I looked up at Irik for the first time since I've known him a whole day. He seemed diffrent that just some one trying to act tough but a kinder softer Irik. "I'm sorry I didn't know Irik." I mumbled as I looked away.
How could I've been so stupid I was here whinning about Rebbeca but he lost everything almost everything. . .I thought as I looked over and saw Jaden. I looked around and saw Anna staring at me. I still had Anna at least. I broke away from irik embrace as I walked away to Anna. I stoped and turned around "Thanks weed-head." I made an effort to smile at him.
We were just stood there in silnce looking down at Rebecca, she was like my little sister, and Anna's older sister.
People came to mutter there sorrow for us but I didn't really pay attention. Kenji dug the grave himself cause he felt bad that he led the empire towards us. Irik asked him how the man knew him.
"He destroyed everything I every knew." he muttered sadly. Some how it didn't feel like the entire truth, but the way he said it I wouldn't quetion him. I guess he belong with us then, we all lost everything. . .I looked down at Anna's small hand in mine well almost everything. At least I had Anna, and Irik had Jaden, Kenji had no one.
We gentley placed Rebbeca in the grave, and started to fill the hole up. "At least she's in a better place." Anna whispered.
"Why don't we let Peeta claim it, since he died today?"-Finnick (Catching Fire) "We may be friends and all, but if were being chased by crazy flesh eating zombies. I won't lie. . .I'll trip you."~ Me after watching the hills have eyes.
(Ayumi's still gonna post. She just got back from a week long trip to Arkansas last week, and it's probably exam week for her as well. She'll start posting again once everything has settled down, on that you can trust me.)
Jaden and Irik stood together as everyone paid their respects for Rebbecca. Well, Irik stood. Jaden was still sitting in the mech they hijacked from the Empire. That reminded Jaden, one of the soldiers back at the base had referred to the tiny mech as a prototype. It was probably important, which meant the Empire would come looking for it. He leaned over to whisper to Irik, "Brother, what are we going to do with this mech?"
"First of all, we've got to give it a new paint job. That dull gray is not flashy at all, and that Imperial emblem has got to go."
Jaden gave Irik an odd look. "Wait, you mean we're keeping it?"
"Of course we are, it's going to be our flagship."
"Flagship for what?"
Irik gave him his usual smile, the one that clearly said he was planning something. He climbed up into the back seat of the mech and and stood with his foot on the edge. "Everyone, listen up!" Everyone turned to face Irik and Jaden. "From this day forward, I'm starting a new group, the Phoenix Brigade! And this mech, which we're now calling Zephyr, will be our flagship. And it'll be piloted by none other than Jaden here."
"What! Why me?"
Irik ignored Jaden's protest. "The Phoenix Brigade will stand up against the war between the Draknor Empire and the Resistance, protecting those who are caught in the crossfire. I'm giving you all the chance of a life time. If you want to keep having your homes destroyed by the war, then go back to Jirachai. Those of you who want to make a difference and keep what happened to Rebbecca from happening to anyone else, step forward!"

I pushed to the front of the group and pulled Anna along with me. "We well!" I annonced.
"But Kasey. . ." Anna quietly whispered.
"Anna we have the chance to help try and change the world. And make it a better place, thinkg about it it's what Rebbeca would of wanted." I encouraged, she nodded.
"I won't be very useful though." she muttered while kicking the sand.
"Well what can you do?" Irik asked looking down at them.
"I know how to set a broken limb, how to clean, bandge, and stitch a wound, and I know how to cure some sickness." Anna confused.
*Hope it's okay if I made Anna some type of medic person I didn't think she could do anything else*

I knew that the small group had turned to look at me to see what I would say but I felt no hurry to answer them. I looked up at the sky searching for the right words to say. "I can give you advice," I said quietly, "Go, head east, and never come to these lands again."
Irik looked at me, "We can't do that, that-"
I cut him off, "Can anyone remember the whole journey to the prison?" I asked.
Everyone looked shocked as they realised that they couldn't. I continued,"If you all look on each other's shoulders you will see his mark. That man, he has claimed ownership over you."
The majority of the group stayed silent for a while and then Kasey asked, "How do you know this, what is that man really to you?"
I sighed and slowly unraveled my scarf from around my face. when I finally took the last layer off everyone gasped and stared at my cheeks, "That mark!" Jaden gasped, he gestured towards everyone, searching for the right words to say, "Its the same." he said looking shocked.
I slowly made eye contact with everyone in the group and when, finally my eyes made contact with Jaden, I saw that he had just realised who I was, "Everyone," he said eyeing me with mistrust, "get away from that man!"
"Who, Kenji?" Irik asked Jaden, "Why?"

(Let me guess, that man that captured everyone and put the marks on them is Kenji's dad?
Just so you guys know, I'll be gone again this weekend. I'm camping with my family again. Hopefully we'll be able to get our waterpark passes this weekend. Yes, the place we go camping has a waterpark, and go-karts, and mini golf, and a full arcade. It used to have batting cages and bumper boats, but those were taken down recently. Guess no one was using them anymore.)
"He's with the Empire!" Jaden said. "He can't be trusted."
"I used to be, but not anymore. Not after what he did," Kenji said.
"Just what is your relationship with that man?" Karana asked.
"That's none of your business."
Irik slid off the side of the small mech, Zephyr, and approached Kenji. "Well, then it's none of your business whether or not we leave, is it?"
"Don't be a fool," Kenji said. "If he catches you again, he'll do more than throw you into a cell."
Irik smiled, standing toe-to-toe with Kenji. "I say let him come. If he wants a fight, we'll give him a fight. The Phoenix Brigade won't be taken down that easily."
"You're just two guys, two girls, and a mech that you don't even know how to drive. You won't stand a chance against the Empire or the Resistance."
"I'm joining, too." Karana said. "I want to make the Empire pay for what they did to my home."
"Okay, but that's still five people and a stolen mech." Kenji pointed toward a large dune in the distance. "If the Empire were to come charging over that hill right now, you wouldn't stand a chance."
"Then we'll just have to find more people, and mechs," Irik said.
"And how are you going to get more mechs?" Kenji asked. "The only factions that have access to mechs are the Draknor Empire and the Resistance."
"The same way we got Zephyr," Irik said with a smile. "We take 'em."
Kenji glared at Irik and said, "You are, without a doubt, the craziest person I ever met."
"It works for me." Irik said. "So what about you? You tell me to get as far away from here as possible, but why aren't you running?"
Kenji looked away. "I have unfinished business with that man."
"And I suppose you're not going to tell me what it is?"
"Right."
"Then why not come with us?" Irik asked. "We've still got an opening."
"Brother, you can't be serious!" Jaden protested. "He can't be trusted!"
"I'm the leader of the Phoenix Brigade, Jaden. I decide who can be trusted or not." He turned back to Kenji and asked, "So how 'bout it? You gonna come with us? At least it's better than wandering in the dessert alone."
