Wait! Can I join?

Name: Philip Mann Kaska
Age: 15!
Gender: MALE
Appearance: Blonde hair that is neither long nor short ... if that makes sense. He wears glasses and always seems to walk around with a surprised look on his face. Blue eyes. Creamy skin. Medium height.
Personality: He's the class clown. Not that he's funny, more like people laugh at him. He's a disaster with spells and they always go wrong for him. He has a slightly baffled/harassed air around him. Due to the many unexpected things that happens to him and all the studying he does. He's kind and honest, certainly not a good liar. He acts awkwardly, due to his shyness, and only has a few close friends. When with people he doesn't know he'll stay quiet. Only his friends see his true self. He is always seen carrying around books as he just loves to pour over them.
History: His family is relatively normal, aside from the fact they're witches and wizards and all. He's grown up knowing the family secret, actually, his family is always trying to encourage him to embrace it. Unfortunately, seeing as he's useless with spells and stuff, he's always disappointing them. Katy, his younger sister, aged 12, is always teasing him and boating about the spells she's managed to master. His parents try not to let their disappointment with him show.
Other: Up for looove, if you're patient. Or a (close) friend.
Your = Possession. Your shoes are so sweet!
You're = Omission. You're quite strange...

If you are confused about which to put, simply say in your mind "you are" and see if that fits the sentence. If not, you are looking for your.

Ach! I've been offline for the past couple of days, but will be back full-time in a couple more! Can I still join?

Name: Evan Ryan Barnes

Age: 15

Gender: Male

Appearance: http://gweyeni.deviantart.com/art/Kyle-XY-37080166

Personality: Evan is very frank and open. He is the kind of person who would doing something just for the simple joy of doing it. He is very free-flowing. Evan is a steadfast friend and openly friendly even to complete strangers. He works very hard at everything he does, but because he throws himself into what he is doing, Evan cannot take criticism well at all, and can get quite emotional when he is upset.

History: Evan's father abandoned Evan and his mother when Evan was four. He has vague memories of him, but other than that, Evan never thinks of him. Evan grew up very close to his mother, but she fell into debt a few years back. In the summer, Evan has to work to pay for himself living with her. He carefully avoids much talk about his past or his family. He is somewhat ashamed. His mother is not a witch, and Evan's father never told her if he was. Evan can only assume that is where he got his magic from.

Other: Up for love.

might as well. She also said she was going to post a description of how the magic worked. So I guess we can start, but if you cast be vague, because it sounds like she had a specific way of it working. how should we describe getting to the school? I imagine that would be when we would be meeting each other the most.

Sorry guys! I've been busy, my mom is sick! But I'm here now! So, please, disregard the posts you have already made XD *sorry* Only your character profiles count right now.

Okay, so here is the deal.

Everyone knows everyone, you've all been in the same class for four years so you all know each other. You have your enemies, friends, etc.

We're starting the day you arrive inside the Headmaster's office because he is telling you all that you'll be in his special class. Alright?

Magic in this world works like this, you think it you do it.

No wands.

There are spells, but I'll just leave those for you to make up ;)

Then there are the usual witch and wizard stuff, cauldrons, magic books, creepish animals, etc. Further questions feel free to PM me!

Headmaster

Headmaster Herring sat at his desk with a most troubled look on his usually happy face, his arms folded across his chest as he leaned back in his chair. Today his nails were an electric yellow and he wore a bright orange cloak, making him stick out like a light in a dark room.

What are you thinking Romulus? Having children risk their lives for your mistake... he thought to himself. Then the first round of knocking came.

"Headmaster?" the children asked, peeping their heads around the door, an oblivious look to why they were called the his office.

Tristin~~

I stepped into the room after a couple of other people. They stepped up to the headmaster, but I went to the side a little.

*What does the school look like?*

Evan

Evan stepped into the headmaster's office curiously. He looked around for a moment before his eyes settled on Headmaster Herring. The headmaster met his eyes briefly, but then looked toward the people who were filing in behind Evan.

Evan quicvkly stepped aside to let the others come in. He spotted Tristan de Leoness standing toward the edge of the room. Evan moved toward him. They had never exchanged more than a few words in passing in the hallways, but Evan thought he may know what was happening.

Tristan glanced at Evan as Evan approached him. Evan gave a small smile, then nodded toward the headmaster inquisitively. "Do you know what is going on?" Evan whispered.

Tristan shook his head. "None," he muttered back before turning to stare pointedly at the headmaster. Evan blinked, then turned to face the old eccentric himself.

Evangeline

There was supposed to be a meeting in the headmaster's office, so I dresed up in my usual dark cloak and arranged my curly hazel hair into a ponytail. I went out of my room and walked toward the headmaster's office. There were a bunch of kinds there all talking and laughing and talking about the most trivial things human kind could imagine.
I went in, and as soon as I spot a blonde girl that I've known for years: Violet. Is not like I talk to her often, but at least I do.
I went to her and tried to talk to her.
"Hello Violet" I said politely
"Hello Evangeline, good morning" She said cheerfully, almost too cheerfully for me.
"What's going on here?"
"Umm, I have no idea.BUt I'm excited to know" she said again too cheerfully.
"Oh" was all I could manage to say.
I turned my head toward the headmaster again and waited patiently for his orders.

Kyla filed into the room amongst the numerous other students, her usual grin in place despite the circumstances. For a few moments after she had been called here, she'd believed that she might be in trouble for something. But seeing the other students heading toward the same place had relaxed her quite a bit. She'd never done anything bad enough to involve this many other people.

"Hi, Headmaster," she sang, immediately taking the position in the center of the room. She noticed how most of the other kids drifted to the sides, hiding in the shadows, curious and a bit apprehensive. She smiled to herself at their behavior. Why couldn't they just lighten up? Certainly nothing bad was going to happen to them here, in the office of the headmaster himself, with so many other witnesses. Kyla turned her eyes back to the headmaster and grinned at him again. "I like your nails today," she added as the rest of the students joined the room. The yellow certainly did stand out.

Tristin~~

I looked back at Evan, "Sorry, I'm being rude. I think its something about our classes. I'm not exactly sure exactly, but it sounds like we wont be in regular classes."

He just frowned, "Oh."

Bethany

Bethany tucked a long strand of her white-blonde hair behind her ear. She was listening to the others talk. They were all confused. She knew she was just going to have to wait out until everyone got their questions out and the Headmaster spoke to them.

Through all her years here, the Headmaster had been...well, her only friend. She had a rather hard time making friends. Beth couldn't really help it. She always had her nose it a book. She loved reading, but sometimes she would give all her books up for at least one loyal friendship. though, it was really her fault to begin with.

Annoyed that the others were still muttering, she finally spoke up.

"Hush," she shushed the couple of kids beside her. "The sooner we all be quiet the faster we find out what the Headmaster wants. We're all curious you know."

They didn't look to happy with her. Beth turned away. That's exactly why she didn't have any friends. She was a snobby little know it all and everyone knew it.
Hermione, shut your ungodly, lopsided mouth and quit interrupting! 20 points from Gryffindor. You know, for the brightest witch of your age you can sure be a dumba** sometimes. *smiles* 10 points to Dumbledore!
