel spun her around so she was looking into her eyes. "Stand still, I'm going to tie your wrists again, but since you've helped us I'll stop there." She nodded at Shien, who stepped behind the scientist and bound her hands.

Roberta just stood there looking at Angel vacantly.
