The Oddities of Seattle

Hey, this is my first storybook. Almost everything in this came out of my twisted mind.

The Plot: Okay, legend has it that the government has a secret laboratory underneath the Seattle Space Needle. Inside the lab they would conduct several gruesome experiments on babies that doctors had pronounced dead, and then given to the scientists. You, that is, we, are a group of these lab rats that managed to escape during a blackout.

The Setting: We are in a warehouse that is the disguised entrance to the lab. There are dusty boxes everywhere, and the alarm has been raised that we have escaped. Scientists and guards will come pouring from the entrance any moment now.

The Rules: 1. This storybook will be kept PG-13 at all times. 2. Relationships are allowed, but nothing extreme. 3. No killing off another character without that characters permission. 4. No God-modding.
That's all the rules I can think of at the moment.

Name: Lyanna
Age: 17
Personality: The quiet type, Lyanna isn't quick to trust and rarely voices her opinion. If she gets angry, which is rarely, she completely flips her lid.

Powers (Two at most): Telekenesis, minor hypnosis.
Weakness: When she is using her Telekenesis she is completely vunerable, and she never speaks up for herself.
Other: She's willing to have a relationship, but she doesn't trust anyone, even herself. Therefore she's very hard to get.

((Ooh... could I perhaps play a scientist? I know that's going to limit the amount of interaction my character gets unless he/she gets captured, but I love playing for the wrong side.))

Name: Roberta Nunez

Age: 22

Personality: Calm and quiet. Doesn't question what her supervisors tell her to do usually. But there's more to her than meets the eye.

Description: (I suck at finding good pictures)Dark hair and eyes, olive complexion, a little shorter and more slender than average. Dresses conservatively.

Powers (Two at most): None. She's a scientist. However, she does carry a taser in her purse, and she's pretty smart. And she's taken a few self-defense classes.

Weakness: For some odd reason, she has odd nervous spasms.

Name: Shep
Age: Seventeen
Personality: Shep is fun loving, cheeky and bound to make you smile. His laugh is loud and frequent, and such a strange noise you find yourself joining in. He's not really into being serious; he'd rather be the joker of the group. If a prank was played on you, his name would be the first to jump into your mind. He's kind, sincere and has his cute moments. Every word comes from the heart. Shep is determined to focus on the positives of a situation. But his constant happiness can get very irritating very quickly.
Picture: Tall.
Power: Animation: can make any object from his imagination appear, and Shep has one hell of an imagination. His power helps with his humour, allowing harps or violins to be easily accessible.
Weakness: Shep is hopeless with fights and arguments, despite being the fact that he's normally the cause of them. He winds people up really easily, but can't deal with them once they're in his face. Anything he says in that situation is likely to annoy them even more, as he relies on others cooling the situation.
Other: Up for love! Is the clown of the group, as I believe I've mentioned..

Name: Richard Cross

Age: 19

Personality: Richard is a very practical person. He knows how to take a joke, he can be serious when need be and he knows how to relax. Over all a normal person. His one distinguishing feature is he is a bit of a coward and gets scared rather easily.

Powers (Two at most): Perception. It's divided into two parts. 1) Sense. He can sense the presence of other people and can tell basically where they are. 2) A type of foresight. Lets say Richard is going to be shot. He can sense he is going to be shot a moment before it happens and try to find cover. Like a spidey-sense

Weakness: Is a coward and would rather run away then fight.

Other: Up for love. Is good at chess and strategies.

Name: Christina "Angel" Bates

Age: 17

Personality: Christina is usually very sweet, but has a nasty side to her when she is angry. She is bi-polar so her emotions flip flop a lot, though she is medicated for it. Typically nice, giggly, and free-spirited.

Powers (Two at most): Has wings that enable flight for short periods of time (see picture) and is also extraordinarily charming. She can get almost anyone to do almost anything as long as she keeps eye contact.

Weakness: extremely claustraphobic and doesn't know how to swim

Name: MJ just MJ

Age: 19

Personality: MJ is the type of leader who would take a bullet for anyone who was on her side. She likes to help those who are weaker than her and she looks out for everyone. She keeps her cool almost always by rarely letting any other emmotions show, she doesn't really have other emmotions.

Picture: MJ is tall and light so she can move quickly and quietly. She is very athletic and can scale walls and such if neeed be. She has long dark brown hair, blue eyes, and is currently wearing the blueish green scrubs the laboratory had her in.

Powers (Two at most): MJ is really good at assesing situations, her brain is kind of like a computer. She can figure out the distance from where she is to where she would escape she can look around and find use for almost everything around her at any given moment. She can crunch numbers and make plans like no other. She also has a very very high tolerance for pain.

Weakness: since she is so computer like because of her ability she doesn't always understand emmotion. She can read situations but not people as much. She also has a very hard time dealing with death and keeping calm when death is around her.

name: Gryk Monte

Age: 17

personality: he is a classic loner and he lieks it. he likes to indulged in risks particularly for the reason of bussiness. Gryk also is a narcissict and likes to do things for his own good.

power: Body amalgation...he is able to combine the body of otehr people even corpses to his own in order to make himslef stronger. It gives him great strenght, longer limbs and can control various organs as weapons. He can also create multiple heads to attack. he can also increase the texture of his skin and can summon corpses he had devoured as pupptes. To hide this skill, he wears large long clotehs that mostly cover his body.

weakness: By using his power, he feels great pain particularly if he uses organs as his weapons. becasue his absorbed organs are part of him, he is affected if this organ weapon is destroyed paralyzing him in great pain for a few moments. His only way to make it less is to make himslef feel pain in high amounts to be adapted to the pain. yet, he is still vulnerable to it.

Name: Marissa Lenoard

Age: 16

Gender: Female

Her hair is like a silvery-blonde though. And her eyes are a silvery-blue mixture.

Personality: She is always smiling. She loves to dance, sing, laugh, smile and just have a good time. Nothing can get her down. She's an optomistic person and is rarely angry. She'll defend her friends with her life, though she knows some won't do the same for her. She's very sweet and practically never blows up. You'd have to work really hard not to like her or get on her bad side.

Powers: Mind control/Mind reading. She can control one person's mind easily by just entering it, though she can mess up their minds if she's really not concentrating. One time when she was practicing on one guy she accidently made him fall asleep right when he was taking a sip of his coffee. Anyway, mind reading comes easy to her and she's been working on actually sending thoughts, though nothing's worked yet.

Weakness: As I said before, to control someone's mind she has to concentrate. Especially if she's controlling more than one. If she dosen't she can actually screw up a persons mind without meaning to. She needs to focus (which is really harder than it should be for her).

Other: Up for love.
