**Moo, do you mind if I post to go along with you last post? If you do then just ignore Marissa**

Marissa - Human~

Marissa gaped after the dark horse as it trotted away from her triumphantly. Her fingers itched to grab her bow, but she only clenched her fist. The horse could belong to someone and the last thing she wanted to do was pay off a debt to someone for killing their horse. She groaned and ran to catch up with the horse, now only a few feet away from it. She held up her palm a second time and crept closer, her ice blue eyes studying the horse's tensed muscles. He was going to run off again, she knew it. Her coin pouch hung limply from his teeth, taunting her.

Without hesitating Marissa lunged at the horse, only to watch him jump away before she met with the ground. "God forsaken horse. If I miss breakfast at Luna's I'm really going to kill someone." She growled and stood up shakily, blowing her wavy hair out of her eyes angrily. The horse whinnied in humor, black eyes dancing with mischief. Marissa growled in annoyance and started chasing him again, careful not to trip over the branches that the horse jumped over with ease.

After a few minutes of chasing the horse Marissa dropped to the ground in an exhausted heap, letting out a loud groan. She pounded the ground a few time in sheer anger and finally stood up. "Take the stupid money you stupid horse. That's right, you're a stupid horse!" She pointed an accusing finger before crossing her arms and stomping in the opposite direction of where they had been running. She heard the beat of hooves behind her and grinned wickedly, still walking. She was going to get her money back even if it meant tricking the stupid animal.

I wondered around the house, tired of the same old routine. I was alone, in a mansion on the outside of the woods. Something was knocked over, and I could hear noise on the roof. I didn't bothered to move. My sensed told me someone came in piece. I could always be wrong, but what's to worry about?

*anyone jump in. Please.*

Rob
I walked the sidewalk desperately, searching for something to kill. Someone, anything!
I walked into a ally, after hearing some kind of noise. A small girl, with bright green eyes, was there. Something told me she as more than just a human, and I pulled out my sword.

*lizz, hope it's ok*

*I will*

Kurt~

I was to tierd to try to find my way home in the dark so I tought it would be a good idea to use Shadow and see if he could shadow travel like most other hell hounds. I jumped on his back and held on as darkness engulfed us. It was scary how I could only hear Shadow's barks as we ran through darkness. Right when we were about to exit I slipped and fell off of Shadow tumbling though nothingness. I fell out of a shadpw of a chimey, and landed with a thud onto the roof.

"Ouch." I muttered as I stood and stretched. A roof of a mansion was more comforting then darkness. I began to walk when I slid and fell off. "AHHHHHH!" I managed before landing on a bush.

"Are you OK?" A person asked as the window opened.

"Yeah. Your bush broke my fall." I replied as I strugled to my feet.

"What were you doing on my roof?" they asked.

"Long story." I mumbled still trying to get untangled from the bush.

of course it's ok!

Aella~~

She was just taking a rest and talking to the ally cat spirit, what did this human want with her? She had whispered, this could only mean one thing, he was a hunter. As he pulled out his sword, Aella threw up her hands in defence.

"Can I help you?" The auburn asked.

"What are you?" The words formed in his mouth.

"A girl needing of cash so she has to sleep outside," Aella got up and dusted herself off.

"No your something," He stepped closer, his sword out.

Maxwell~~

His music filled the air of night, the violin strings were arm and in entranced anyone who walked by. MAxwell took note of the man looking like he was going to en strangle someone and shrugged it off. As the song came to a close he bowed his head and the audience applauded and he packed quickly, he needed a place to sleep and that park bench was inviting. He heard something coming out of a nearby ally.

"No your something," He quietly looked in and stopped wide eyed at the man with a sword at the young girl.

"MAy I help you?" Maxwell walked up behind the both of them.

"She just asked me that."

"I mean what are you doing to my enchantress?" His mellow voice echoed through the the ally.

"I knew it she was a witch!" His sword was closer to the young wide eyed girl.

"Stop waving your plastic at my girlfriend! YOu need help man!"
The one who smiles the most has something to hide.

Xavier

I whinnied in mirth as I trotted behind the girl, swinging and jingling the purse in her ear temptingly, my muscles tensed, preparing for the moment when she would make a grab.
She whipped around, quicker than a snake's strike, the very tips of her fingers grasping the material of the purse.
I neighed in surprise, rearing up to try and pull it from her hands, but she clung on as I lifted her clean off the ground for a moment.
My hooves hit the ground with a deafening boom and I tugged on the purse, swishing my tail like a playful puppy.
"Let go, you idiot!" the girl yelled, grunting with the effort to try and prize the purse from my teeth. I tugged, flaring my nostrils as my ears pointed straight forward.
The girl gave an exasperated sigh, as we looked at each other, me with my daring stare and her with one as cold as ice.

*Can someone bring Karin in?*

Robert
I scanned the supposed couple closely. They were both something, but against both I wouldn't stand a change.
I hated admitting defeat, but I had to, in this situation. I took a deep breath, and turned my back on them. The girl chuckled, and I threw a dagger that hit the wall behind her.
"Missed it," and I turned the corner.

*Oh! Sorry Chinchilla. Theres a part where you wrote 'they', so I thought it wasn't her. *

Karin
I held out my hand, and flashed a big smile. "I'm Karin."
He wasn't here with some evil purpose, so it was okay, I guess. Being alone had tiren me.
The door bell rang.
"Wait a minute," I smiled again and went to the door.
"Ceja!" I smiled, when I saw her staring at the door way. "Come in!"

Ceja

"I'm only here for a moment, Karin," said Ceja, quickly stepping through the mansion's threshold. "Perhaps a day or two, but I'll be back on the road soon enough."

"What's wrong?" asked Karin, shutting the door quickly.

"Hunters," said Ceja in a single, harsh syllable.

"What?!"

"I've been on the run for the past few weeks - " explained Ceja quickly, dropping her bag on the floor. "And I managed to loose them. but they will be coming back. I moved to quickly to cover my tracks properly."

"Did you lead them here?" cried Karin anxiously. Ceja scoffed.

"Of course not, Karin. I am not a fool."

Karin

I sighed. I knew Ceja wouldn't lead them here, on purpose, but she said she didn't had time to cover her tracks properly. Something moved outside and I went to window again.
"Oh, right. Sorry." The man was up. "Do you want to enter?"
Ceja was quickly by my side, stiff. "Who's that?"
"I'm not sure," I smiled at her, as he entered by the window.
He grinned, and presented himself. "Kurt Cage," he held out his hand. I shook it, and noticed something, His warmth was not like ours.
"Human?!" I whispered. How could I not have known?
"What?" Both Ceja and Kurt asked.

Marissa~

Marissa was already tired of this, and it had only been a little while. She was hungry, annoyed, and wanted to get to Luna's house already. The horse wasn't showing any signs whatsoever of giving up. Keeping a clutched hand on the pouch Marissa moved her other down to the pack that was attached to the opposite side that the money pouch once sat. The horse's eyes moved after her hand, almost as if he'd attack her if she pulled out a weapon. Instead, she took a sugar cube from her pack and held it up, next to his nose. "You want it?" She breathed, exhausted. The horse stared at the white cube momentarily before looking back at Marissa with a more challenging stare that before.

"I'll take that as a no," Marissa groaned and stuffed the cube back into her pack, thinking of something else she could do. Leaving the pack open on her hip she stood, hand still latched to the coin pouch. She reached her other hand behind the horse's ear, scratching gently. "If you were a good boy you'd give me my stu- my money back." She smiled softly, trying to find the pressure point on the stupid horse.

*all I gots sorry!*

Desmond~~

I fell into the chair and let the cool sound of music drift over me. My body melted and fit to the chair perfectly, lulling me deeper into sleep. I sighed and started tapping my fingers to the beat of the piano playing in the background. It was a nice song, maybe not the most appropriate for the times, but for a normal human it would be fine.

The music continued to rise until it flowed like a wave, rising, rising and then in one fell swoop, breaking. Abruptly the music stopped. In a second I was on my feet. I rolled to the side and came up fast, my hands ready to fight.

I waited for the crash. For the Hunters to break in, but there was silence. Then a laugh.

I turned and saw a slightly chubby man holding the record that had been playing in a grimy hand while the other rested on a knife on his belt.

I sighed and shuffled back to my seat, putting the hilt of my sword in reach just in case.

"Alec, I thought I told you not to sneak up on me." I muttered through gritted teath. He had no idea how close to death he was.

He laughed again, "But its so much fun" He paused to sit down, "So Desmond, what brings you to my humble abode?"

"I need some food, and water."

"I thought blood was your gig now."

"I don't normally ask for that."

The man laughed for the third time, something I would never do again, "I'll have the wife bring something in in a moment." He disappeared through the door he came in through and set the music back on.

I leaned back in the chair, letting the music wash over me again. I relaxed, and made my first mistake of the day. I let my guard down.

The door in front of me shattered and fell to the floor in a battered wreck. A large man charged in, his sword over his head, ready to come down upon my body. I rolled forward, coming up right in front of him. His eyes widened as my hands rose to intercept his blade.

The mans pulse pounded in fear, and I felt it. It thrilled me and drove me to ecstasy in seconds. A grin grew on my face as it changed from that of a human to that of a demon. I lunged forward and bit down on his vein, the blood flowing from his body to mine. I shivered in joy and let the limp body fall to the ground, blood barely seeping out of the holes on its neck.

Blood dribbled down my chin and dripped on to the floor. My sleeve ran across the narrow trail and erased all trace of the blood that had once stained the porcelain skin. I moved to retrieve my sword belt, immeasurable energy stored inside my body.

Alec came back into the room, his face blank. He looked at the body then said, "Go. I will find you in the forest."

I nodded my thanks to the man before running outside. I had relaxed for a single second and almost gotten killed. I would not make that mistake again. The red in my eyes glinted, reflecting the evil coursing through my veins.
Words - so innocent and powerless as they are, as standing in a dictionary, how potent for good and evil they become in the hands of one who knows how to combine them. ~Nathaniel Hawthorne
