((I'm pretty sure it is, actually, from Griffin's response to Tiger. I say the more the merrier.))

Name: Melody

Species: Water Nymph

Appearance: http://media.photobucket.com/image/wate ... gie/wf.jpg

Abilites: Can look like your average human. Wonderful working with water and has excellent control over it. (Big shock)

For you Griff I shall put in her flaws -

Flaws: She hates dry land. Anyone who has any control over the earth or any part of could be an extreme danger to her. She needs to be near water, or at least have it close by. In her human form she loses all her nymph 'powers.'

Tuvstarr gulped when the human looked at her, he seemed so very frightened of her.

She cleared her throat nervously and said to the stranger, "I don't know where we are. I was on that ship that sank. I-I've been collecting supply crates, they're up past the tide line. What's your name?" Then, remembering human courtesy to offer one's name first, she said.
"I'm sorry, my name is Tuvstarr. What's yours?"

"Hesh." The man got to his feet with a groan. The shock of his punishment was starting to wear off. "You're a troll, right? I've met a few of your kind in my- well, what used to be my woods."

Truvstarr looked a little confused. "You're not afraid of me?"

"I suppose I should be, now that I'm a human." Hesh gave her a quick glance. "Long story short, this is punishment for something I did. I used to be a wood spirit, but I made the Queen mad." He sighed. "Need any help with the crates?"

Name: Nell

Species: Canine Demon

Appearance: In her human form Nell is around five and a half feet. She's got dark blond hair that reaches her mid-back when it's all down in its loose waves. She has crystal clear blue eyes, unnatural to the demon race, plump lips, and a button nose. She's slim in her human form, and favors her weak, cute human form over her overly-powerful, disgusting demon form. She's half and half with her canine form. In her canine form she's quick on her feet and alert. She looks like your everyday German Shepherd other than her blue eyes. She's even got a collar that she wears in her canine form. The collar is the only thing that keeps her clothed when she transforms into her human form. When she's in human form it become a set of clothes. In her demon form she looks much like a hell hound. She's got black skin that barely stretches over her sheer muscle and all her bones are plainly visible. Atop her back perch two, bony wings with thinly stretched black skin across them and two horns, around a foot long each, sit on the top of her skull.

Abilities: Her saliva, in full demon form, is toxic to anyone. She's also a master at manipulating the darkness, including the beings that dwell within it.

Weaknesses: In her human form Nell still has quite a great amount of speed, but nothing more than that of an average Forrest Gump. In other words, in her human form she's just a human only knowing self defense moves. She's pretty handy with a gun, but that's it. Shifting to her demon form is terribly painful, and she's defenseless while changing. On the full moons she is always in demon form and hides a lot of this time. She's weak against light, or purity even though she wishes she had even an ounce of it in her soul.

Name: Kellon

Species: Angel

Appearance: Kellon is around six feet and four inches. He has light red hair and soft, emerald eyes. The white, yes white, wings on his back are often pressed tightly against his back. He travels in what his people call 'wisp' form. His wisp form is simply a ball of fiery energy tinted blue-green.

Abilities: Flight, conjurer and commander of light

Weaknesses: Darkness and he can't swim well, unfortunately.

((No problem))

A girl approached Hesh and Truvstarr as they collected crates.

Hesh looked up sharply at her approach. "You're not human," he said blankly. "Who are you?"

((short, I know, but I figured you'd want to put more about her appearance and personality))

**Perfect. (; As long as she gets in there**

Melody

Melody smiled at the man. She hated her human form. She felt disproportioned eithout her wings and the water felt...different to her. Like it was no longer alive. Black hair hung like sheets blocking off everything else. She didn't like her human body. Not one bit.

"Aren't you a clever one," she cocked an eyebrow. "I suppose then, you won't mind if I shift back?"

Melody changed, growing about a five inches shorter than the human. She hair changed into a golden silvery color. It was so light that it almost appeared to be made from clear, crystal water. Melody loved her hair almost more than she loved her wings.

They sprouted from her back, leaflike and watery. These wings actually were made from water.

"I don'y believe we've properly me," she smiled kindly. "I'm Melody. The water nymph."

Hesh

"That had nothing to do with cleverness," he muttered. Hesh felt a surge of envy as Melody slipped back into her true form. He had hardly been human for fifteen minutes and he already hated it.

"I'm Hesh, the... human, and this is Tuvstarr." He scratched his stubbly face with a wince. Facial hair, bleh. The stuff was so itchy.

"So you're a nymph, eh? I've met a few of your kind." He frowned. "Tricky little blighters they were, too. Always pulling pranks on the- on us humans. Guess they thought it was funny, luring men away from their work with their songs."

Tuvstarr

"It's nice to meet the both of you," she said shyly. "And thank you Hesh, but I think I can handle the crates. You probably need time to get used to your human form. Besides, I think there's only one left." She trotted over to the edge of the shore and hefted up the large crate and put it next to the others. Then she began ripping the tops of the nailed crates and peering inside. "Most of it is food, but there are some crates full of clothes. We'll see if more wash up."

Tuvstarr smiled sheepishly at her two companions. She was especially awed by Melody, and her beauty. Tuvstarr had often wished that she could be another sort of creature, something more delicate and graceful. Not that being a troll didn't have its advantages, but sometimes it would be nice to get looks of admiration instead of disgust.

I think I've changed my mind as is so often the case XD I shall join you now and post accordingly for the next two days (probably one post tomorrow lol). My character shall then vanish for a week and re-surface upon my return or perhaps after the YWS move. In that time I ask only that she doesn't die and remains in character. The rest is up to you.

Her bio is long because I'm aware of how long I will be away and what you might wish to discover about her. Kidra is a very open girl and chatters incessantly to anyone who will listen. She will however only talk of the good times and not reveal her dark thoughts until I am back and better able to judge how close she feels to the others (if there has in fact been any character interaction with her).

Name: Kidra (Kee-drah)
Age: 84 but currently appears to be 19
Race: Changeling

Race Information: A changeling is a child of the fairy folk who is exchanged with a human baby, often for an unknown purpose. The fairy folk will then raise this baby while their own child is cared for and brought up by the humans. A changeling is often excitable and a picky eater, they exert all the personality and looks of the fay-folk including slightly pointed ears. They have no wings but often find that they mourn the loss. It is suspected that some people who throw themselves from cliffs are Changelings who can no longer bare the loss of flight. Some changelings will start to forget they were ever anything but human and lead satisfactory lives while others will spend their whole life feeling abandoned and cheated, maybe even guilty of taking a human child's place. Changelings appear to grow up at a slower rate than the average human. This is because they don't age beyond childhood but may change their age-appearance at whim. They are forever youthful in the way they act or move. Changelings don't live as long as most of the fay-folk. Their human upbringing shortens their life span and they will often perish very suddenly as they near one hundred years. Upon death their body stays whatever age it appeared at the time whether that be old or young. This allows some changelings to live through multiple childhoods moving from one set of human parents to another in their longing search to find a family they can be a part of.

Appearance: Kidra is tall and long legged with a slim but curvy figure, fair skin, a freckled, slightly pointed face and chestnut, curly hair. Her eyes are almond shaped and a honey-brown colour. Her hair tends to cover her pointed ears and if asked what she is she will answer human out of habit.

Personality: Usually fun loving and energetic, Kidra also has a darker side where she is filled with insecurities and empty wishes of a life she could have had. When Kidra sees how at home other magical beings are, she wonders at the world she has been kept away from but knows a Changeling would never fit in with the fay-folk. Who ever heard of a fairy with no wings who followed human ideals?

History: Kidra has been by four different names and lived with two families. From the age of baby to 23 she lived as Adelle but the fay-folk are vain and Kidra did not want to appear to age any further so she left her first human family. When she was 27 she bored of living the life of a teenage runaway (posing as a sixteen year old) and it was then that the Lorcan family discovered a surprisingly intelligent toddler on their doorstep who claimed that her name was Faye. Kidra lived as Faye until she was 45 (Faye was thought to be 21 at this time) and then she longed for her youth again but at the same time very much loved the Lorcans. Faye went off, leaving home like any human but moving far far away as excuse to never see them and wrote back to her 'parents' of an imaginary family life in which she had a daughter Idahlia while really living in the very same city, watching their lives and being a teenage wreck. At the age of 52 Kidra returned to the Lorcans as young Idahlia (aged 5) who had lost both her parents in a supposed fire and lived happily with her 'grand-parents' until their deaths when she was 82. In this time Idahlia had aged to 30 and though the sight of herself so old repulsed her, she stayed because she wanted to be with the Lorcans until the end. After this she took the name Kidra and has been travelling the world changing age as it suits her and living life from day to day.

Abilities: Kidra can change her age at will as easily as you or I can breathe. It's something every Changeling just knows though it doesn't kick in until they stop aging at ten years old. She also has the potential to learn fairy magic but it is unlikely that any fairy would agree to teach her or that she would indeed ask. Her other abilities are all those that a human would have. She can swim particularly well having been on the school swim team as Faye and she's an excellent girl scout, the Lorcans having put her through the experience both times. She's also a good kisser, living through the teenage stage so many times over really can teach you some things.

Weaknesses: Kidra is essentially a human with no experience of fighting. She may be more agile and quicker than your usual teenage girl (and certainly your average 84 year old) but she bleeds and dies as any human would. Kidra doesn't have much of the maturity that most adults develop. From her time caring for the Lorcans in their old age she picked up some of the severities of death and illness, knowledge of paying bills and arranging funerals but that is something she tries not to dwell on.

Hesh

Hesh frowned and took a seat on one of the crates. Tuvstarr had a point; he'd probably have a hard time picking up boxes with these clumsy mortal hands he'd been given. More likely than not, he'd drop one on his foot and seriously injure himself.

His real physical form was much nicer. It was a bit smaller and slenderer, with pale green skin and amber colored eyes. He suddenly wondered what his new countenance looked like. Curious, he squinted down the length of his body. Suddenly he yelped and hid himself behind one of the crates.

"Why," he said, gritting his teeth, "did neither of you tell me that I wasn't wearing anything?"

Melody suddenly giggled. "You didn't know? I just assumed you didn't care."

Tuvstarr blinked. "Oh. I forgot, humans don't usually run around naked, do they?"

"No they don't," Hesh hissed, "and neither do I."

"Well like I said, they've got some clothes in these crates-"

A great gust of wind cut her off midsentence. A small bundle dropped, apparently from nowhere, at his feet. It consisted of some rough looking clothes, something like what a peasant might wear, and an axe. Hesh plucked a note from the bundle and frowned. It read:

To the condemned:

Here are some necessities to assist you in your exile. Remember, you are under surveilance. If your superiors deem that you have reformed, they may restore you to your original form and post. Remember that as you pursue your new life as a human.

Naoni, Chief Assistant to the Wood Queen

Hesh grumbled and started pulling on the clothes. He had a feeling that he wasn't going to enjoy exile much.
