What happened to the preview of every new literary post coming up at the bottom of the screen? I quite liked that...because then if I completely hated something I didn't have that little guilty feeling you get when you click to read something but then back out.

Did anyone else notice that...?

*blinks* Wow, something was finally done about that lol.

Anyway, the reason behind the removal of the previews is that the previews weren't censored, so ANYTHING could show up on the main page. A few times pieces with very strong language came up, and we felt that it wasn't appropriate for younger audiences. At least you can check the rating while in the literary forums, but on the main page there were no ratings. I'm sure parents wouldn't want to see stuff like that on the front page anyway.

So yeah... Sorry about that, but it needed to be changed.

Crysi's right; the previews did not discriminate between a G story and an R story so you would get vulgar language on the front page. I did work on it for about an hour today trying to figure out how to make such stories stop showing up on the homepage, but nothing I tried worked. Still haven't given up though, so it's not gone forever. Just temporarily.

It's been fixed now. The system will now discriminate against showing R rated stories on the front page.
