Jayke dug in eating hungrily. He smiled at Brook. "This is good." She blushed a little and nodded.

"Thanks."

"I agree with him. It's great." Taylor smiled. "So whats the plan today?"

"Skiing." Trent said. "Then hanging here by the roasting fire."

"Sounds good to me." Jayke smiled.

"Yeah same here," Brook grinned, taking another bite of her french toast.

*all i've got, sorry! I've got such a headache right now. Ah, do you really have to go? It's Saturday! *

**Doesn't matter to my parents. Plus I have to be up early, like 7 in the morning to go and work at a dirt bike race. I don't kow when I'll be able to get on. I'll probably post before leaving though.**

Brooklyn poked Jayke in the cheek, laughing insanely when he looked over at her. In was eleven fifty five on December thirty-first and she was hyped on caffeine. "New Years is almost here!" She screamed at the top of her lungs, bouncing into the kitchen before hopping back out with a cup of coffee.

*All I got! D: At least we brought something in to build on! **

Jayke laughed and sipped his coffee as he watched her. "THat's your last cup."

"No." She smiled.

"YES!" Jayke replied wrapping his arms around her waist as he pulled her to the couch where they sat in front of the tv. Trent and Taylor had opted out of being at his house on new years, he had a feeling he knew why.

"NO NO NO NO Noo.." She ended in a fit of laughter and he shook his head kissing her neck.

"YOur a mess." He smiled.

Brooklyn giggled softly, her eyes straying over to the clock. Eleven fifty-eight. "I know," she smiled, getting comfortable in Jayke's lap with a cheeky grin. She leaned towards him, kissing him gently.

"We've got one minute until the new year. Any resolutions?" Jayke grinned crookedly as Brooklyn pulled away, spinning around in his lap so she was facing him. One leg was on one side of him, the other on the oppisite side. A pout was apparent on her lips and her arms were rested around his neck, fingers running through his hair.

"I want to spend more time with you." She smiled crookedly. "Ew, and I've got to start sending applications into different collages." She giggled softly. "What about you?"

*UGHHH*

"You kinda stole mine." He replied kissing her. "Maybe get a real nice football scolarship."

"That'd be nice." She smiled. 11:59 He smiled at the clock and pulled her close to him kissing her as he seconds ticked by. He felt her thread her fingers through his hair as he wrapped his arms around her waist pushing into the kiss more. He heard cheering on the tv and he ignored it. He'd miss the ball dropping for a kiss from her any day.

Brooklyn giggled and rolled her eyes after pulling away from him. "You know, a kiss on New Year's entitles the two people that they'll be together all year." She smiled softly, still playing with his hair.

"Yeah, I know." Jayke teased, kissing her again.

*ugh*

When they pulled apart he smiled. "What if that's what I wanted."

"Me too." She smiled before kissing him again. "So now what?" She asked.

"Sleep sounds half way decent." He laughed as he twisted some of her hair around his finger. "Course, I'd stay up sitting with you over sleeping any day."

"Cheesy line," Brooklyn accused teasingly, smiling when Jayke glared at her playfully. "But I love you anyway, Cheesy." She giggled insanely when Jayke's fingers suddenly attacked her sides.

"Take it back," he smiled humorously.

"N-never!" Brooklyn giggled insanely.

"NO!" She screeched laughing. He kissed her neck and tickled her side.

"Take it back." He smiled. "now."

"No!" She laughed. He kept tickling her and kissed her neck again sucking on it.
