War of the Tsurekin

When they got to the front door of the warehouse, they all heard voices back the way they came. It was hard to tell what they were saying over the rain, but they were able hear one of them say, "Who opened the gate!?"

"Looks like we don't have much time left," Skylar said.

Ceder, Elise, and their Tsurekin stayed outside while everyone else went into the warehouse. Ty said, "What are you guys doing?"

Ceder explained, "It's only a matter of time before they start looking for us in the warehouse. We'll stay here and keep them from getting inside while the rest of you find Hiorimaru."

Elise smiled. "Don't worry about us, we'll be fine."

Kai nodded and said, "Let's go." The rest of them went further into the warehouse.

From what they could remember from Shigure's drawing, the warehouse had two large rooms. The first one was the one they were in now, her brother was in the second one at the back of the warehouse. But before they could get that far, they heard a familiar voice ask, "And just where do you think you're all going?"

"Whose there?" Kai asked. They all searched around until they found Brittney sitting beside Arachna on top of an empty shipping crate. Beside her on the ground was Harry and Fang.


(I was planning on having Skylar and Sean stay behind to fight these guys while Kai, Shigure, and Ty go save Hiorimaru.)

"Harry is mine." Skylar said as she smiled Tala getting beside her and crouching low. Sean walked over with Reiky and he nodded.

"Hi Brittney." He smiled.

"Keep them busy." Kai said in a low voice before him and the others disappeared. Arachna went to stop them and Sean in one swift movement picked Reiky up and sent her flying to the spider. Before it could stop and get her she was on his back slamming her small little fists right behind it's head causing damage before returning to her owner. Harry growled low and Fang followed suit.

"What are you doing here?" He demanded.

"Are you that stupid?" Skylar asked as Tala stayed in her position. Fang leaped forward suddenly and Skylar and Tala took a step to the side. Just as he came along their left side Tala sprung on it's back bitting hard on his neck. Skylar saw Tala leap off shoving against the big beast and sending it sliding to the side coming back to stand in front of Skylar.

"Come on, Fang. Get them!" Harry hissed. Skylar watched as Fang flew forward again. She saw Tala lower a little and as soon as Fang was in reach her paw flew out slashing the side of the Tsurekin's face sending it to the ground again. Skylar smiled, they were really getting better.

"Skylar, duck!" Sean said. Skylar dropped as soon as he said it and a web shot over her head.

"This is my fight!" Harry yelled at Brittney. Brittney scoffed and moved back so that she and Arachna were facing Sean.

Kai, Shigure, Ty, Ryukin, Kaeru, and Quincy all moved into the next room. The room was dark, save for a single light that shone onto a figure at the other end of the room. An Asian male in his late teens was chained to the wall.

Shigure's eyes widened as she ran over to him. "Brother!"

Ty followed her running as well, while Kai simply walked while looking around the dark room. "This doesn't feel right," he said to Ryukin.

The dragon nodded and said, "You're right. Getting in here was too easy."

Shigure and Ty were taking the chains off of Hiorimaru. He groaned when they were off and started falling forward. Shigure caught him before helping him to the ground. "Shigure...is that you?"

"Yes, it's me brother."

"What are you doing here?"

"I'm here to get you out."

He shook his head weakly. "No, you have to get out of here..."

"I'm afraid it's too late for that," another familiar voice from the shadows said. All the lights in the room were suddenly on. They saw Alex leaning against one of the walls with Mantia, along with six other kids and their Tsurekin.

***So should Skylar and then finish off Brittney and Harry or what?***

(Kai's going to do Soul Fusion and finish off the six enemies, then fight Alex. I want Skylar and Sean to fight Harry and Brittney for a little while. I've been planning everything to happen like this for a reason. During this battle, Skylar and Sean are going to do Soul Fusion. The long wait is finally over. )

((I figured as much on the soul fusion part, but wasn't sure when it came to who they were battling and so on. ))

Skylar jumped back as Fang's tail flew at her. Tala took the fact that the Tsurekins back was to them to jump on it and tear into it's back yet again. Harry growled and ran at Skylar who just moved to the side slamming her fist in his gut. Fang growled and came to his master's defense pulling him away from Skylar as Tala moved back to her side.

"You really shouldn't charge, Harry." Skylar smiled as he started to get angry.

Harry glared at her and asked, "Since when did you become so strong?"

"We've been training like crazy every day since we first came to Ivy's mansion," Skylar said. "What have you been doing?"

Harry's frown turned into a smile. "I don't need to train. I'm strong enough to beat you as I am." He looked toward where Brittney was standing and asked, "Why don't we show them our full power?"

Brittney scoffed as if she didn't care. "I guess. I was starting to get bored anyway."

Fang and Arachna went to their masters' sides. They both touched their Tsurekin, and their bodies began to glow an eerie dark purple. Harry smiled and said, "Let me show you a little trick we learned from Jirran."

Their Tsurekin broke into pieces and started flowing around them. Just like when Kai used Soul Fusion, the pieces reconnected as armour on their bodies. For Harry, his Tsurekin was large enough that there were enough pieces to cover his entire body. Fang's head became a helmet with his two large teeth acting as guards for Harry's face. As for Brittney, there was only enough to cover her head, hands, and part of her torso. Arachna's pincer legs attached themselves to Brittney's back as if to act as extra arms.

Both Skylar and Sean were shocked at what they saw. Sean was the one who asked, "Since when are you two able to perform Soul Fusion?"

Brittney laughed, and unlike when Kai and Ryukin fuse to create Shinryu, her voice remained normal. "Don't fool yourself. This is entirely different. What you see is the product of Jirran's genius mind. Soul Possession!"


(Ivy will give them a full explanation of what Soul Possession is once they get back. Now's your chance to have Skylar and Sean use Soul Fusion. For Sean, I want his form to consist of only a targeting visor, and a gun that fits around his arm like Megaman. I was going to post something for Kai's group, but I need to get started on my homework if I'm going to get anything done tonight. I'd appreciate it if you could post something for Ty in you next post as well, like him assessing the situation.)

Skylar frowned. "That doesn't sound good to me." She said.

"That's right, we're stronger." Brittney smiled.

"That's not what I meant. Your Tsurekin isn't a possesion." She replied frowning as Tala walked over and looked at her. "I feel sorry for them."

"Feel sorry for yourself." Brittney hissed. Skylar shook her head and crouched forward touching Tala's head for reassurance when she felt her body straighten as it started to get bright. She didn't realize Sean had done the same. She felt metal seemingly and painlessly melding to her body. When she opened her eyes she was thinking like two. She smiled as Brittney and Harry stared. Skylar had a helmet like a wolf on her head, her whole body was about covered in metal and her hands looked like huge paws with claws that glowed blue and looked to be laser like. Her eyes were half blue half green and her feet also were paws with long blue claws that were all metal unlike her hands. The jaw of her mask was covered in sharp razor teeth that completely protected her face. She glanced at Sean who looked no different other then a visor on his head he looked normal. Until he brought one of his hands up. It was wrapped in a gun like arm. She smiled.

"This, Brittney, is called Soul Fusion." Skyra said her voice a mix of her's and Tala's. "Now, what was that about being more powerful?" She crouched low as Harry sprung at her. She jumped to the side slamming her paw into his back sending him flying forward.

"So this is what Soul Fusion feels like," Sean said. He looked at the gun on his hand and smiled. "This is cool! I'm like Megaman!" He started aiming the gun around the room, but said, "Hey, how do I fire this thing?"

Brittney frowned with annoyance. "This is a battle, stop messing around!" She jumped forward toward Sean, aiming to strike.

"Uh-oh!" Sean swung his gun around, aiming it at Brittney. A blast of what looked like orange plasma shot out of the barrel. Brittney managed to spin herself in midair to change her trajectory before being hit by the blast. The plasma hit the side of the warehouse and created an explosion that rocked the entire building. When the dust settled, there was a giant charred hole in the wall with excess plasma dripping off the edges.

Everyone stared at the giant hole Sean had just made. After a few moments, Sean smiled and started jumping up and down. "Oh man, this is way too cool!"


(I booked a half hour on the treadmill in the gym today so I don't have time to write the second half of my post. I'll do it once I get back and take a shower.)

Alex smiled a little as he watched Kai and the others form a semi-circle around Hiorimaru. "Jirran suspected Shigure would try to betray him after what happened last night, so he sent me to guard her brother. But I wasn't expecting you to show up, Kai. So tell me, why are you helping her when she betrayed you?"

"My reasons are my own," he said.

Alex nodded. "I suppose that's true. However, I cannot simply let you walk out of here." He looked at the others accompanying him and said, "Take care of them."

Skyra stared and smiled. "That was awesome!" She smiled as he kept jumping up and down.

"Wasn't it? That's like deadly with first contact!" He grinned. Skyra's senses filled with Harry's scent and she dropped quickly and rolled to the side as he ran at her.


"Time to finish this and see what is taking the others so long." Skyra Said as she crouched low and growled. "Lets see what I can do!" She jumped at him and slashed his shoulder with his claw. The green flittered as it grazed across Harry's shoulder as he tried to move probably saving himself from getting his arm cut off. There was a huge gash though. Skyra froze as she breathed in. "The others have unexpected company, Alex is here!" She said looking at Sean.

Ty looked at Alex and the people with him. He narrowed his eyes as Quincy shifted at his side.

"Jirran will be very pleased though if we manage to keep you here though, it'll be icing on the cake. Your little group will be helpless without you." He smiled. There was a loud crashing sound and everyone glanced towards the door before they heard someone yelling. Ty glanced at Shigure wishing he knew what it was. Were Sean and Skylar alright?

"It won't be easy keeping us here." Kai replied.

"I know, that's the fun in it." Alex replied.


**So do Skylar and Sean come to help, or what? And I couldn't keep running for that long I get bored.**

(No, Kai and the others can handle them, and when the grunts are out of the way Kai and Alex are going to duke it out while Shigure and Ty take Hiorimaru to safety. As for the running, if you have an Ipod or something listening to music while running helps. I like to listen to music when I'm working on assignments that don't require an excessive amount of thinking, it helps to drown out all the noises in my head, like the voice in my head that keeps telling me to go do something less boring.)


Skyra, the person created when Skylar and Tala fused, continued to fight Harry. He was strong, but his moves were too sluggish, too uncoordinated. He had a tough time trying to keep up with her. It didn't matter how strong you were, if you can't even catch your opponent you won't stand a chance.

As for Sean, he didn't even look like he was fighting at all. He was having too much fun jumping all around the room, from ledge to ledge, simply dodging all of Brittney's attacks. Brittney growled in frustration and said, "Hold still!" She extended her arm, streams of webbing shot out of each finger of her metal hand. But just like every other attack, Sean dodged it swiftly.

Sean climbed all the way up a stack of shipping containers until he reached the ceiling. He hung from one of the support arches and said, "Catch me if you can!" Brittney gritted her teeth as she went to the nearest wall and literally started walking up it.

Meanwhile, Skyra continued her fight with Harry. He came charging in with an attack, but she dodged it and slashed him across the back, leaving a large claw mark down the back of his armour.

Harry stepped away to catch his breath. Skyra smiled and asked, "Had enough?"

Harry frowned at her. He started to say something, but then his eyes suddenly went blank. A few seconds later his expression changed, as well as his voice. He seemed to stare off into space when he said, "Harry, you're getting weak. Let me take care of her." His voice had changed into Fang's.

Harry shook his head and said, "I can fight just fine on my own!" His voice had gone back to normal.

But then he blanked out again, then said, "If you take one more hit your body will be badly damaged. Jirran won't be very happy if he finds out we lost again."


(I'd post for Kai, but I'm getting tired. I'll try posting for him sometime tomorrow night after eight. I have to get up earlier tomorrow morning for my eight o'clock class, then when that's over I'm going over to a friend's house to play video games until five. Then as soon as I get back I'm going to the anime club. If I have a chance to post sooner I will, but if not you know why.)

(((Fine with me. And I've tried music. I get to bored. Thats why I like basketball, it's not supposed to be so contact, but it really is. )))

Skyra narrowed her eyes and looked at him. "What have you done? Possesion can't be that great if you don't fight together."

"Shut up!" Harry hissed. He argued with Fang for a little while longer and Skyra clinched her fists getting bored with it.

"Make up your mind. I'm really getting tired of hearing you bicker!" She growled crouching a little. "Come on, unless you want to give up."

"Your back!" Sean said. She dropped low and a web slipped over her head. She stood back up and smiled at him.

"Thanks." She said before moving so Harry was between her and Brittney.

Sean frowned at Brittney, who was now on the same ceiling arch as him. Her feet seemed to stick firmly to the metal as she hung upside down. "Stop trying to hit Skylar when you're supposed to be fighting me."

Brittney frowned back. "Then stop running away and actually fight me!"

"I can't help it. Your aiming sucks so much that it's so easy to dodge your attacks." He smiled teasingly at her the way he would to a friend, which just made her more mad.

Brittney seemed to zone out for a moment, then she started speaking with Arachna's hissing voice. "Brittney, let me take care of him. I'll trap him like a fly in a web, and then you can punish him however you want."

Brittney sighed and said, in her own voice, "I guess it can't be helped." She closed her eyes and her body glowed a deep purple again. When she opened her eyes, her irises had changed to a dark red. It was Arachna talking when she said, "I hope you're ready to die, my prey."

Meanwhile, Skyra still waited for Harry and Fang to stop arguing. To her surprise, Harry gave in. "Fine, do whatever you like. But if you get one scratch on my body I'll make you pay."

Just like with Brittney, Harry closed his eyes as his body began to glow purple. When he opened his eyes again, they had changed to something cat-like. He looked at Skyra and smiled. That smile alone gave him the look of a wild predator. Fang was in control now.

He suddenly moved. He was so fast that Skyra barely had enough time to move back just to avoid getting hit. His claw passed a mere half inch over her face. She did a backward somersault to get some distance between her and Fang. She got into her usual stance and tensed up as soon as she was on her feet. A moment later she saw a few strands of her hair fall from her head and land on the ground.

The fight with Kai's group began. Ty and Quincy took on one opponent, while Shigure and Kaeru took on two, and Kai and Ryukin took on three. Alex and Mantia stayed back and watched the fight.

Ryukin squared off against against his opponents. He made sure to stay between them and Kai. Two of the enemies charged at him, but he easily knocked them back. As the battle progressed, one of the enemy Tsurekin started to move slowly around the fight while Ryukin was too busy fighting to notice it and Kai too busy giving him orders. When Ryukin's back was turned, the Tsurekin charged at Kai.

As if he knowing the enemy was there all along, Kai turned to face the Tsurekin head on. His fist collided with the creature's face, sending it flying into the side of a metal crate.

Kai smiled when its master ran to its side. "That's one down, five more to go."

Skyra growled low in her throat. "You did not just do that!" She hissed her claws tightening a little. She shot forward slamming her fist into Fang's face before he could move her claws having retracted into her hand. She jumped up her feet slamming in his chest and throwing him back as she let her claws back out and crouched. [i]"You're going to regret that!" She hissed as she growled low in her throat.

"You can't do anything." Fang laughed jumping towards her. SHe got out of the way in time and slashed his upper arm with her claws.

"Don't say that til you're standing over my dead body." She growled.
