"Follow me," Ivy said. She led them down the length of the beach until they came to a small escarpment. She stopped in front of a large oddly shaped rock leaning against the wall. Sahara pushed it to the side to reveal a dark tunnel.

"Where does that lead to?" Sean asked.

"Somewhere very important," Ivy said as she pulled out a flashlight. "Watch where you're going, it's very easy to hit your head in this tunnel." Everyone followed her into the tunnel. About five minutes in, she said, "Kurt and I found this place three years ago when he brought me to this beach on a date. He and I are the only ones who know about it. I had my beach house built nearby and bought the surrounding land as private property so no one would stumble across it."

They finally got to the end of the tunnel and entered a giant cavern. There were five pillars in the center surrounding a round egg shaped statue. The walls of the cavern were filled with symbols from another language and pictures of dragons. The ceiling was perfectly flat and completely covered with glowing crystals. Every crystal was the same shape and spiralled inward to a larger crystal in the centre. Oddly enough, the largest one was the only one not glowing.

Ivy pointed to the crystals. "There are exactly nine hundred and ninety nine small crystals on that ceiling. Each crystal represents one year. When we first found this place, the three crystals closest to the centre one were not glowing. The one in the centre represents the thousandth year.

"Is that what you wanted to show us?" Kai asked.

She shook her head. "No. What I wanted you to see was this." She went to stand beside the egg shaped statue.

"What is that supposed to be?" Skylar asked.

"What you see before you is the egg of Draco the Dragon."

(Just a reminder, Draco the Dragon is one of the five Tsurekin Lords. And just a heads up, they won't be able to destroy it no matter how hard they try. So how's that for a twist?)

***Good***

"Can't we destroy it then?" Skylar asked looking at the huge egg.

"No, Sahara went at it for two days straight and didn't leave a scratch." Ivy replied.

"Maybe Ryukin could destroy it." Tala said.

"No, we've researched, nothing will happen to it until he comes out." Ivy replied.

"So what'll we do?" Skylar asked. "Can we moved it, like put it somewhere that would make it hard for him?"

"There's no way to move it," Ivy said. "There's nothing we can do until it hatches."

"Isn't it a little small?" Elise asked. "I thought you said the Tsurekin Lords were as tall as mountains."

"What's inside this egg isn't the Tsurekin Lord himself, but his spirit. Once the egg hatches and the spirit is released, his body will materialize on its own."

"So if there's nothing we can do, then why bring us here?" Sean asked. "I mean, what's the point?"

"The point is to show you the reality of what's to come. The Tsurekin Lords will awaken. When that happens, they will be drawn to the closest collection of Tsurekin, and where do you think that is?"

"Our town." Skylar said looking at her. "Then what keeps Tsurkinian (I think that's spelled wrong) from joining with us if we both want to survive whats to come?"

**Nothing, I'll let you answer that.**

(Tsurikansen is how it's spelled.)

"Nothing. Any person would know the best way to overcome these giants would be to fight together. That is, any sane person." Ivy sighed as she tried to hide the regret in her eyes. "I don't know what caused it, but ever since Chimera became Jirran's Trurekin he started to change. He's... not right in the head. He knows the destruction the Tsurekin Lords will bring, and he even knows that one of them will awaken somewhere near the town. Any normal person would be frightened, but Jirran is excited. He's actually looking forward to the five lords awakening."

"Why?" Kai asked.

"I think he aims to control Draco the Dragon. I don't know how he plans on doing it, but if he succeeds there won't be anything stopping him from causing mass destruction across the world. Not only that, but the other four Tsurekin Lords will try to step in and stop him. A battle between two lords could be as destructive as the meteor that killed all the dinosaurs and brought about the ice age."

"Then we have six people we need to stop." She said as she looked at Ivy.

"Six?" Becky asked looking at them all.

"Yes, the guy that doesn't like us too." Skylar replied taking a deep breath. "And we aren't ready to do so yet."

**OY, I'm going to bed. Night.**

(Good night.)

"There are many more members of Tsurikansen than those you've met so far," Ivy said. "And in order to get to Jirran, you'll have to go through them."

Kai's eyes began to drift around the cavern as he listened to Ivy's words. His gaze settled on an archway passage to another room. "What's over there?" he asked.

Ivy led them all to the next room. It was enormous, and filled to the brim with smaller versions of Draco's egg. "Are those all eggs, too?" Ceder asked.

Ivy nodded. "Each of these eggs houses a spirit of one of the lord's servants, they are known as Tsurekin Agents. They will hatch at the same time their lord will. Just one of these Agents are three times the strength of a normal Tsurekin, and five times the size. From what I've discovered from the writings on the walls, these Agents will hatch to become Wyverns. While they may be stronger physically, they are not true Tsurekin because they share no bond with any human. Just as I said before, your bonds with your Tsurekin are your greatest strength."

"You can say that all you want, but there's got to be hundreds of these things!" Skylar said. "Are you saying we'll have to fight these things on top of the Tsurekin Lord?"

Ivy nodded. "Yes, but once you all learn how to use Soul Fusion and start unlocking your full potential, these Agents will be no problem for you."

"Ivy..." Elise said. There was fear in her voice.

"What's wrong, Elise?"

Elise lifted a shaky hand toward what she was looking at. Ivy shined her flashlight in that direction to get a better look. By the wall, where one of the eggs were supposed to be, was instead occupied by a pile of rubble. In front of it was a gigantic hole in the ground that looked to have been dug by hand. The hole was so deep that it was impossible to see the bottom.

(They're not going to fight the Agent now. I'm saving it for later.)

Skylar walked over with the others and looked down the hole. "Could one have hatched early?"

"That's the only possibility." Ivy said looking down it. "That doesn't make sense, they shouldn't be able to."

"Alot of things shouldn't be able to happen, but have." Skylar replied stepping back from the hole. "This place is giving me the creeps, sense we can't get rid of it can we leave?"

Ivy nodded. "There's nothing else for me to show you, so yes." They made their way back through the tunnel and outside.

"I don't like this," Skylar said. "We have a mad man who controls a group of delinquents that we have to defeat, and on top of that we have to fight one of those Agents?"

Ceder piped in. "What scares me the most is that it could show up anywhere at any time and we have no way of knowing. It could even show up tonight for all we know."

"I think it's a good thing one of them hatched," Kai said.

Everyone stopped and looked at him. "Why the hell would you think that?" Skylar asked.

"Think about it. Once the Tsurekin Lords awaken we'll have to fight hundreds of these things. I don't know about you guys, but I'd rather have the chance to fight one beforehand to get a better sense of our future enemies. Plus, I want to see the pay off of my training."

"True, and we'll know what they look like too." Skylar sighed. "Still, until then we're going to have to keep our eyes opened."

(I know how that feels. I find that sometimes the only way to get over it is to think even harder about what you want to write.)

Shigure kept close to the back of the group as they made their way back to the beach house. She made sure no one was watching her before pulling out her cell phone. She started texting in it. The message said, I have more information. Meet me at 2:00 am.

Ty heard the clicking of buttons so he looked over his shoulder to see what it was. "Hey Shigure, what are you doing?"

Shigure pressed send before putting the phone back in her pocket. "I was just checking the time," she said. He seemed satisfied with the answer because he didn't say anything else. Although it was her job, after sending that message Shigure felt a tiny pang of regret in the pit of her stomach. But she reminded herself why she was doing this, for her brother's safety.

(This isn't the part where they find out she's a spy, I'm saving that for later when Shigure becomes close with Ty.)

(You could write about them all getting ready for bed, then I'll do a time jump to 2:00 and have Shigure sneak out of the house.)

(((So Sky won't notice?)))

Skylar walked into the house and looked around the living room before she walked to her room and pulled out her shorts and tank top. She got changed and rolled her neck.

"Where are you going?" Shigure asked.

"For a run. I'll be back in about ten minutes." She replied before slipping outside. She needed to clear her head a little. When Tala saw her get up and leave the house she followed. It was harder to run at full speed on the sand, but the run cleared her head and made her feel better. She got back to the house, took a quick shower, and then climbed in bed falling asleep quickly.

(Or wouldn't Tala notice her living?)

(Shigure is a ninja. They wouldn't notice her leave if they were awake, let alone while they're fast asleep. )

Shigure was already in bed by the time Skylar and Tala came back. She had chosen the top bunk while Sky wanted to sleep in the bottom. She only pretended to be asleep. She waited until it was two o'clock in the morning before she made her move.

She crawled to the edge of her bed and hopped off. She didn't even make a sound when she landed on the floor, thanks to all her years of training. She didn't have to let Kaeru know what was going on, the frog was already up as well. She walked quietly toward the door and reached for the handle.

She froze when she heard Skylar make a sound. Shigure stayed perfectly still as she waited. Skylar was still asleep, she was just rolling onto her side. Shigure waited a few more moments before quietly opening the door and closing it behind her.

Shigure made her way down the hall, careful not to make any noise that might wake anyone. There was a window at the end of the hall, and on the other side was a tree she could use to climb down. She had to get past the bathroom first though, and she could see light shining through the bottom of the door.

When she started to pass it she heard the toilet flush. A moment later the door knob began to turn. Without even having to think, Shigure and Kaeru jumped up and grabbed onto one of the ceiling arches. They waited as Ceder opened the door and walked out. He was rubbing his eyes as he made his way back to his room.

Once he was gone, Shigure and Kaeru dropped back down and snuck the rest of the way to the window. They opened it, climbed out, closed it behind them, and jumped onto the tree. They shimmied down to the ground and took off down the beach. She came to the rock that covered the entrance to the cavern Ivy had shown them. Waiting for her when she got there were none other than Brittney, Harry, Alex, and their Tsurekin.

"You'd better have a very good excuse for making us drive all the way out here in the middle of the night," Brittney said.

"I have something to show you that I think you'll find very interesting," Shigure said.

"And what would that be?" Harry asked as he leaned against the large rock. "It better not be the view."

"Move away from that rock and I'll show you."

"Why? What's so special about this rock?"

Shigure didn't bother explaining. She pushed him out of the way before pushing the large rock aside with the help of Kaeru. "Follow me," she said before entering the tunnel. She didn't bother telling them to watch their heads. She figured if they weren't smart enough to watch where they were going they deserved to smack their head on something. As it turned out, both Brittney and Harry hit their heads on the low hanging rocks at least once. Alex, on the other hand, was smart enough to keep his eyes open.

They arrived at the cavern where Draco's egg rested. Both Brittney and Harry seemed dissatisfied. "This is it?" Harry asked, his voice edged with irritation. "This is what you called us here for? A bunch of pretty stones and a stupid statue?"

"This isn't just any statue," Shigure said. "This is none other than the egg of Draco the Dragon, one of the five Tsurekin Lords."

Brittney approached the stone egg and looked it over. She crossed her arms and frowned. "You mean this tiny thing is supposed to hold one of the most powerful entities in existence? What kinda of fools do you take us for?"

"The egg houses his spirit. When it hatches, his body will materialize on its own."

Alex smiled as he went up to the egg and ran his hand across its surface. "Amazing. I never thought I would ever get the chance to get this close to one of the Tsurekin Lords without having to fight it."

"There's more," Shigure said before leading them toward the next room. Alex stared at the egg a few moments longer before following. Shigure pointed at all the smaller eggs and said, "These are all of Draco's servants, the Tsurekin Agents. They will hatch the same time Draco does, and each one of them is a Wyvern. They will be three times as strong as a regular Tsurekin, and five times the size."

"That's a lot of eggs," Harry said.

Alex smiled again. "Three times the strength of a regular Tsurekin you say? I wouldn't mind having the chance to fight something like that."

"You may get your wish sooner than you think," Shigure said as she pointed to the hatched egg and the giant hole in front of it.

"So one of them hatched early?" Harry asked. "I thought you said they would all hatch at the same time."

"There's only half a year left until the Tsurekin Lords awaken. It's possible some of their Agents might awaken a little sooner. After all, they've been asleep for a millennia."

"This is better than we could have anticipated," Alex said. "Jirran will surely be overjoyed once he hears about your recent find."

"I've held up my end of the bargain," Shigure said. "When will he let my brother go?"

Alex turned to face her. "That reminds me, Jirran gave me a message for the next time I saw you. He said he has one last job for you, and if you can pull it off he'll fulfill his promise."

"And what is this job he wants me to do?" she asked.

"We'll give you the details another time, when we find a more secure place to discuss it. Until then, just keep doing what you're doing."

(We can do a time jump to the next morning. By the time Skylar wakes up Shigure will already be in bed.)
