Yikes!! So many people already!! Hopefully there's still time for Rayne and a couple others :) Also, it was a PLEASURE to be able to assist you ^^

Name: Didn't have one (referred to as Pup)
Warrior name: Whiplash
Age: 5
Gender: Male
Appearance: http://kayfedewa.deviantart.com/art/Munkisha-7903453 Without the wings or earrings
Scars or markings: He has three scars across his muzzle, a long scar over his right eye, and a bite taken out of his right ear
Personality: Whiplash is very solemn. He doesn't talk too often, and when he does, it's typically one or two word sentences. However, when he opens up, he is quite fluent and friendly, even. His lack of talking is made up for by his love of laughter. He has a wonderful sense of humor and enjoys a good joke.
Strengths: Literally, he is very strong, capable of pulling an full grown male elk on his own. He's also a very fast runner. He's fiercely loyal and has sworn protection to the Warrior clan
Weaknesses: He doesn't really know how to be compassionate. He tries, but he either overdoes it and ends up freaking others out, or he doesn't do it enough, and his short fuse when they complain about him not helping doesn't, well, help
History: He's been on his own for quite awhile. Both of his parents were killed when he was about a year and a half old. He was kind of taken in by the alpha, Redwind (if that's okay) He trained him to be a very skilled hunter and fighter. In Redwind's eyes, Whiplash became somewhat of a son, so he gave him the beta position
Thoughts on the Brushfire clan: He would do anything to rid the land of them
Family: His parents were killed by Fury and he was the only pup who survived through the winter he was born during. So, nope.
Other: Up for love, if you can teach him what it is ;)

---

Name: Rayne
Age: 4
Gender: Female
Pack: Yellow Hill; Beta
Appearance: My avvie ;) Or here: member9014.html Black, golden yellow, and cream. VERY dark blue eyes
Scars or markings: Nope :)
Personality: Rayne is a tad bit cold hearted. Fighting is one of her favorite things to do, next to running. She was never given any affection as a pup, aside from the occasional romp with her brother. Mostly solemn, as she lives by the motto "never forgive, never forget", but she can be fun and energetic if the opportunity presents itself. Incredibly skilled warrior, probably first or second best from Yellow Hill, and can take on an entire pack without fear and get out with a few scratches. The 'Achilles' of the wolf world, if you will ;) Except her weakness isn't physical. It's emotional - the love of her friends and family. She loves puppies, but hates all elders. Those in between just have to know how to get to her.
Strengths: She's incredibly sneaky and cunning, which comes in handy for battle and hunting. She's very quick witted and is skilled at thinking on her paws
Weaknesses: Rayne doesn't ever really know when enough is enough. Once she gets into the heat of battle, very little will get her out
History: Rayne was exiled from her original pack when she was about two years old for murdering her verbally abusive father, who trained her to be the warrior she is today. She wandered the back lands of her home for a year or so before stumbling upon the Yellow Hill pack, where she was eagerly accepted. During the war, Rayne killed Black Tooth's beta, Viking, along with many others. Unwilling to stop fighting, she had to be taken away by force by Zodiak. They're now wandering rather aimlessly through the New Lands
Family: Brother and mother from her first pack, and she considers all of Yellow Hill to be a family
Other: Up for love, if you work hard at it. When she gets into the 'heat of battle', or really really mad, her eyes flood a bright red. It's a bizarre quirk that only she received out of her entire birth-pack.

---

Name: Toxin
Age: 5
Gender: Male
Pack: Black Tooth; Hunter
Appearance: *below ;)*
Scars or markings: There's a good sized chunk missing from his left ear and a very slowly healing scar on his chest as a result of a powerfully delivered bite given there, so it is shaped as such
Personality: Toxin has always been very cold hearted. Lately, though, as a result of his devotion to his baby cousin Sting, he's been feeling something resembling love and compassion. He's not the best fighter out there, but he is by no means weak. It seems as though he's always irritable and he has an incredibly short fuse. He never exactly hated his pack mates, but he certainly didn't like them
Strengths: The night. Toxin seems to rise with the moon. His senses and his smarts increase tenfold and his strength and skills are almost unmatched
Weaknesses: He is, to a degree, incapable of feeling love or happiness, so he can never really connect with anyone or get close to anyone. And he's found that being friendless in this world really takes a toll on you
History: Toxin's parents were killed in battle when he was very young, so he never really got any parental care. He managed to fend for himself, and despite the attempts by his aunt and uncle to adopt him, he always refused and remained on his own. After awhile, they had their own daughter, Sting. A couple months later, they got killed in a raid, so Toxin immediately took her in. He has devoted his life to keeping her safe and giving her the affection he never had. Or, as much as he can, anyway. The two are now on their own.
Family: Sting, cousin
Other: Up for love, but it'll take awhile.

If anyone wants to make Sting, you can :) Just ask me and I'll send you her info

Name: Nukpana

Age: 4

Gender: Female

Pack: Brushfire - where she is the Beta.

Appearance: http://www.librarything.es/userpics/white-wolf-big.jpg

Scars: On her left hind leg there is a small, thin scar that's about a five inches long.

Personality: You think you know evil? No way. Nukpana knows no mercy and she thrives on killing. She will stop at nothing to get what she wants and she thinks that the more she kills to get there...the better. She only listens to Fury. Fury is like her idol. They get along rather well and he is probably the only one she is *close* to.

Strengths: She is very charismatic and all of her pack follows her without question. She is extremely strong in attitude, confidance and physical strength.

Weaknesses: She is overconfidant. She thinks that no one is better than her because, so far, she hasn't met anyone that is. Well, besides Fury of course.

History: Will fill in later

Family: Her family is dead. Her mother and brother died in a gruesome fight and her father remained Alfa. Nukpana killed him to gain his spot as Beta. She has even debated on whether to kill Fury, but decided against it because he is a stronger wolf than she.

Other: I don't really think love is an option for her (; she thinks that love is weakness.

Redwind can appoint someone Beta during the story anyway if no one takes it up ;)

Also, here is Fury's profile.

He's not my character, he's everyone's. If you want to add something to his character, feel free. Play him at any point during the story; you don't need to ask.
Name: Fury

Age: Six

Gender: Male

Pack: Brushfire Clan Alpha

Appearance: Stocky, muscular and with a mean set of jaws, Fury is the kind of wolf you know not to mess with just by looking at him. His canines are longer than the average wolf and he cannot shut his jaws properly due to the length of them. His nails are overgrown and sharp and his eyes bright crimson, both said to be stained permanently red due to the bloodshed he has caused.

Pelt colours: Image

Scars or markings: His body is covered in small scars from his many battles, but the most noticeable one is the double scar over his eye, which has never healed properly and remains as an open wound.

Personality: Dark, cruel, callous, and heartless. He feels no love or compassion to any living being. Hates anyone and anything that comes across his path. He never feels regret for any of his horrible deeds. Anyone who dares get in his way gives themselves an instant death sentence; he has no mercy for anyone.
He is obsessive about resurrecting the original wolf 'God,' and feels that to please him he must kill any wolves who do not believe in him and reclaim ALL wolf territories to present to his god. He loves nothing more than to watch his enemies suffer. Ignite his temper and his jaws coming down on your throat is the last thing you'll ever see.
The only wolf he can tolerate is Nukpana, who he actually enjoys spending time with.

Strengths: He isn't afraid to fight unfairly. His brute strength is unmatched (to his knowledge) and his battle skills are baffling. All of his clan wolves obey his every word. He can manipulate wolves very easily and draw them into his evil clan.

Weaknesses: Cruel to every wolf. His temper is explosive and volatile.

History: Fury was never normal. From a young age, he had 'visions' were a mighty wolf god would tell him to kill other wolves to power and eventually resurrect him. At first his family brushed this off as attention seeking, but then they saw him grow more and more bloodthirsty, sacrificing both pups and adults to the 'god.' By the time they chose to intervene, he was too powerful. He killed them and declared that any wolf who dared stand in his way was his enemy, and that any wolf who turns away from his god will be killed.

Family: He doesn't consider anyone to be his family, and his blood relatives were all killed by him.

Other: He sends scout wolves across the land searching for the Warrior haven and to recruit other native wolves to his army.
May as well get things going I guess, seeing as everyone's so eager :P

**

Lhuna, Yellow Hill Alpha

The grey and tawny she-wolf sat upon the hill, wishing with every fibre of her being that she was staring over the glassy surface of Summit Lake. Everything was still unfamiliar to her; the creak of the aspens as they bent against the wind, the 'craw' of the ravens in the evening sky; even the way the wind whispered to her.

Six months in the alien land had left her alone and wondering about the day the demons attacked; about who had survived and who had perished. She felt the howl to her pack mates fill thickly in her throat, so she stood and let burst from her lungs and fill the night sky with the song of a solitary howl.

It died slowly, the evening air becoming silent once more. She tilted her head to the side, perking her brown backed ears to catch even the slightest sound of a response.

No wolf howled in return.

She sighed, slowly sinking to the ground again and sitting disdainfully upon the crown of the hill. "Where are you all?" she wondered aloud, scanning the aspens below her for any sign of life. Her head tilted to the sky, where the stars lazily appeared from the navy skyline and shone brightly above her. After a few seconds of searching; she found it.

The constellation of the White Wolf ran proudly across the skies, nose pointing North as always. Lhuna thought about the day the wolf spirit appeared to her. Follow the North star... Sky-Lark had not warned her about a disaster all that time ago, but never of something this sinister.

But she still had faith in the mysterious spirit. Though her presence in the winds could not be felt in the New Lands, she knew the spirit was guiding them from above; she just didn't feel it.

Suddenly hope filled her heart, and she wanted more than ever to reunite with her friends. And sitting on this hill isn't going to help me with anything.

She burst into a sprint, a grey blur among the bracken of the forest, following the point of the constellation above her.

**

Zodiak, Yellow Hill Hunter

Zodiak eyed Rayne a little nervously from the mouth of the cave. The yellow and black she-wolf had been sullen and quiet most of the time they had spent together. He'd understood that; he missed his pack dearly, but still found he was enjoying his time along with Rayne, even if she didn't enjoy it. He could never be sure with Rayne.

Zodiak puzzled and puzzled. He couldn't understand why he suddenly had a personality transplant any time he was near her alone. One second, he'd be confident and cocky, next he would be reduced to a blushing mumbling nervous wreck. Rayne definitely made his head hurt sometimes. But in a strange, good way. Ugh, that makes no sense.

"Everything okay?" he turned to face Rayne's dark blue eyes with a tiny hint of a jolt.

"Yeah, I'm good," he replied, standing and stretching out his paws.

"You look like you have a headache," she said with a slight frown, getting to her feet also and yawning.

Zodiak chuckled, grinning boyish smile. "I kinda do. I need to get out in the air. Hunt or something." He paused to look at her for a few seconds. "Coming?"

I'll post with Windsong later on ;)

*Hmmm... Mind if Storm joins Lhuna?

Storm

Storm lifted his head away from the Stream he had been drinking in. A lone howl drifted through the night air. Storm's heart jumped. He recognized that howl.

Lhuna!

It had been almost a year since Storm had heard that call. Storm jumped up, and lifted his head to howl back joyfully.

But it had been too long. Storm's throat caught, and his howl whispering out, barely loud enough for Storm to hear. Storm shook his head and tried again, but his throat had gone too long unused.

Frustrated, Storm began to run towards the sound of the howl. He crashed through the forest, sending countless birds into flight. Every so often, Storm would attempt a howl again. Surely Lhuna must hear him coming... She would wait for him, and Storm would be reunited with his pack. Everything would be as it was.

Storm closed his eyes happily as he remembered his days of catching grasshoppers and annoying the elders of the pack. The days when Storm didn't have to take care of himself, where food was handed to him by the older, more experienced hunters.

Storm was going back to that.

Panting, Storm slowed to a trot as he reached the crest of a hill. He looked around happily, waiting for Lhuna to emerge from the shadows.

"Lhuna?" he whispered hoarsely, looking around. Storm's heart fell. She wasn't there...

But Storm hadn't imagined her howl! He knew he hadn't! Then where - ?

Storm's eyes caught on a tawny figure running into a clearing in the forest below. Storm perked his head up. Lhuna!

This time, Storm reared up on his hind legs as a howl tore joyfully from his throat. He saw the tawny wolf freeze, and turn around. Storm gave a small prance before tearing down the hill toward his Alpha.

**Side note - If anyone wants to join up with Lark - Feel free to! This includes Natives, Yellow Hills, Black Tooth, Wariors, Brushfire, anyone!

Rayne, Yellow Hill Beta

My tail flicked around a couple times. Zodiak's smile was almost...new. Very seldom did he smile around me. My lips worked on their own to form a smile and I nodded slightly. I trotted over to him and slowed to a walk when I reached him. We headed out of our sanctuary and into the cool night air that hovered around it. I inhaled deeply and for the first time in a very, very long time, I felt relaxed and calm. Zodiak looked at me and smiled.

Right as looked at him, he tackled me. "Eee!" I cried as we tumbled to the ground.

Eee? What kind of a sound was that for me to make? I ignored the oddity of the sounds I was making and played right back. The still air had been horribly disrupted by the sounds of playful growling, shrieks, and rolling about. And of course, the occasional laugh.

After a bit, I found myself rolling away from Zodiak, who had landed on his side. I came to a stop on my back, with my paws straight up in the air. I couldn't help but bursting out laughing. This was the most fun I had had since that last romp with Storm and Leo when the pack was still together. It was the first thing I had any reason to laugh about. My laughing eventually died away and I rolled onto my stomach. Zodaik was watching me with an amused grin on his face.

"Not gonna lie," he said. "I don't think I've ever seen you laugh that hard." I coughed nervously and looked down. He chuckled. "Not that it's a problem."

He got up and walked over to me. I stood quickly and we continued the walk we had left the cave to go on. After awhile, the silence became a little too much to bear. Thankfully, though, Zodiak read my mind and broke it.

"Being out here without a pack is...different, to say the least," he said.

I cocked my head. "You've been on your own?" I asked.

"Is it that surprising?" He asked. I looked at him with an expression that said 'uh, yeah.' He chuckled. "Well, before I met Lhuna, I was alone." I nodded with understanding.

"I was on my own for a year, before I met all of you," I said, suddenly lost in my memories. "It wasn't hard, because I was trained to be a ruthless killer. Good thing I met Lhuna instead of Lido," I said jokingly. Zodiak laughed quietly. "After being with you guys for a little more than a year, my 'loner' instincts are still pretty fresh." He watched the ground. I glanced at him. "How long were you on your own for?" I asked.

*I came up with a picture of the wolf-god Black-moon. the one with an interest in Nightstar and Spirit. http://media.photobucket.com/image/blac ... ngWolf.jpg *

Nightstar-

Star lay curled under a bush, his gaze fixed on the owl. It soared on silent wings, circling the meadow. Below the grass twitched, a mouse broke from cover and the owl dove. It swooped down and caught the mouse, there was a severing and the copper fire within the mouse faded.

Sighing, Star stretched and scrambled to his feet, he set off down the hill, heading for the river. Always he kept his head half cocked listening for sign of his packmates. Ever since the ambush, when he had been seperated from the others, something had changed. To Star the night was as bright as day, the plants were shot through with emerald light, the river was the bright glow of a saphire. The rocks and boulders gleamed like pearls, and the animals shone with copper fire.

Star knew what he was seeing, life. The world pulsed with it, ever shifting like the river currents. Bending to drink from the river, a scent drifted past Star. Familiar, it smelled of home. "Lhuna? She's alive!" He yipped exitedly and took off, following the scent trail. A howl tore through the night air, followed minutes later by another.

Shortly after, Star burst from the underbrush onto the hilltop.

Spirit/Shadowstrider-

"The dead envy the living." Spirit thought sardonically. They were watching him again, their stares hungry and longing. He could go where they could never be, for that the ghosts both loved and despised him.

Closing his eyes, Spirit concentrated on the Hearthstone, he hadn't been back with the pack for a couple weeks now. The mark on his leg burned, lighting the spirit world with a blue fire. Around him the mists parted and Spirit stepped back into the living world.

When he opened his eyes, he saw several of the other warriors look at him before turning back to what they were doing. By this point they were used to him popping up out of nowhere.

"Shadowstrider!" Spirit turned at the glad yelp to see Randyll and Windsong running towards them. Randyll skidded to a halt and grinned at him. "You're back! Did anything happen?" His exuberance was dampened by the scowl Spirit wore.

"Another hunt?" Windsong asked him.

Nodding Spirit glanced around the clearing. Speaking in a low voice. "Another one of Fury's sacrifices. Too often their souls go mad. Worse this one has escaped to living world. So I can't take any chances." Pausing, Spirit shot his best friends a sly look. "So do you two want to help hunt an evil ghost?"

Nukpana

The howls and cries of the weak. She never could stand it. Nukpana paced around one of her trees, her fur bristling a little. She could sense the presence of other wolves. Not wolves of her clan, but others...who were on her territory!

Growling to herself she walked towards the others. Mani, the hunter who had failed to kill anything was whimpering on the ground. He had taken the punishment. Nukpana shook her head, smiling a little. Mani didn't understand. They all had to be strong. If they weren't, the warrior clan would have taken them over years ago. Mani had to be made strong.

"Nukpana," he whispered, his front paw twitching towards her.

"What is it Mani?" She asked, coldly.

"Please, I can't move. I need help to get to the water," he begged, struggling to get to his feet. "Please."

Nukpana howled with laughter. "Mani! I cannot help you. Be strong and get up yourself. Next time when you go out to hunt, don't come back unless you have a kill. Understood?"

Mani whined and fell back. Nukpana stepped over him and towards the hill where she knew Fury would be. Still, even before she reached him his voice carried out to her.

"Why have you come to me, Nuk?" He asked, calmly.

"There are other wolves. On our territory," she told him.

"Others?" He hissed. "How many?"

"Not too many from what I can tell. Should we go after them. Make another example?" She asked, excitedly.

"Calm down, Nuk," he sighed, but with a quick glance she conformed that their was a small smile of his own on his face. "Though, I think you are right. Some wolves sre starting to get restless. They are...how do you say...thinking we've lost our touch. Let's prove to them that we haven't, shall we."

Randyll

"You betcha!" I jumped at the mention of a ghost hunt. It just sounded so...exciting. "I haven't done anything fun in ages."

Spirit's solemn expression didn't change much. It was hard to get him happy or excited about anything. To fix this, I jumped at him to try to knock him to the ground. Unfortunatly, I missed and landing on my side next to him.

"You need some work on your aim, Randyll." Spirit stated.

I smiled. "Maybe a good ghost hunt will teach me, Spirit."

"Shadowstrider." Spirit corrected.

I sat myself up again. "Right, Shadowstrider." I said. It was always hard for me to remember to call the wolves by their warrior names. Not having one can do that to you.

-----

Redwind

Sitting outside the den was always a taxing experience. It required absolute stillness and patience. Any other wolf would dissagree, as it is hardly ever difficult to sit someplace. It is different for the Aplha of the Warrior clan though. I spend great amounts of time listening and sensing any sort of disturbances in the area. It was my duty to protect my pack.

"Redwind." the familiar voice of the Warrior Beta sounded behind me.

"Whiplash." I said without moving.

The wolf came and sat next to me. "Any changes with the Brushfires?"

Redwind's eyes scanned the valley below him. "No changes. They have been oddly calm lately."

"Then why do you spend even longer hours here lately?"

I turned my head towards Whiplash. "There are others."

"In our territory?" the beta wolf seemed shocked. It was hard enough for some of the Warrior wolves to find their way to our territory if they even took one step out of it.

"A few, but they don't know where they are. They are mostly in the territory of the Brushfire clan and some are scattered about other pack territories around." I explained.

"Should I send a party to investigate?"

I thought for a moment. "Yes, send a scout team out. Don't confront them unless absolutely neccesary, though. We don't know anything about this foreign wolves."

Whiplash nodded and started back into the den.

"Oh, Whiplash." I beckoned the wolf back.

"Yes, Aplha?"

"Take care, son."

------

Cana

I growled at the dead rodent in front of me. It was strange, not any type of animal I was used to.

"I think it's dead, Cana." Bane mocked. He had taken down three rabbits, I only had one odd looking mouse creature.

I sat down and glared at the creature in front of me. "It doesn't smell right."

Bane dropped a rabbit in front of me, it landed on top of the mouse. "Here, these smell kind of like the ones back at Summit Lake."

"I wish we were back at Summit Lake." I whined. I had not taken kindly to the New Lands. They were different and frightening. My frustration and sorrow finally built up in me and I let out a long pain-filled howl.

*Hope it's okay that Bane is with Cana*

Oceanleaf

I awoke to the oh too familiar sound of an Alpha's crying howl to her pack, I knew it was Lhuna. The need to give a reply was almost unbearable but I knew I was no longer apart of Yellowhill and so I fought the urge, scared for what might happen to my brothers who slept at either of my sides.

Oh Mother, what have you planned? I thought.

Getting up slowly so Raven and Dove would not be disturbed I trotted over to the entrance of our small, but comfortable cave, where I could see the star filled sky. How beautiful it trully was, a gift of the spirits. I let out a long sigh and stretched my muscles out, the sun would be rising soon and it would be time to wake my brothers.

As I sat in the cave entrance I smelled something foul, almost a wolf scent, but it wasn't.

River~

River lowered her body to the ground, green eyes locked on a small doe. She crept towards it slowly, her tricolored tail wagging slowly, lips raising hungrily over her jaws. It had been so long since she had a meal. Those god forsaken Brushfire wolves had been nabbing animals up everywhere, hardly giving the hunters of River's group chances to feed the others.

As she crept closer a howl broke the silence around her, the doe snapping its head up quickly, its brown eyes staring right as River, who sunk lower to the ground. Something slithered beneath her, causing her to widen her eyes as a low hiss sounded.

The same something wrapped itself around her front leg. River yowled loudly in surprise and jumped in the air, the bull snake around her leg dropping to the ground with a thump. She backed up quickly, realizing that the doe was long gone as the bull snake slithered closer, raising its head up defensively. River's fur bristled and her lips raised as it got closer, suddenly propelling itself at River.

River slunk to the side quickly, snapping her head back in extreme speed and catching the snake in her jaws, its bones cracking against her teeth. It slumped, dead. She let out a sigh and padded into the clearing, two wolves catching her eyes. They weren't Native, she could tell just by how they looked, but her guess was later confirmed as a wind blew towards her. One appeared to be around her age, but the second seemed much older. What if they were new Brushfire wolves? What if they found her group's camp? A growled slipped out of her jaws as she let the snake fall to the ground, her fur pricking up defensively.

**Hopefully Storm and Lhuna, if that's okay*

Bane~

Bane soon joined Cana, slowly rising on his back legs before dropping back down on the ground with a grunt, wincing as his left paw landed on a rock. In truth, he didn't like the New Lands either, but he was making the best out of it that he could. At least there was food. Cana stopped howling after a few moments, leaning her head down to pick at the dead rabbit.

"I'm sure we'll find the others sooner or later." He smiled weakly at Cana, who took a small bite of the rabbit, lips curling in disgust as she ate.

"I favor sooner much more than later." Cana sighed, looking up to the stars.

"At least we have food," he nosed his own meal, "as odd as it tastes."
