Jack

"Oh bugger" I said as The drones stepped out of the cars allot of them. Most of them were level two's and threes but the one who had come first had level four brightness all over her except her eyes they shone black, like my eyes did when I looked at my self in the mirror with power vision. Tobias was blubbering on the floor and The one who had had his hand twisted round was sinking onto the car trying to be unnoticed.

"come quietly and none of you will be hurt" The woman drone said her voice loud.

"truce" I said and the woman called Trina who had just arrived nodded and took out a gun which she pointed at one of the drones and pulled the trigger. Bang! The drone fell to the floor clutching it chest the others gave him a once over before turning to attack us. I raised my eyebrows at her and she shrugged before we ran in the direction of the Starbucks.

"run run run" I shouted at myself as a view more drones dropped thanks to David. Before Me or Trina could reach the safety of the coffee shop a pulse of energy hit us both and we were flipped up into the air and smashed through a window just above the Starbucks. Trina was knocked out and I picked up her gun and tucked it into my waist band.

I jumped down from the window my ankles breaking an healing almost instantly I dived through through the crowds of drones until I got too Tobias who I grabbed and pulled to the side.

"that really hurt" Tobias said and nodded.

"hey stop" A drone said I didn't look back but pulled my gun and shot him.

Before Jesse could respond, Robin had pulled a bag of something green from Jesse's pocket.

"Hey!" Jesse yelled with a scowl.

Robin looked furious. "Home. Now." She grabbed his arm and began dragging him back down the alleyway.

Jesse snatched at the bag but Robin was too quick and he was too disoriented to catch it. He tried again and this time the baggie made contact with his hands and he snatched it back and stuffed it in a different pocket, keeping his hand over it protectively.

"I need that," he slurred.

Robin glared and cuffed him off the back of the head.

"Give me the pot, Jesse," she said.

"No! It's mine!"

"Now."

Jesse glared at Robin and kept his hand protectively over the little baggie of pot. His mind was too foggy to register that this was an obviously bad idea and that Robin would probably kill him. He started following her home, even though she wasn't moving yet.

Robin~June 14~7:38 AM

Robin used the pull she had on water to yank Jesse back. After all, the human body is 2/3 water.

"Give it to me NOW!" she barked. She wrenched his hands away from the pocket and snatched it from him, sticking it in her bag.

Jesse scowled. "You suck."

"And you're high, now we're going home. If I'm late to work because of you, Jesse Wolfe, I'm going to pummel you."

"Your looking happy. Why are you looking happy?" It was his one and only friend, standing against his shabby door.
"No reason." Dan wanted to keep his meeting with the girl secret, anyone find out and he would be back in the same boat as last time, a clueless soldier.
"You know something, don't you?"
"And how are you?" He flicked a strand of hair behind his cheek, controlling his flaming cheeks.
"What is it? A new hot rebel on the run?" He wasn't going to drop it, to dan's annoyance.
"It's good to hear your so enthusiastic today, and hows work?" Dan and Jack always talked like this, both listening but not really hearing the others point of view.
"Tell me what's going on." Jack's face dropped, staring hard. "What is it that you won't tell me? Well, you don't have a social life so it can't be that." Dan gave a fake snigger. "If it was about work you would have already told me."
"Oh, you think you'll find out by the process of elimination."
"Oh, you don't? You know who you were?"
"How could know that? I mean what the...?" Jack smiled warily.
"Good, am I not? So what's you real name? Who were you? A weird civillian rebel who spent his time socialising?"
Dan nodded.

Oliver- 6/14- 7:45

Gunshots rang out, and Oliver tried to move faster. There were so many people. Stupid chair, it made it so hard to manouver in a crowd.

One of the drones seemed to be scanning the bystanders. He tried his best not to look suspicious. My name is George Youngs. I sell office supplies. I was crippled in a car wreck. He continued to repeat this in his mind, just in case one of them was a telepath. I heard gunshots and it scared me, so I tried to leave faster. I don't know what's going on and pose no threat to anyone present.

((He's on Burbon street in case anyone missed that))

Jenny- 6/14- 6:45 central

Jenny tapped the screen of her computer impatiently, not really looking at the images flashing across the screen. It wouldn't have mattered anyways; they were going too fast for human eyes to track. Come on come on come on! She was close, so close to finding out where he'd gone. Why was it taking her so long to process this information?

She groaned and pulled the laptop shut before the screen had cleared. None of the pictures matched. Oliver was just as elusive as ever.

Why did Buddy have to leave? What had she done wrong? She could still hardly believe what had happened, even though it had been four years since he'd disappeared. The little girl looked exceptionally glum as she tucked the computer carefully into its case.

It would be the fourth birthday she'd spent without him.

Enough of that. Joseph Hapton will be able to help you, just wait and see. Wallowing in misery never helped anyone acccomplish anything; just keep your head clear. It will be okay.

Her face smoothed over and she left her room. "Mom, I'm ready for school!"

Jesse Wolfe--Rebel--He still has no idea what time it is, but it's morning and Robin doesn't look too happy...

"I don't want to go home and I'm not high!" Jesse argued, slurring his words more than slightly. He dug his heels into the ground.

The next thing he knew, his feet were moving without him telling them to and Robin had a firm hold on his collar. He tried to squirm away but she was too strong, her pull on water too great.

"Let...go!" he shouted.

Robin ignored him.

Jesse's eyes flashed yellow and his teeth elongated. He muttered unpleasant things under his breath.

"Cool it, and watch your language," Robin said. "Do you want a drone to see you? What is wrong with you, Jesse?" She kept dragging him. It was better than the cops picking him up again. All the same, Robin was sick and tired of his attitude and had been for a long time. She didn't know what to do anymore. All the time it was the same old thing: Jesse got dragged off by the cops. Jesse got high again. Can Robin come help Jesse? He got smashed at a party and didn't want his father to find out. Jesse's lying in the floor of the apartment with his head in a puddle of his own vomit. Robin was tired of being his rescuer...and yet she kept doing it anyway.

"Lemme go!" Jesse contested. He couldn't think of anything better. He was too foggy. He did know that Robin was angry and there was something in there about pummeling, but he didn't get anything else. He did know that he wanted his weed back and that he was pretty mad that she took it from him. "I want my weed."

Ellie ~ Civillian ~ June 14th, 10:35 am

"I can't say it's a charming little thing ... but it sure does have character."

Ellie dropped her bags on the floor, squinting her eyes against the mid-morning sun. Why was it that Spencer had suddenly felt an impulse to come to New Orleans? And to top it all off, Spencer had told the driver of the taxi to take them somewhere way across town. Ellie had grumbled and groaned, and much to her disappointment, didn't make any sort of change to Spencer's decision.

"I mean, really. You're sure your girlfriend lives around here?"

Spencer shot Ellie a silening glance. She closed her mouth, rolling her eyes dramatically when Spencer looked back at the house. They'd been standing here for -- Ellie glanced down at her wrist-watch -- twenty-one minutes and thirteen seconds, but who was counting? Ellie groaned and snatched her heavy suitcases up, stumbling forward with the new weight before steadying herself and letting out a heavy sigh of dismay. Couldn't he just hurry it up already? If she'd wanted to reminisce she would've stayed at home and stared at her pictures!

"I'm going to find us a room, if you don't mind!" Ellie snapped, pointing her nose up slightly and strutting into the apartment building. Ellie wouldn't call it homey, really, but she found someone to talk to and finally started up the stairs. Just as she was dragging her second trunk to the landing, Ellie hurried back downstairs, and --grasping the side of the wall -- peered around at the woman there. "Oh, and if you see a blonde-haired man, sort of disgruntled, just tell him where the room is. My collegue likes to zone out a bit!" She gave a nervous laugh at the skeptical look the woman gave her, Ellie's cheeks burning before she hurried back up the stairs.

Ellie tried to remember which number the room was, but as she started to meander along the halls, she discovered that not all the numbers were in perfect order. In fact, some of them didn't even have numbers. So where was her room?

She dragged her trunk up the steps again, struggling to pull them around the corner to the landing, before ascending more stairs. This area didn't seem like any actually inhabited it, and as Ellie rapped on the door, she discovered that this room must be hers -- since no others had her number, and all were lower than the one she had. "Excuse me, is anyone in there?" Ellie asked, trying to peer through the eye whole there without much success.

She pushed open the door, peering around. "sorry, but is anyone home ...?" She trailed off, spotting numerous contraptions and beakers filled with bubbling liquids of questionable substance. A little cliche for her liking, but she cautiously stepped in, dropping her suitcases beside the door, and peering at everything. And intresting place, indeed.

Just as Ellie was about to turn and go, she discovered a larger dog sitting in the apartment there. "Well, hello!" Ellie said, croching on her knee and beckoning it over. "What are you doing all alone?"

Ellie has discovered Tobias's apartment. Sorry. And if the dog is actually there, I'll edit.

Robin, rebel- 6/14- 7:55

"YOU WANT YOUR WEED?!" Robin shouted. She stopped walking and glared at him. "Of course you want your freaking weed, that's all you care about isn't it? Never mind that Jeremia and I are constantly having to cover for you, keeping you out of prison! Do you know what happens to people like us when the government get ahold of us? Do you?!"

Jesse blinked in a daze, scowling. "I don' care, let me go!"

Robin had HAD it. She turned and thrust Jesse against the wall. "You may not care what happens to you," she growled, dark eyes flashing, "but I'm not about to let you get turned into another of the government's mindless puppets. You are going home now, or I WILL rat you out to your father about the pot. Get it?"

The boy's eyes widened. "You wouldn't," he snarled.

She threw him to the ground. "Watch me. I'm already going to be late for work. A few more minutes won't make much of a difference." Robin stalked away, bristling.

jesse Wolfe--Rebel--Early Morning

Jesse got up and stalked after her. He muttered things under his breath all the way back to the apartment. He mumbled something especially nasty under his breath as she ushered him into the door.

"Hope your boss fires you," he said. He laughed like it was the funniest thing in the world.

Robin walked in after him and slammed the door behind her.

"Siddown," she said.

"No."

"Sit down, Jesse!" she barked, using her pull on water to force him onto the couch. "What on Earth is wrong with you, Jesse?! I turn my back for one day and you're out on the streets with a baggie of weed in your pocket. Are you trying to get arrested?!"

"Maybe," he replied, smirking.

Robin growled and walked into the next room, carrying the little baggie with her. There was a low growl as the garbage disposal consumed it, then the sound of running water flushing all the little pieces down the drain.

"No!" Jesse shouted, running into the other room, the watching as his wares washed down the drain. "What the...why'd you do that, Robin?!" he said. "That was worth a lot of money!"

"I don't care, Jesse," she said. "Shut up and go into the other room and sit down. I'm not done with you yet."

Jesse cursed as he glared down the drain, horrified.

"Get OUT!" Robin shouted, forcing him out of the room. She needed a moment to herself.

A few minutes later she came out of the room. She looked marginally calmer. "Jesse, you can't keep doing this."

Jesse tried to interrupt, but she glared at him. "No, listen to me. If you keep this up, you ARE going to be taken by the government, and you WILL be turned into one of those crazy soldiers running around kidnapping other people like us. Do you know what that would do to everyone? If you can't care enough about yourself, at least think about me and Jeremia." Robin looked genuinely concerned.

Jesse scoffed. "Like you even care."

Robin looked like she was about to lose her temper again, but instead she turned towards the door. "I'm late, and I can't afford to lose this job. Stay here and get some sleep Jesse. This is the last time I'm covering for you though. Next time I catch you with pot, I'm going to Jeremia and I swear you'll get shipped off to some boarding school."

Jesse rolled his eyes. He opened his mouth to say something smart alecky, but Robin was already out the door.

jeremia Wolfe--Rebel--Ten minutes after Robin was supposed to be in the office

Robin walked into the office, obviously perturbed, and took a heavy seat at the desk. She started slogging through the mountain of emails in her inbox, writing some rather ascerbic responses to the individuals she felt were stupid enough to warrant it.

"Hello, Robin," Jeremia smiled, walking over to her desk. "You're late."

"Yeah, I know. Sorry," Robin said flatly. She kept staring at her computer screen.

Jeremia frowned. He knew that tone anywhere. The tone that told him the reason she was late. He looked over her shoulder.

"Most people would fire you for writing that type of stuff to customers," he pointed out.

Robin looked up.

"These people are too stupid to know the difference," she said, hitting her spacebar especially hard.

"What did my son do this time?" Jeremia asked dryly.

**Guys, so can I post for the dog? Well I am doing it anyways.

Jack ~ Dog ~ June 14th ~ 10:40 a.m.

Jack looked up at her, letting out a low whine, and he walked towards her, sniffing the ground carefully. She smelled like she had food on her, and he felt his stomach growl, a long strand of drool escaping out of his mouth. He walked closer to her cautiously, but decided she was just a human being, there was no need for her to hurt him.

He ended up sitting in front of her, head turned to the side cautiously.

Elizabeth ~ Drone ~ June 14th ~ 7:47 a.m.

She watched them all, struggling, even making progress. They would all be captured, severed from there families, because that is what she did, that was just the kind of person she was. She watched the tangle of the powers mush together, the vibrations making it hard for her to decipher anything. And just by a chance she looked over and saw a power weilder hurriedly walking away.

She leapt into action, away from the noise and the different collash of the senses, and trapped this man easily by tripping him and putting her knee into the small of his back, making sure he was pinned to the ground.

"And who are you?" She asked.

"Ol --" He hesitated, "George Young, I d-deliver office supplies..."

"Sir, do you have any recollation of any kind of paranormal powers that you are capable of?" Elizabeth asked, already knowing that he was one, but she merely didn't want to be apart of the huge hassle back there. She would hold onto this one as long as time allowed, that way she wouldn't be able to destroy herself as much afterwards.

"N-no ma'am."

"Aye, but you do." She smiled weakly, "but if you never speak of this again, I may let you walk this once." She cooed into his ear.

Tobias ~ Civilian ~ June 14th ~ 7:47 a.m

He watched the black clad drone's head explode, the gun obviously loaded with some special kind of bullet. Jack has hit him square in the forehead. Tobias watched in horror as he man crumpled to the ground, headless, blood seeping towards Tobias. Tobias terrified, leapt back blood splattered.

"Y-You killed him." Tobias' face had gone pale, his eyes opened in horror. This wasn't supposed to happen, none of it was. He was supposed to be going out to get coffee, going out to get new clothes, not to be brought into the middle of this. He watched the drones scurry after the powers that were trying to go away and to fend them off. But the Drones just kept on coming,

He felt a pull against the back of his collar and he was pulled off the ground by a large drone, heavily muscled, obviously having the ability for enhanced strength. For an instance Tobias thought that this man resembled the Hulk, but quickly washed that way with thoughts about him dying in the hands of this Drone.

How many people had died from this mans hands, how many people's lives were erased, and how many times were people left for nothing after everything they had was taken away. He could not stand it any longer, he would not stand it.

"I would rather keep all my memories," Tobias started to speak, not to anyone in particular, moreover to the man standing behind him, "then give them up to someone like you. No matter how sad or miserable they may be, I will not forget them because I know eventually I will be happy that I kept them close. I will not give them up, no just yet." Tobias turned, and grasped the shirt around his body. "Trace on. Material composition: Wool. Enhancement: Sharpening, shrinking."

The man dropped Tobias almost instantly, his shirt becoming jagged and pointing into his own skin, and it kept on shrinking, nothing was stopping it. Blood seeped out of the mans wounded, and eventually his whole chest seemed to pop, the blood spurting everywhere, landing on Tobias, splattering him from head to toe.

Tobias looked like a read mad man now, blood splatters, dishelved clothing and all.

Robin- Rebel- 8:12

Robin tensed, then set her face into a frown. "He was just... really drunk," she lied. At least alcohol was legal. Maybe by the time Jeremia came home, Jesse would've recovered enough that his father wouldn't know.

Suddenly she leaned back with a groan. "Why does he have to be so stupid? One of these days he's gonna slip up and land himself in a cell somewhere." She was smart enough to not mention that he'd probably get brainwashed and sent out to hunt them down. Not all of her fellow employees were rebels.

Jeremia shrugged. "I don't know." Where did I go wrong? What could I have done differently? he thought, but his expression hid his thoughts entirely. He checked his watch. "George's late too. Wonder what held him up?"

"That guy in the wheelchair? No idea." Robin turned back to her computer and began pounding even more angrily, partially because she had lied to Jeremia. Again. [i]I should just let Jesse deal with it. He gets himself into these messes.
